When she heard Luba's question she answered immediately.

"It's Aris"

"Were you born this way?"- Luba asked

It was obvious to Aris what she was talking about, her sapphire blue eyes weren't seen in these parts of the continent not to mention her white hair and skin, she as a whole stood out a lot and was used to answering these sort of questions when visitors sometimes stopped by their village to trade.

"Yes..."

After hearing that Luba's leaned her head on her palm and pondered with her brows wrinkled seemingly not worrying about her captive. Aris didn't know why but she looked like she was somewhat confused she didn't put into that much thought though, and just tried to make herself small in front of that woman warrior who invaded her village.

After few moments Luba asked something yet again, this time though Aris was startled and didn't know if she heard her correctly.

"...Excuse me?"

Luba just laughed lightly and said

"I asked if you wanted to live little girl."

"Yes." - She was confused, of course, she wanted to live.

Is she mocking me?

Seeing visible confusion on her face Luba smirked, ten stood up and came and stood in front of her while smiling.

"Then you need to become my property, what would you say?"

A new wave of resolve rushed through Aris as she heard those words, she could save herself and Ami and when the opportunity arrives they would escape... or they would become slaves for their lives... either way, they would live, and that what mattered to Aris the most.

"I will live when I say yes?"

"Of course, I won't anyone let harm my property." - She said smiling mischievously.

"And what would happen to-"

Not letting her finish her sentence Luba cut in.

"The rest will be killed"

"Then... Ma'am, could you add another person to this deal?"

Luba's smile despaired from her face and she took a step back examing Aris's expression, but as soon as she saw a hint of desperation she smiled again.

"I could think about it... if you will be obedient and will do everything I say from now on."

"I will be so-!"- Before Aris could ask about sparing Ami, Luba cut in again.

"Alright, I will believe it for now. So what's that another person's name?"

Aris knew that Ami's life hanged on a thread, because of that her back was covered with cold sweat and she felt as if her heart was in her throat but Luba unexpectedly agreed, she should feel relieved but now she was even more nervous as before.

That was too easy...

"Her's name Ami Ma'am."

"Now that's settled let's go, we have a long journey ahead of us as... oh, and from now on call me mistress, understood?" - Luba said while grabbing Aris's hand and pulling her outside to the market square, the sky was already dark but the village was lit by flames of burning buildings and crowd of now cold covering villagers still stood obediently in the same place as before. To that Aris only meekly answered.

"Yes, mistress."
