Hello Readers!(~ ̄³ ̄)~
This is my notice that Asmophel's Apprentice will be going on an indefinite Hiatus.
I've realized recently that my writing process doesn't make for the best reading experience. I've been writing Chronologically, but when I would later review chapters that were already posted I would find myself wanting to change things. But I couldn't because these changes would essentially cause a domino effect in the overall story. Obviously, it would be annoying and confusing to have to go back and reread whatever changes I make so I decided that I would stop posting to Royal Road for the time being. This sent me into a tiny itty bitty depression for a bit, which is why this notice is only being posted now. _(:_」∠)_
I will be back for sure! But, it won't be until this book is essentially finished which will take me a while haha.
I'm also dealing with some stuff related to my future path in life as my parents are pushing me away from writing since they don't think it will be able to support me in the future. This means I'm going to have to look for a job/college path that will put me in a career where I will be able to do I job I like as well as write on the side which will take some time and research.
Thank you so much for the support y'all have shown me, especially to Bent, who always left me some editing notes and comments! I appreciate it more than you know.
You could be reading stolen content. Head to Royal Road for the genuine story.
In the meantime I figured I would recommend some replacement reading materials here on Royal Road!
My number 1 recommendation is: Tori Transmigrated - It's a really great story about a woman who is transmigrated into the body of the villainess in an otome game/novel! The character writing is really impressive and I'm very much in love with Aila Aurie's world.(≧▽≦)
My number 2 recommendation is: Azarinth Healer - Now obviously, as I'm sure y'all know, as it's one of the biggest stories on the website, it's a story about a woman who is transmigrated to the world of Elos! It has a little over 800 chapters at the moment and I've read all of them! I'm someone who can get a bit bored when reading the same thing for too long which really shows how great the story is when I've gotten this far! It inspired a lot of Asmophel's Apprentice's world in its initial conception.
My number 3 recommendation is: Beware of Chicken - It's a great story about a man transmigrated (can you tell I like transmigration tropes yet?) into a cultivation world and decides to live a peaceful farm life! The characters, worldbuilding, and story are all top-notch and it's very feel good slice of life stuff!
My number 4, and last, recommendation is: The Harvester - It's a story about a teen who is pulled along with his classmates into a universal system. The author, Ahra Manyu, does a really great job building the world/system and having an overpowered main character that doesn't feel out of place or make the story boring!
Much Love,
