Chapter 1: Azure Dragon; Vermillion Phoenix; Black Tortoise; White Tiger
---
The sun glared down unto the world, illuminating vast plains and mystical forests, showing a clear boundless sky that held divine-like puffy clouds. In the remote corners of this vast mystical world, a juvenile young boy stood at the side of a river, two people in front of him.
This young boy is Lin Wu, the young master of the immersive Lin Clan, a powerhouse of the Divine King Province, a legendary, mythical state in which the pinnacle of the world gather.
“Well, what is it that you wish to discuss with me?” Lin Wu asked with a cold voice. Years of temperament after being humiliated, mocked, and beaten, have hardened his mind to astonishing heights. The two people in front of him sneered, and viciously bit out.
“Die!” The shorter of the two, a youthful young man with a rat-like face, immediately dove towards Lin Wu, killing intent inside of his eyes. The taller of the two simply watched with a cold, indifferent face.
Lin Wu simply stared with cold eyes, watching the dimly glowing golden-colored fist that was getting closer and closer towards his face. It was ascertained that if the attack were to make contact, Lin Wu would no doubt die.
Contrary to what one might expect, Lin Wu had a calm, impassive expression on his face.
“I refuse.” Lin Wu said with a serene voice and as fast as lightning, a palm strike was let out, heading toward the glowing golden-colored fist. The short youthful young man with a rat-like face simply snorted, and continued his advance.
Without a moment sparing, the palm made contact with the fist!
“Pah!”
The fist broke! The rat-like young man wailed as the pain registered in his mind, the taller man staring with widened eyes. The palm of Lin Wu had actually broken the fist of the rat-like youthful man!
“How is this possible!?” The mind of the tall man immediately sped up. “Lin Wu is the supposed cripple of the Lin Clan, it is impossible for him to cultivate Spirit Qi! Could it be possible that he had made a recovery?”
What the tall man thought was true. Lin Wu was the certain cripple of the Lin Clan, without any innate talent, no ability to cultivate Spirit Qi, and a mysterious Spirit, it was a known fact that Lin Wu held no power whatsoever.
So, how did he break the fist of the rat-like servant?
“You believed that I am cripple, right?” The serene voice of Lin Wu rang out, a oppressive Spirit Qi beginning to burst surge forth. A demonic shadow appeared behind him, tyrannical and destructive pressure beginning to spread throughout the vicinity.
“You see, there is a special case.” Lin Wu murmured, a blood-red sword beginning to condense in the hand of the demonic shadow, a blue fog began to coalesce into the distinct shape of a dragon on his side.
“That is, if a Cultivator possesses multiple Spirits, there is a chance of a late awakening.” Lin Wu continued his explanation, the blood-red sword appearing as the demonic shadow became bigger, the blue dragon becoming more detailed and life-like.
“If this rare case does occur, then that Cultivator will not be able to harness Spirit Qi, as their Spirits are hibernating within their Soul World, preparing to awaken.” Lin Wu concluded, beginning to walk towards the two cowering youthful young men with a sinister expression on his face.
Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
“So. Do you think I am a cripple?” Lin Wu said, and swung with a single hand. The two youthful young men immediately became a pile of blood, which was quickly absorbed by the blood-red sword.
“Azure Dragon Spirit. Shadow Devil Spirit. Blood Lord Spirit. This are the only Spirits that I have summoned, in addition the Vermillion Phoenix Spirit, Black Tortoise Spirit, and White Tiger Spirit are also within my Soul World.”
“It seems that it is time to step into the World of Cultivation. I have remained lenient far too long, basking in the peaceful edict of no battle, bloodshed.” Lin Wu said, a dim memory of a powerful Ashura that had rampaged throughout the Heavens surfacing within his mind.
With nothing but a single thought, the large tirade of Spirits disappeared, a small pitch-black fox, possessing two blood-red eyes, and six tails remained.
This the first Spirit of Lin Wu, the Heaven Devouring Fox Spirit.
Lin Wu stroked the black fur of his true Spirit, and simply walked towards the Dao Manor, an large valley where the majority of the Lin Clan lived.
The Heaven Devouring Fox Spirit was special in that it can devour the Spirits of others, and afterwards recreate them within the Soul World of Lin Wu, effectively making the devoured Spirits his.
This is how Lin Wu had obtained all of those tyrannical Spirits. The Azure Dragon Spirit, Vermillion Phoenix Spirit, Black Tortoise Spirit, White Tiger Spirit, Blood Lord Spirit, and Shadow Devil Spirit were all devoured within his previous life, in which he was the raging Asura known as a Killing God.
The only reason that Lin Wu had remained dormant within this last few years, was simply because he enjoyed the peace!
The bloodshed, rage, wrath, and fury that Lin Wu had experienced within his previous life, he wanted to take a break from it! He had gotten tired of it all. Yet now, after being lenient and dormant for over a decade within this new life, a new Killing God will emerge.
It should be said that Lin Wu had high standards for the Spirits that he would devour using the Heaven Devouring Fox Spirit. The Four God Spirits he had devoured from a Great Sage God. The Blood Lord Spirit and Shadow Devil Spirit from the 7th Demonic Emperor of the Underworld.
After walking for a while, Lin Wu had arrived before a giant ethereal door. This giant ethereal door is the entrance to the Dao Manor, and only those with Lin Clan blood could enter it.
Without hesitation, Lin Wu walked through and entered into a bustling town-like establishment. With many pavilions, villas, and palaces littering around a giant, tyrannical tower, all surrounding by an endless forest.
Lin Wu began to walk towards a lavish villa, with many treasures and wealth adorning, clearly representing the high status of the person that lived within it.
“It is time to create a new Killing God, and to start it off, I should probably begin to circulate Spirit Qi within my Soul World, which has remained dormant for over a whole decade.”
