“To think I’d have to resort to this…” Six loosely spoke through Lily, slowly adjusting to taking full control of the body.
To his surprise it seemed like her soul and body could handle his full power without any potential damage, earning a sigh of relief from him.
Quietly he looked down at his passed out companions, they would not wake up any time soon due to the miasma, however with the stars soothing energy repelling the miasma it should save them and the civilians as well.
Though to be sure they survived he held a hand out, a protective barrier of azure blue forming around them.
“Rest well, I will return for you shortly.”
Now it was time to deal with the source of this dark magic, though it wouldn’t be easy to pinpoint the mages in question with all the twisting magic in the air.
“It’ll take at least thirty seconds to locate all of them… likely another twenty five to cast the spell… this body can handle my magic, but its senses aren’t up to my usual standard.” he mutters to himself while closing his eyes to better focus.
He just needed to relax, one minute was all it would take to save them, the civilians just needed to hold on for that long.
Taking a deep breath Six readied himself before opening his eyes, two magic circles forming under his feet, rotating in opposite directions.
One darker than the abyss, the other the familiar azure blue of pure magic.
In his left hand a flickering flame of black and blue formed, in his right a bow made of pure starlight.
As he shifted his left hand and drew it back along the bow string the flames formed into an arrow of magical fire, dancing violently but holding its shape.
Once the magic circles below clicked into place his eyes lit up bright yellow and he let the arrow fly up into the sky.
It flew high before breaking apart into 8 parts, those parts shooting down into different locations and piercing through the various mages keeping the miasma field going.
The flames pierced right through their souls, leaving no chance of survival, for this flame ignored everything and specifically targeted mana and the soul.
Soon enough the spell they had cast faded, and only Six’s power remained dominant in the sky, the stars shining even brighter than before.
“That takes care of one thing… now, onto the next.” he muttered while focusing his attention on a powerful energy source leading what remained of the enemy army outside the city walls.
He could tell that there was Daemon fighting in the opposite direction, however it seemed like whoever was fighting it had the situation under control for the most part.
It also seemed as if the king, queen and little god were all in the temple being protected by Grey.
“That leaves the army for me then I suppose, I’ve already intervened this much after all.”
Without wasting a minute he teleported outside the city walls and in front of the army, catching them all off guard.
Who could blame them really? To them it looked like this outlander of no clear talents had just appeared before them.
She held no discernable presence, no overwhelming intensity, not an ounce of killing intent… yet she stood before them as if they were no threat in the slightest.
“Here me!” Six commanded while raising his right hand “Lay down your arms and leave now, or relinquish your lives upon this sacred land!”
An air of silence and hesitance ushered through the crowd before one stepped forward, a man wearing a black robe with red accents... the Dark Lord's sigil in plain sight across the chest, that damned dark sun clear as day.

Yet there was something different about this man, different from the rest of the army around him. He didn't hold an ounce of far, no, he seemed at peace with everything around him.
He wore no smile but held no malice in his eyes or mannerisms, nor was he trying to cover anything up.
Instead he simply bowed in respect and spoke softly, just loud enough for Six to hear.
"I see the rumors about your return were true then, oh Lord chosen by the Stars." his voice was smooth, easy on the ears and sounded all too friendly. "If this land is yours then the rest of our army shall return to Lord Raime at once, for he does not wish to see you or your ilk harmed."
Six hesitates for a moment, caught off guard by this. "What do you mean? if he did not wish to harm them then why launch an assault on the kingdom of Resovult?"
"Well, as you have likely been able to tell the right to ascend to the throne of creation has begun." the robed man speaks casually. "The only way to do so is to defeat all other bearers of the seal, that or find someone strong enough to tear open the path to creation... but we both know that person doesn't exist, or they shouldn't."
"So then you came here to clear the path to creation... then why stop now?" Six says as he allows both hands to come into view.
One bears the brand given to Lily, the one all outlanders hold.
The other though, it bears the marking of a dark star, casting a horrid and awe inspiring light forth.
"For the path to creation shall never be opened so long as these remain in the world."
The man pauses, then bursts out laughing, clear amusement and a tinge of insanity lingering there. He laughed so hard he almost doubled over before eventually calming down. "Tell me, do you really underestimate your own power so? There is not a single creature living or dead, past or present, that would willingly challenge The Forgotten!" His voice sounds a bit more energetic and delighted now. "The man chosen by The Stars, walked into Creation, beloved by the Abyss! A titan who could lift mountains with ease, set Io's domain ablaze, turned the stormbringer into his familiar! The man whos birth made the world believe a new god of chaos had emerged!"
"You seem to know a lot about me..." Six says while narrowing his eyes now, ready to annihilate the army in an instant.
If this fool knew who he was so well then something must be planned, it was never a good sign if people knew the real him.
"But of course, your entry into this dream was a grand one!" he says, the smile still present on his face. "As soon as we found the reason for it we knew that no matter what we tried we wouldn't be able to defeat you... so we've decided not to fight you at all." he casually strolls a little closer before pointing to where the miasma used to be coming from. "After all, not just anyone could dismantle a ritual like that so quickly... especially when each mage was guarded by divine level barriers."
"Then what will you do? Retreat? Call off the daemons?" Six asks while steadily preparing a spell ever so slowly.
"Well we can't call off the daemons, but I'm sure you and your ilk can handle them." the robed man says casually while turning away. "You've got plenty of strong fighters after all! Just try not to lose too many of them, you may be able to defeat Raime but none of the others can!"
Before Six can question them further a rift of the same miasma forms under the army, pulling them away from the location to who knows where.
All Six could do was sigh in defeat as he looked at this, more and more trouble just kept piling up for him wherever he went... all that could be done now though was to clean up this mess.
Slowly he turned back around and closed his eyes, the current situation could be handled by the survivors. He'd love to stay and help but who knows what side effects could come with taking over Lily's body for too long?
Personality alteration?
Magic override?
Soul corruption?
Memory alteration?
All options Six didn't like, this was her life to live after all.
He'd only help if it was needed... but if Raime was as powerful as that robed individual said then perhaps he might have to train her and her friends.
For now though it was time for him to get some rest and mull it over.
"Lily, its time for you to wake up."
