Nearly four centuries ago, humanity arrived under the guidance of seven Eternals in Seylenthea on the great Island of Novomundis after fleeing their destroyed homeland. Peace lasted under the prosperous protection of the Pantheon of Seven until a few years ago, when one of the four kingdoms of Novomundis, Armithris, rebelled against them, denouncing them as tyrants. The Pantheon gave the mission to the Kingdom of Volghart to form a coalition to end this rebellion. Now, Armithris, the capital of the Kingdom of the same name, is burning under the assault of the coalition. As the war is ending, new destinies emerge amongst mortals, individuals who will impact the fate of Seylenthea and Its people, as Eternals of every race fight in the dark for influence and supremacy over the continent. A war ends, but a great conflict looms on the horizon as the Ashes of War descends upon Seylenthea.
