First off, I want to thank all of you for sticking around and supporting the story. A special shout-out goes to the readers who’ve regularly dropped comments—it’s because of your encouragement that I’ve made it this far.

Now, I’ve got some exciting updates! Over the past weeks, I’ve realized that the story was heading in a much darker direction than I originally planned. What started as a fun LitRPG with interesting twists gradually became too grim, and after spending time re-reading and editing, I found myself thinking: “Life's already hard enough—why make this webnovel grim too?”

This is my passion project, and I want to feel energized and excited about writing hundreds of chapters for you. So, I’ve decided to rewrite the story with a focus on making it more fun, lighthearted, and full of humor. Ethan, our protagonist, is getting a personality boost—think witty, unpredictable, and always ready with a comeback. I want you to laugh and enjoy the ride, not feel glum or tense after each chapter.

What will stay the same? We’ll keep the key elements like Skill Mimicry (with a few enhancements), the village of Hallowford, the Restful Boar Inn, and the overall setting. But the tone will shift to something more entertaining, with plenty of room for adventure and some potential romance (Ethan’s not destined to be a lonely bachelor, don’t worry).

As for the rewrite, I’ll likely delete the current chapters and start fresh, or I’ll release a new book. I’ll let you know as soon as I finalize the plan! On release day, expect 2-3 chapters right off the bat so you can dive into the new vibe. The chapter length will increase too, with each chapter being 50% to 100% longer than the current ones. And for those of you who enjoy leaving honest reviews, I’ll be releasing bonus chapters as a thank-you for your feedback.
