my teeth sank deep into the soft flesh. I chewed the bits to mush before swallowing it down. my eyes lit up in surprise and I turned my happy gaze to the woman sitting to my left. "this is delicious mother, I didn't know you had the talents for cooking!" she looked over to me, a smile deforming her silicone face. "I don't. it was your father who cooked it, I simply cut it into easily ingestible pieces." she said with a stale face, still that eerie smile tainting her lips.

I turned my gaze to the man on my right. from the way his head was turned to me, yet I had not seen any movement, I could deduce that he must have been staring at me for an unpolite amount of time. I laughed slightly and exclaimed "well, I suppose I should thank the both of you then!" while the two of them stared blankly at me.

I resumed eating the food, the two robotic androids i called my parents staring blankly at me. "oh, haha, thank you." I said, the two of them returning their cameras to the plates before them. neither had food, although I don't blame my naive self for believing their little rouse.

suddenly, a thump raised its voice from upstairs. thump thump thump. soon, down the stairs, a young girl protruded. her young, supple body allowing her to easily skip down and into the kitchen i and the two were seated in. "Nii-san!" she happily squealed before she fell into my arms. she hugged me tightly before resting her bosom upon the chair in front of me. my mother poured her some sort of sweet-smelling liquid, with the consistency of oil. the color was dark, yet the girl happily said "thank you, okaa-san!" before raising the sphere of goo to her open mouth and slurping it into her artificially warm body.

this was all normal. a day as usual, in fact. really, only now, after all those years of torment, do i understand what a terrible world I lived in.
