My skills were looking excellent. I couldn’t wait to comprehend more because learning more would offer me a better chance to survive. When I get everything sorted, I will practice and experiment even if it takes a while to learn more skills.
When I saw a new window available to me, I kept going through notifications. Evolutionary Paths is the name of the window. I clicked it, showing that I unlocked two new plants.
[Ding!] The following flora, Luminescent Cave Moss and Cave Mushroom can now evolve.
-Luminescent Blood Moss
Luminescent Blood Moss is the evolved version of the Luminescent Cave Moss; it developed by absorbing a large quantity of blood for some time. When used for medicinal, this moss can help with blood loss and regenerate a tiny amount of blood.
-Heat Spore
The Heat Spore is the evolved version of the Cave Mushroom; it developed by being able to survive and absorb heat from the fire that was in the environment. When used as a defender, the Heat Spore will burst high-temperature heat from its cap at enemies. It can grow up to one foot tall. Being used as a medicinal herb causes a tiny amount of heat resistance.
Battles can have caused evolutionary paths for my plants. It would help my creatures, too, with more matches.

I had not overlooked the loots construct that would be dropped from my creatures, but now that I unlocked another animal that could be a defender, I wanted to do all the loot after creating a more athletic beast.
Pulling up my new Monkey Blueprint, instead of one pattern, offered me two: one male and the other female.
The male was enormous and had more muscle mass than the female; while the female looked vulnerable, it was leaner too, for speed. It did not impress me, either way, knowing that I could improve my new monkey defenders more sufficiently than the standard blueprint.
But I had high hopes for them because they were from another realm, so that they would be unanticipated. Also, they were already strong even without the new modifications that I will do on them.
I pulled up the male pattern first and enlarged it. On my first floor, I wanted the Monkeys to be the central defender. I took the black haze off, thinking that was the part making them Devil-like. I didn’t want it to be deranged.
I reset their bones and strengthened them with some Qi so that they could stand up on their hind legs on their own if they wanted to. Next, I streamed some of the Qi into their muscles so that they had a chance of regenerating torn ligaments during battle to help them last longer.
The blueprint showed that they could grow to 6 feet tall when standing straight on their hind paws. Next, I enhanced their top two and bottom two fangs with Qi to make them sturdier and sharper to help for a powerful bite when attacking enemies.
I wanted to make the eyes more prominent by enhancing their facial features and improving their vision; as for the ears, I made them more human-like but enhanced their hearing. As a result, they should now have sharper eyesight and night vision, while they should be able to hear from a long distance for the ears.
I then placed some generic Qi just on their outer body. That will strengthen their body's defense; if not, hopefully, their fur will deflect some weapons or skills away from them.
Moving on to the female pattern, I did the same to the muscles by putting Qi in them as I did with the males, but not as strongly. Again, I am focusing on agility with the female, not brute strength. I made the muscle ligaments of Qi; the hologram of the female blueprint grew to where they would be in the 5 foot 6 inches range. I did the same to their eyes, ears, and fangs as I did with the male version.
I was ready to see what the System would count them as. I had invested more Qi into this pair than with my insect defenders.
[Ding!] The Host made a modified, non-Devilish version of the Devil Qi-infested Monkeys. Because the Host took out the Devil aspect to the blueprint, would you like to use this blueprint? If so, the original blueprint will be lost [Yes] or [No]?
Yes. I thought excitedly
Congratulations to the Host for creating a rank 1-star unique creature. Please see the status for information.
[Heavenly Blessed Monkey]
I wasted no time inspecting my new monkey. Fortunately, the name sounded the opposite of the last version. Don’t get me wrong, the previous version was excellent, but I want the best, and I saw some points I don’t think cultivators would like, for example, something evil. I know there is a slight chance of demonic cultivators, but the majority would probably go after the core to destroy beings of evil.
Nevertheless, I wanted to stay here and not be eliminated; an active part wanted to show everyone that I was a being that was superior to them. Therefore, I would make the most gorgeous and deadly being they have ever tried to destroy.
Status!
Heavenly Blessed Monkey
Rank: 1
Qi: None
Description: As a newly evolved version of the Devil Qi-infested Monkeys, it has no essential Qi element. However, Heaven has given a blessing to harness all the Qi in multiple evolutionary paths. When in a group, these monkeys are territorial scavengers and omnivores.
If I had a smile and ears, I would be grinning ear to ear. But instead, I was an orb; I had just the plan to unlock two paths that were probably part of the multiple paths the System was talking about. The beast cores.
Looking at the blueprints to the cores, I did the same as my old monkey blueprint; I took out the black haze from the Flame Beast Core and the Earthen Beast Core. What it left were two gorgeous cores. One looked like it had a condensed orange-red star in its orb, while the other had a golden-green hue where the two colors were fighting for dominance.
[Ding!] The Host has unlocked the following
[Flame Beast Core] and [Earthen Beast Core]
I was super excited about my idea, but. First, I needed to take things slowly. I pictured my new monkey and thought, spawn! The first one was male, and I continued until I ran out of my stored Qi essence. I have made five so far.
I didn’t want them to stand there while I waited for more Qi to restore in the core, so I had them patrol the area I claimed just in case something else happened.
