CH 1: Arrival

At the edge of the world at unknown location a crack in the dimensional wall formed and as reality itself twisted in on itself, a small black orb the size of a golf ball shot out from within and floated into place. The orb which survived the place between reality’s abruptly crumpled onto itself and a emerald ethereal substance invisible to the naked eye spilled out filling a space far vaster than the container it inhabited, inside the Emerald soul that had successively landed held five white orbs, one of which had grown a dull grey.

Without any prior signs the second orb flashed brightly and a thin film of soul force created a wave of white that spread across the world near a third the speed of light, it was but seven seconds before on the other side of the continent the frozen corpse of a 17 year old girl flashed with a similar white light as it resinated with the spell.

As the second orb grew dull, the third orb too flashed and a thin yellow film covered the soul forcing its presence out of all forms of worldly perception while also creating a false shell of a soul that acted as a disguise.

As the forth orb grew bright, the space between the now yellow soul and its new frozen vessel shrunk and with a slight twist the soul traveled several million miles straight to its new frozen home, its vessel lay shriveled up on the stone floor.

The forth orb dulled and the fifth glowed as 13 runes burned themselves into existence before squirming to life like a bunch of snakes before squirming into the popsicle that would be there new body.

That was when, the soul had finally found that it had done enough and settled itself into the icicle corpse not knowing the absolute chaos it just caused with its sudden entry into this new world.

----------------------------------------

Nothingness, that’s all I had felt for the past eternity, the absence of all else besides myself, as my conscience fell into a daze and my soul took its auto-piloted course through the unknown space that lay between my old dimension that once held earth and the new one I journeyed towards. So I waited, not knowing where I was going and if I’d actually ever get there, until eventually I did. The darkness that I’d long grown accustomed too shattered as it filled with the weight of thousands of years of memories of the voyage crashed down on me like a torrent of informative slurry, a few seconds later it fully assimilated with my consciousness, with that new I had landed and so I waited.

The first thing I beckoned me to life was my heartbeat, signifying the process of pumping blood through my once thoroughly frozen body, then my lungs drawing breath causing oxygen to once again getting absorbed by my now pumping blood, after that my body slowly started waking up as the 13 runes carved within my body started the process of repairing damaged tissue and muscle.

It was only 20 hours later that I gained locomotion of my body and brain, then I could be truly called alive, if you forgot the fact that my body had been a frozen popsicles for 400 years and I was alone in some ruined structure just as old then yes I was most certainly among the living. Then there was the minor problem that the soul force I had saved up for 120 years had all but disappeared into nothing but a fake shell of a soul shrouding my true soul and a few unpowered spell circuits carved into my soul.

And so, without any truly major concerns I opened my eyes and perceived my new world, a stone ceiling covered in ice, Atop a bed that was covered in ice, I was in what I could only assume was a noble girls room from the late medieval/early renascence era, it was surprisingly well maintained because of the… you guessed it Ice.

I started diving back into my memories of my soul scan as I replayed my voyage here. ‘So a frozen castle on a snowy mountain surrounded by no life besides some freaks of nature that live on the mountain below, wait what the hell are those beasts?’ The beasts I was talking about were the oversized animals that literally radiated a ‘cold’ pressure.

Stolen story; please report.

‘So my new world is one absolutely stocked with dangerous shits huh?’ I’ve been preparing spells and techniques in my old world for my entire life just to survive, sure for my old world it was overkill but now none of my past colleges can call me crazy for preparing a spell to great a point of mass that would suck all life force from a certain area into itself.

As my mind drifted around remembering what I gained from my soul scan I lay on the bed without consideration of the negative something celsius room and my mostly shredded clothing, if my runes weren’t protecting my body I’d probably still be a popsicle.

‘Natural disasters several times more intense than earths most horrid events, knights running around in full plate with superhuman stamina and strength… is that a dragon? Damn those things all died out nearly 6 centuries ago back in my world but there still flying around here? I’m 100% taking there body’s as experimental material.’

As I ran through my fantasies of dissecting this worlds natural wonders and creating new spells, I was shocked when a ding sounded and a large blue rectangle burned itself into my mind.

“The fuck?” We’re the first words I said in this new world.

----------------------------------------

It had been nearly 12 hours since the blue box appeared in my mind and I still have no clue where the hell that came from. It was clearly coming from within me, no doubt to that but I had after hours of searching my body and soul for any signs of tampering I had found nothing.

So I moved on to comprehending my new blue friend, and the closest thing I could think of was a magic résumé, it told my name, my title, my age, my classifications, and how I was yet was not a transcendent.

Since I knew with certainty that I had around four times the spiritual power that a normal human possessed and that ‘system’ as it called itself showed 4.1 Spiritual power, I could roughly guess what everything represented – besides Mana.

It was all fascinating but I should probably worry about the fact that I was trapped within a Ice coffin, buried nearly 7 stories under the surface.

Lightly jumping off the bed and onto the cold stone floor I made my next realization, unlike my new body which had been repaired with the power of my soul, ‘my’ clothes did not. Leaving me in what I couldn’t quite bring myself to call apparel.

Ignoring the cold I walked towards the door and attempted to pull it open with my meager strength and yet… crunch the the door handle broke away from the brittle wood and the door itself cracked into pieces.

I was met with a wall of compact snow. ‘Just how much of this castle is intact?’ I asked myself fully knowing the answer but that’s not quite what mattered, what mattered was that I would have to crawl all the way up from here, that certainly sounded tiresome.

Using my spiritual power I crafted a spell circuit in my mind and created a rod of flame that extended 10in. “Let’s dig.”
