After calculating, Ru Ning determined that his Physical Strength and Endurance would increase by 1 point for every level he gains, Agility by 2, Magic Power by 3, and last but not least, his Resistance by 4 per level.
He wasn’t sure how these stats worked or how it changes his body, but it wasn’t something to be worried about for now.
At this moment, he needed to survive and quickly find a way to leave this forest — to somewhere much safer. It’d be troublesome if he were to encounter another creature that could easily kill him like the snake if it were not for his Poison Immunity. He didn’t like the feeling of having no control over the situation, it makes him feel powerless, something he finds extremely unpleasant.
Ru Ning continued to wander the forest aimlessly soon afterward.
Not long after he started walking, he began having crazy thoughts that only someone like him — someone who is immune to poison — would dare to imagine.
He thought that since he was immune to poison and that consuming poison would increase his strength, it would be a great idea to eat these weird-looking plants that were everywhere in plain sight.
This way, he would at least have some nutrition in his stomach without worrying about having no nutrition or being poisoned to death. He could even gain strength from it like with the Rainbow Venom.
And without further ado, Ru Ning began eating everything in sight, his attention mostly on the plants that looked it could be potentially poisonous.
From plants with purple stems mixed with red to herbs that had black spots, Ru Ning consumed it all without hesitation, not sparing even the roots of these plants.
If anybody were here to witness this horrifying scene, they would definitely turn and run, afraid that they might be poisoned just by watching him eat these suspicious-looking plants.

The plants he ate were to no surprise, all bitter-tasting and poisonous. However, that only made Ru Ning crave for more.
Eating poisonous plants were nothing crazy in his view since he has done worse things to his body, such as, injecting venom into his body and purposely allowing poisonous animals to bite him to see the effects.
Additionally, halfway into his poisonous buffet, Ru Ning earned another Title, Poison Critic.
“This forest is a paradise!”
Ru Ning laughed out loud as he rubbed his stomach.
Because he only had to consume the poison once to obtain the effect, he would only take one bite out of every different plant there. This way, he was able to utilize his stomach space and taste everything at least once to gain the effect.
If he didn’t, then he would’ve had trouble eating everything to gain the effects because the size of these plants was anything but small; one of them was even taller than him.
Ru Ning wanted to find and eat more poisonous plants, but after walking for an hour without finding anything new, he decided to give up and began eating just to fill his stomach.
By the time he was finished, over a dozen new discovery was added into his Poison Knowledge, where information of all poison he had consumed were listed.
[Purple Devil — Will turn the victim’s skin, organs, and blood purple, followed by death within an hour after consumption. Can be made into Purple Powder.]
[Laughing Flower — Victim will laugh until death. Can be made into Laughing Powder.]
[Silent Misery — Prevents the victim from making any sound while slowly burning their organs, killing them within 7 days. Can be made into Powder of Misery.]
[Torment Herb — Victim will feel as though their body is being stabbed by sharp objects during nighttime. Can last up to 30 days. Can be made into Torment Drop.]
The Poison Knowledge allowed Ru Ning to know everything about the things he had consumed. It was like a Wikipedia inside his head that listed everything from the poison’s symptoms to their effects and cure.
“How convenient.”
Ru Ning loved this world more and more with every passing second. Despite the dangers, there was just so many things for him to do. He feels as though he will never get bored in this world, unlike his previous world where there was barely anything new for him to do.
~Rustle
Suddenly, while Ru Ning was in deep thoughts, the bushes beside him rustled.
Learning his lesson from the snake, this time instead of opening his mouth, he slowly and silently distanced himself from the bush while preparing to use Create Poison at any given moment.
“$(@*#&$(*@#&^@#$?”
Two figures suddenly walked out from behind the bush speaking in a language that Ru Ning was unable to understand, one man and one woman, both looking to be in their late twenties with spears in their grasps.
“Barbarians?”
He instantly compared the two to barbarians due to the way they were dressed and their tanned skin color.
“*&^$*^@?”
With a suspicious face, the man pointed at Ru Ning with his spear that was made of wood and stone.
“...”
Ru Ning, with a calm expression, lifted both his hands into the air, showing to the man that he was unarmed and harmless.
The man stared at him for a moment before lowering his spear.
“(*#@&$(@#*$&(*@#&$?”
Ru Ning shook his head and asked them, “Can you understand me?”
“^%#$^&*@#^&*@?”
The man and woman looked at each other with a puzzled expression. They clearly didn’t understand a thing Ru Ning just said to them.
Ru Ning had expected that there would be some sort of a language barrier between him and the people of this world, but to think it'd this bothersome.
How will he deal with this situation, now?
