Not a Chapter, Announcement Post

Hello Everybody!

As I've said, I am officially on break from my normal writings this week. However, I forgot that RR does an additional writathon in April, and if I'm being honest, I pretty much just write in my spare time anyway. Also, new projects are way easier to crank word count out on than stuff that's already got 400k+ words to make sure you're not contradicting. As such... and because I wanted a bit of a palette cleanser, I launched a third story specifically for writathon. It is only going to be novella length, realllly different than what I normally write, and I'm honestly not expecting anything big to come of it. Chapters are being posted pretty much as soon as I write them, no patreon, no backlog, nothing.

So, if you want to read a kind of cozy little low-stakes fantasy that's basically Homeward Bound running on D&D rules that's only going to be about 60k words long and will be finished in the next two weeks, I present to you: Lemon

Lemon is a good girl, smart as any human, even if she does have four legs and a tail. She lives with her master, the great Wizard Hogarth, who is sometimes a little forgetful, very excitable, and often quite smelly. Hogarth loves making new potions, and Lemon is his trusted assistant!

Hogarth has been talking about an upcoming wizards’ conference for months, and has been eagerly refining his latest work, the Potion of Unlimited Invincibility. It only works for a minute, but during that time, nothing can hurt him. Unfortunately, he rushed off to the conference and forgot the sample potion! It’s up to Lemon to get it to him so his big debut isn’t a total flop.

It’s a long trip, but Lemon has plenty of magic to help her along the way, and her master needs her help! Sometimes, a dog’s gotta do what a dog’s gotta do to save the day.
