Chapter 1: Seed

Chapter 1: Seed

Away from civilization in the mountain overgrown with life such as wild plants, dangerous beasts, and earthly minerals that have not yet to be explored and are not known to many, and on the side of the mountain, a dim artificial light leaked out in a cave. Inside the cave, there was a man frantically writing in his journal above a floating orb of light illuminating the area around it. Although dim, it was enough for him to see what he was writing about.

"I finally solved the problem." The weary man declared to himself in a raspy voice. Placing his pen down, he leaned his back as he gazed towards the rocky ceiling.

"After all these years... After having to give up everything... I can finally say that my life work is soon to be complete." He gave a bitter look as if he remembered the time of his past. After a quick break, the man proceeded to the dark tunnel wide enough for one person and following him was the orb of light. Beyond the end of the tunnel, a round room that looked like it been roughly carved by an amateur. In the middle of the room, a tree trunk that had been craved exquisitely that it seems out of place compared to the interior of the room.

The tree trunk had been hollowed out at the center and placed with a large translucent membrane with fluid flowing inside of it. And inside of the fluid was a rounded shape object floating without disturbance.

The man gazed at a round shaped floating inside the fluid in the membrane. "Just a little bit longer, and I will take everything back... for them." Next to the tree trunk, there were five coffins that have been standing vertically and on each of them. Even more, each coffin has many thin like nerves that were made out of wood and was connected to the tree trunk.

"The Golden Crown Slaughterer, Rein Tumblerstone." The man ran his fingers along the name on one of the coffins as if he trying to commit to his memory forever. He soon moved to the next one and repeated his actions.

"The Unnerving Demoness, Song."

"The Great Gaia, Heavo Thereafter."

"The Last Kind, R."

As he moved onto the fifth coffin, there was a gap that has yet to be sealed and inside of it was nothing. The man took a glimpsed at the coffin before walking away back to the membrane. On the lid of that coffin, all it showed was an initial, 'A.I.'.

"Let me finish everything here, and then I can finally rest." And with a wave of his hand. A screen appeared in front of him, a user interface that was made with light magic. He frantically began to type on the U.I with lightning fast speed. As he typed, blue lights like vein lighted up and hurryingly traveled throughout the tree trunk and its branches. The floating object inside the membrane began to swirl so fast inside the fluid that it caused a mini whirlpool. The thin like nerves began to attach itself slowly to the spinning object causing it to slow down to a complete halt.

"The final step to create true intelligence that can go beyond humans' intelligence. The Artificial Seed."
