I watched my world get devoured by the entity in front of me, it was an entity no man could ever hope to oppose, I could feel no sentience within it, an entity without intelligence nor emotion, it was an entity born to devour.

I could my world decaying from the black mist entity, the buildings, ground, sky even space was being devoured by this entity.

I was the only survivor fromy world everyone had been devoured by this entity, I was the only one left in the end, we had taken every measure to try and kill this thing but none succeeded it was unkillable.

Clang!

Dropping my sword on the ground a wave of despair washed over me, there was nothing I could do but stare as it got closer to me.

Hero my ass, I was never a hero in the first place, I watched everyone die in front of me all I could was run, I was never what they though I was, I was a fraud

"Hahaha"

With a chuckle I could feel it growing closer it was slow so slow, yet it was unstoppable, this was how it was going to end for me 

The mist engulfed me entirely, a wave of pain I had never felt before spread throughout my body, it felt like I was being torn apart from my physical body down to my soul it was a slow torture that was extremely painful

Yet not a scream could come out of my mouth, I had already accepted my death so I would never scream

"This is it"

With a bit of sadness in my voice I closed my eyes waiting for my death to come to me

But then something lit up at the edge of my slightly closed eyes

*What's that?"

Struggling to even utter a word I slowly opened my eyes and what met me was a screen floating in front of me 

[Congratulations!! You have been invited

 do you accept 

 Yes or No]

It was something like that, but an invitation to what and now of all times I could still the pain eating at me, yet this strange thing had appeared in front of me 

"It couldn't hurt to try"

Saying this I clicked the yes button and then another message appeared

[You chose yes! You will be transported to a new space in 5,4,3,2,1....]

With that message I felt the pain from the mist disappear as if it wasn't there in the first place and there was a sudden light that engulfed me whole after that I felt my whole body go light as if I was air and the poof I disappeared

I woke up in a dark and damp space, it felt like a hallway of some kind, the walls were made with stone with dim light on the roof barely lighting up the space so it tooko some time for my eyes to adjust, the sound of water falling from the ceiling sounded in the hallway, it smelt like rust in the place

"Where the hell am I "

Walking down the hallway by following the lights I could see a small door at the end of it 

"I hope that answers my question"

Hurrying to the door I immediately pushed it open and inside was nothing special It was only a white room with nothing in it but still it was better than a dark place so without hesitation I got inside 

"Weird"

There was no one else besides me so I sat down on the chair that was in the middle of the room waiting for something or anything 

And that was when a calm and playful sounded

"Well let yourself in why don't you!"

The voice sounded behind me so turning my head I saw something I did not expect to see.
