An ancient city hovering over the dark abyss, house of mad, damned souls wandering without hope. Nestor is but a simple monk living a quite life in Tuscany, Italy. However, one day on a field trip to help some poor villagers, his world crumbled, and the flames of betrayal burned his body to a crisp. Shockingly enough, that wasn't the end for him, as he found himself inside a new body in a foreign land. He had entered the cursed citadel, Ceres. Bound by contract to participate in the act of war alongside the army of the Council, Nestor will have to adapt and survive, and perhaps forge his very own legend. The story will follow Nestor along adventures, and the discovery of long forgotten secrets and mysteries. Along the way, he'll manage to form both new friendships and enemies.  Will he manage to stay true to his humanity? Chapters aren't very long since English isn't my first language. Around 1.4 k.
