He spent a pretty penny on his new rifle.
The arms traffickers during their usual business at Valsa Docks told the Doctor about weapon parts and accessories. It is used by the island mercenaries to replace the deteriorated parts of their weapon or upgrade them to enhance their lethality. When he showed him the hunting rifle they offered a replacement scope which has an adjustable high power zoom and a suppressor, something that perked his interests. It was an attachment that adjusts the sound of the gun to be far quieter. His overall purchases for these enhancements and replacements, was at the expense of all the LMD he looted/found in pirate chests or sold miscellaneous items to the vendors.
Nevertheless he put it to use. Journeying a few hundred meters into the jungle he had the now upgraded rifle ready in his hands. In the distance he saw two pirates at a junk pile, looking through random stuff left behind by the others. The suppressor attached to the barrel slowly emerged from the tall grass. The scope dial clicked, his eyes adjusting to the crosshairs.
The air hissed and he saw the pirate fall into the junk. A minute later, the other pirate turned around. He was taken aback by seeing his dead friend. Getting close to the corpse, Doctor pulled the trigger, the hissed and he fell into the junk also. The suppressor and high power scope worked wonders.
His travels to the Medusa continued but before the shrill roar of a leopard is heard as he saw the beast pounce from atop of a tree.
----------------------------------------
Doctor rested himself on top of the rocks. He saw the Medusa and her crew through his binoculars in different points of the beach. There were three that stood out with their entourage, one of them tightening a twine wrapped around a key. That key is probably needed to enter the Medusa... His bandaged arms steadied his rifle to aim at a pirate torching a loose piece inside the Medusa. When he took the shot, the pirate fell and Doctor grasped the opportunity to sneak up behind the Medusa seaman. Hiding underneath a hollow metal crate, he pulled the pirates' legs and rammed the knife down into his back. Taking his key, he went to second.
Near the shore, Doctor silently took down the nearest pirate, setting the body aside behind the crates. Throwing a rock near him, he lured the other very important looking pirate as he shifted away from his location. As soon as the pirate went to his former hiding spot with the dead body, his reaction time was cut by the Doctor cutting his throat. Rummaging inside his pockets, there was a written frequency code. Frequency Code 2.
The first one was near the waterfall as Doctor dashed from crate to crate to get closer to the pirate. Same as before, minus a lure, he snuck behind, knifed the pirate and his mate who was distracted with torching a slab of metal, after which he took the last frequency code. Going to a wooden slope he ascended to the Medusa's deck. Climbing on the crates and then to the walkway where he opened the bridge's door. Entering he went to the panel to his right behind the main bridge controls.
"Must be connected to the radio." Doctor immediately entered the codes. Sounds of static and pings turned into a conversation.
"...Vaas is recording videos at P.C."
"He's ransoming them already?! I was told to line up buyers!"
"Do it. After the money shows up, the ladies will go on the black market and we deliver them to the buyers."
"Double the money... Hehe, Daddy likes."
"Hey, Medusa. We're changing shifts, Vaas wants more guys at P.C. We'll be there in a few minutes."
"..."
"Hey, Medusa! Pick the fuck up! We know you're listen-"
*Cut*
"They're coming..." Doctor said in slight panic. Looking around there was a small pack of explosives with a remote control on top of them. On the other side of the bridge were the remains of the crew's ammunition stockpile. "I'll make it work."
Heading outside he threw the blocks as hard as he can near the gas cans and hid behind the open door. Peering from the side he saw boats approaching with a good number of pirates. Easily outnumbering the ones he took down. The Doctor waited. The pirates simply strolled through, checking the containers and crates, more decided to check the bridge. However, when they saw two of the slain crewmembers of the Medusa.
"Hey! There are-!"
*Boom*
*Boom*
*Boom*
It was line of fire from below. Doctor saw the multitude of pirates immolated at the spot. That was the first wave. The second, and one he didn't notice come into view from the other shipwreck. Several of them were in a panic, seeing the destruction before them but with no visible cause. The air burned and whistled a quiet note. One of the pirates was sniped. The rest took cover. Another was shot.
Seeing that they were more compromised here they rushed to the Medusa. Two of them headed to the slope only to be gunned down by automatic fire. The others went to the scaffolding at the stern. They were also met with gunfire, one of them went down by his head blasted through from several bullets. Two pirates were left from the incursion, they both saw the Doctor hide inside the bridge and stacked up behind the door. The front nodded to the pirate behind him. Reaching to the handle, the door swiftly opened, bashing the pirate's face to the floor and the Doctor let loose a hail of shots. The first volley to the pirate behind, his next shots silenced the writhing pirate below him.
He got what he needed and now...
"Hello Dennis. I hit the Medusa." He called in about what happened. Seeing as no more pirates were coming, he dialed Dennis about his findings from the beached ship. "The pirates sent a message about-"
"Doctor, I was just about to call you."
"What's wrong?"
"Vaas wants us dead. I'll tell you more when you return to Amanaki village. We need all the help we can get."
"Alright, I'm on my way back." This sounded urgent. With his remaining energy from the firefight he headed back to the village as quick as he could, descending from the slopes and to the arches where he first infiltrated from. Here's hoping to find an unmanned car or buggy left behind while he trekked there.
----------------------------------------
The sunset returned to the islands. The Doctor, with his burning legs reached Amanaki where at the village center Dennis and another Rakyat warrior were having a tense discussion. It appeared that the previous call Dennis made was urgent. Enough to grab immediate attention for all the Rakyat warriors available. He walked up to the two in spite of his exhaustion.
"What's the skinny Dennis?"
"Vaas prepares to attack our village." The Rakyat leader explained. "He is gathering weapons even as we speak now. If he is ready, he'll wipe out Amanaki."
"How much time do even have?" Doctor questioned.
"Our scouts say that the pirates will have until tomorrow night. Vaas wants this village gone Doctor."
"Doctor, please." The warrior beside him said. "Fight for us. Many Rakyat will be murdered here."
"I know, but standing here to fight or destroying those weapons aren't a viable option."
"How so?" Dennis responded.
"Given how extensive his connections are, Vaas will repeat the same process until he sees results. But if we instead capture those weapons for the Rakyat..."
"We can strengthen our warriors, and weaken Vaas. He'll be easier to kill." The warrior summarizes. Doctor is showing his colors as a masterful strategist. His rising skills of the Warrior is being reflected by his ability to make long-term decisions to benefit them.
"Yeah, I'll be the one volunteering. We only have until tomorrow and a small band of us would drive the pirates into panic, they'll secure the weapons before we can get them." Both of the Rakyat agreed. The warrior excused himself to let his kin know about the operation.
"I knew we could count on you." Dennis said, satisfied that Doctor had a good head on his shoulders and a plan to disrupt the pirates upcoming incursion. Going to the Doctor's phone, they both surveyed the map. "The pirates stock weapons in the logging camp southwest of us." He said, making small red dots on the map. "It'll be easier to enter if you take Mosquito Yard and the Radio Tower north of there. Our scouts are saying that they're forming a perimeter to defend the logging camp. If we take the outpost, they'll regroup elsewhere. It'll thin the numbers in case they call for reinforcements and help you find the logging camp better."
"Alright." He nodded, heading to the bridge towards Mosquito Yard.
"Good luck."
----------------------------------------
*Roar*
"Dammit, shut the fuck up!" The pirate shouted to the caged tiger behind him. He let out another roar in spite.
"He's still roaring?" His compadre said.
"He's been doing that since we caught him."
*Roar*
"Did you do something to piss him off?"
"Yeah, shooting him before tying him up."
*Roar*
"Huh? That sounded further, did he escape?"
"No, there are tigers all over and we made sure those cages are tight. It looks like one of them caught something in the jungle. Maybe a rebel bastard, haha."
"Heh, I like the sound of that happening close."
"AAAHHHHH!"
"Haha, yeah just like-AAAGGGHHHHH!" The tiger was unleashed from his cage. Soon, the pirates found themselves in front of a vengeful tiger. Free and hungry for the flesh of his captors. They wondered on how he got loose and why isn't the sniper doing anything to kill him. It didn't take long for the tiger to get his fill, grabbing a torn piece of flesh to the jungle and the Doctor arriving to the outpost with more bandages and bloodstains.

Mosquito Yard, secured.
Now for the radio tower.
----------------------------------------
Nightfall.
He saw two guards in front of the main entrance of the logging camp. One of them putting gas on a work in progress Scavenger and the other pacing around. The rest were inside, a pirate at a makeshift balcony, a pirate sitting in front of a campfire, a pirate at the pier, a pirate behind some logs and three were near a shack. One of them bringing in a box with a bandolier of bullets inside the shack before closing it. The weapons were there.
His course of action, he'll start with the outer guards first. He stabbed and dragged the oiler underneath the car. Luring the entrance guard into the bushes before quietly dashing behind him and stabbing him through the neck. The camper had his throat slit and set to the bushes. The one near the pier was shot and he fell into the water. Doctor made another shot to the pirate way above the rest of them as his body fell out of sight behind the metal screens. He did some luring with the two pirates bunched up. Throwing a rock at the entrance, stabbing the one who stayed behind before doing the same to the befuddled pirate.
The pirate near the door could only groan in boredom. He was just sitting there after finishing the last of piling of weapons for their assault on Amanaki. It was an attack he couldn't wait. A swift, painful pillage of such a vital area that'll make the rebels go into disarray. Suddenly he heard a thud near the logs. He thought nothing of it, thinking it was one of the pirates irritatingly hitting the wood. He couldn't blame him.
"Can someone fucking just shoot me already."
He had his neck sliced open instead.
Seeing as there were no other pirates in sight, Doctor went to the weapons shack left unlocked.
"Woah..."
The sight alone would make the likes of someone such as W let out the most girlish squeal she can possibly create. It was boxes on top of boxes on top of boxes of armaments, explosions and ammunition. He couldn't help himself as he grabbed additional magazines, grenades and any other explosives he hadn't seen before or can fit in his satchels. When he loaded these circular mines into his bags, he heard noise outside. Some pirates returned.
Heading outside he heard engines turning off and boots hitting the dirt. Getting close enough while crouching he saw two trucks parked outside, its occupants looking confused at the quiet state of the logging camp. Nevertheless, he tossed an explosive, the same one he used back at the Medusa, at the two trucks and hid behind the building. Triggering the detonator he felt the earth shake when a huge blast enveloped the arriving pirates. Whatever's left are scorched to stillness.
"Hey! Don't let him get the-AAAAGGGGHHH!" One of the pirates, this small group just arriving from the opposite side of the logging camp, was mauled by a passing tiger. The surprising attack left them stunned, Doctor thinned the herd with a couple of shots from his rifle, leaving two dead and the rest left up to the beast.
"How do you like that?" He sat down on the chair and proceeded to call Dennis.
"It's done."
"Doctor! A fine piece of work. Now, tell me more about what you found on the Medusa?"
"My friends have been taken to somewhere called P.C. Vaas is recording ransom videos and is planning to sell them once he got the money."
"P.C.? P.C... Pirate's Cove! It was originally called Sunset Cove, we know the pirates are using it as one of their prisons."
"Got it."
"Doctor, if Vaas is still there, the strength you receive from the path will help you succeed. If he is only recording ransom videos, you have time."
"Understood, thank you Dennis." He hung up the call and waited for the Rakyat warriors to come.
Going to Pirate's Cove now while Vaas and his friends are there is a risk. Doctor knows this. However, the Tatau has proven to be useful. The strength he's been receiving and the results that came with it is a testament to that. Sure enough, his mind is set. To do more for the Rakyat and grow.
Setting off to the jungle once more, he left the weapons shack by itself when he saw the trucks filled with Rakyat warriors arrive.
----------------------------------------
Studying the plants the Doctor had plucked from the jungle he developed several experiments in mind on what to do with them. Using Heliconia and Yellow Sage, he mixed the two plants into a bowl of water and let it set to be used inside a tiny discarded spray can. The mix is to be a potent yet untested animal repellent, his theory is that Yellow Sage being poisonous to animals and Heliconia is an alternative deterrent to keep the creatures away while being decorative. Ever since Mosquito Yard he's not taking anymore predators lurking behind him during his overwatch. He headed south to Northview Gas, another pirate outpost and if there's any indication, a gas stop for vehicles. Something the Rakyat could use pushing more into Pirate territory.
From there, circumventing to another opening. A small hole behind a wreckage of cars, he looked inside to see a few pirates there and one of them in body armor was heavily drinking. Doctor switched his rifle for his bow. He doesn't want to take a chance hitting the drunk. With one arrow, the drinking pirate up top collapsed behind the sand bags. The arrow was clean in its piercing power to quiet him and not alert others.
When Doctor pulled out another arrow he heard growling. A tiger, she was behind and looking for a meal. This was the perfect time to use his repellent. With a quiet spray to his person, the tiger shook her head when the scent hit her noise. He shuffled away from the beast letting her sniff the air while he was in safe distance. Her sniffing led to the hole, and into the pirates who haven't realized the tiger behind them until she pounced.
Gunfire was the first thing he heard when returned to his original spot until a loud bang came out of the outpost. Going to the hole the tiger first entered he saw her remains smeared across the truck beside him. A red barrel was seen with its middle section blown out. What the tiger did isn't in vain as she left only the gunner for him, who is still in a state of alarm. Doctor prepared another arrow and waited, carefully making sure to not his the turret. When he turned, his body in full display, the arrow was loose, and he fell face flat into the ground.
Another outpost down.

Finding those relics in these parts of the jungle have gotten him in the most haphazard of places. It was an extensive search, which wasn't that bothered him, it was him trailing sometimes back and forth, up and down that did. As if the Doctor's exhaustion wasn't bad enough. He felt like he could collapse at any moment. Although he wouldn't necessarily call it a waste.
With his travels he went up many mountaintops, through a steep valley with hanging bridges he had the sights, beautiful sights to behold. It was in contrast to some relics found in a farm ditch or a simple cave. Were it that he and his Operators landed here safely. No pirates, no planes exploding, no madman warlord. They all would've loved it here. A sad moment to relive as he stopped himself on the mountain trail.
The last relic he was to recover is below. Far below where he's currently standing. Doctor found himself on a linear path near the summit of the mountain near Northview Gas. He went to a relatively safe trail that went one way where he could descend from the opposite side. However, when he found out that the relic was at ground level he found another way down...
Well, he couldn't remember how he convinced himself to choose THAT option. First he had to get a running start, and with all the energy he could bring to his legs, he had to spring up and out of the mountain. The thoughtlessness behind this stunt is that he has jump far enough to not hit any sharp, sturdy mountain edges that can kill him. Reach the pond, not the bridge in front of it and dive in... well, intact for the most part.
"Goddamit all...!" Doctor went back up to the surface, spitting out some lotus that he had fortunately landed on. Grunting in frustration he resumed his search. Passing the waterfall, swimming underwater to a broken piece of a ruin doorway. "There!" The last relic to find for now.
He needed a break from this...
----------------------------------------
Down the summit where the radio tower is. Passing by the bridge that leads from Mosquito Yard to Northview Gas. A bump here and there. The ride to send medical supplies was far smoother compared to the first one he did. Considering that he was in a quad bike again, he had thought of another shaky ride down south.
Doctor managed to reach his destination. Handing the supplies to the warrior he thought he was gonna leave until he saw a villager waving at him. Looks like she needed help. Parking the bike near her house he went up to her. The woman appeared stressed, stuck in a situation where she couldn't do anything.
"What's wrong?" Doctor asked softly.
"My daughter has been killed. Murdered by her husband, Senin. He hurt her, he hit her!" She said hurriedly. "I told her to leave him. I said that."
"Wait, miss. Let's settle down and start over." Clearly the death of her daughter has left this woman distraught. He wanted things to be more clear before he gets to do anything.
"I know who you are. You are the one Dennis told us about."
"Yeah, I go by Doctor. Now, what can you tell me about your daughter?"
"My little girl... who I taught to walk and run and sing is dead now."
"I'm sorry. And this Senin killed her?"
"Well... no, but it is his fault." She accused but he listened regardless. Gesturing her to.
"Go on."
"She died of heartsickness and now he wants to know where she is buried so he can dig her up and take his ring back. Please, if you are a good man, make him scared. Shoot at him but don't hurt him. He's afraid of guns. Make him run and tell him Rohana says to leave her daughter's grave alone! Please Doctor... Help my little girl be at peace." She is desperate and for a good reason. The dead shouldn't be treated like this... Giving a nod to the mother.
"...I'll try not to harm him."
"Thank you. The grave is above the hill there." She pointed to the landmass behind her. He excused himself and headed to the grave. When got there, he saw Senin and two others clearly armed. Approaching the gravedigger.
"Are you Senin?"
"Huh? What's it to you?"
"Just a message from Rohana: Walk away and leave her daughter's grave alone." Maybe his presence with the Rakyat will-
"What's hers is mine by marriage! Hey!" Guess not. He gestured to the two guys who showed off their rifles, probably looted off of some dead pirates was the greenhorn Rakyat's most optimistic suspicion.
"This has nothing to do with you guys..." Doctor warned. His hand sneaking inside his jacket. One of them shook his head.
"Sorry mate. We're here for the ring."
"You'll have to take it..." He said in a low voice, his hand doing a persuading turn of the wrist, as if he wants them to try and desecrate the grave. With the two of them cursing, he pulled out his handgun beneath his coat. Unseen by the duo, he shot one in his stomach and gave the other a bullet to the head. Putting a few more shots into the fallen man he went back to Senin. Shooting more shots at him but purposely missing. "Got the message Senin? I can stop missing my shots if you want me to." He said while reloading.
"Alright, alright! I'll leave the grave alone! I swear!" Senin ran off with his hands up. Doctor spared a moment of silence for the poor girl. Moving the bodies away prior to returning to Rohana with his results.
"Did you see him? Did you tell him?"
"He won't bother your daughter anymore."
"Thank you. Please take this. I have no use for it now. It's not much, but it's yours." He was handed a handful of LMD. Nodding in gratitude he left the shed, heading to his new destination just beyond this coastline village. There lied a sniper who had seized a small part of the beach near him.
----------------------------------------
Orphan Point. The staging ground to enter P.C. It was an outpost right in front of the water but with fewer guards. Not that he was complaining. Sniping the guard on top. Dispatching the two separate pirates from opposite sides of the outpost, hiding them behind the rocks and building respectively. The pier he went through in order. Taking a pirate down when he was done talking to the other pirate at the ledge of the pier, hiding him in the outhouse. With the latter pirate, it was a knife to back and a push to give the passing sharks below a meal.
With that done, Doctor headed inside. He recognizes the same wooden walls, tarps and crummy mattress, only this this time it's mattresses, with three of them at the far end of the building and an armchair between him and the beds. It won't be long before the Rakyat come and garrison the outpost. For now, the attack on P.C. will have to wait a little bit longer. This was for a multitude of reasons.
The first is that he pushed himself passed his physical limits. He'll be impaired and a quick kill for the pirates. For that he will need a long, and honestly well deserved rest. The second is that assaulting their prison would work better at night. Currently it is mid-day; A nocturnal infiltration to enter P.C. would be easier for him, rested and prepared while the guards have to struggle with staying awake.
Finding a way to bore himself to sleep Doctor pulled out his phone along with two memory cards. One from Northview Gas and the recent addition here in Orphan Point. Like before, he downloaded the cards into his phone and read its contents. Starting with"Crack Cocaine"
"The source for this formula is unknown, but it includes the manufacture of cocaine from the Coco leaf, through to the use of ammonia or baking soda to manufacture it into rock form. This is listed as a non-profitable avenue since the drug is made cheaply on a local level and not distributed internationally like cocaine itself."
Unknown huh? And sold locally here on the island. Well at least it won't be an issue down the road. He'll have to let Dennis know about this underground drug running on the island. He then read the "Barbiturates" card:
"Current numbers for barbiturates including phenobarbital, amobarbital, and secobarbital, are not promising. Their usage and sales are declining and we recently had a bad batch that led to the deaths of nearly two dozen vacationing college students in Tkaronto. Our final assessment is that this compound is unprofitable for international distribution."
Good news coming from a bad one.
"Fucking hell..." He had enough and rested on one of the beds.
The Doctor will awake to his 9th day here.
