After arriving at the palace we went to the throne room while showing Lo were the training ground is. When we arrived at the throne room the king was sitting on his throne. At the sight of the king Roland and I bowed while saying:" Greetings father/uncle." While Lo was kneeling on the ground and said:" Greetings your majesty."

After the greetings Ral said to Lo:" You don't have to kneel because you are my sons master from today on and you don't have to adress me as your majesty. You can just call me Ral or if thats to hard you can just call me Mister Gelan."(ral)

"As you wish Mister Gelan and I will do my best to teach young master Roland to the best of my ability's."(lo)

" Good here is the token it will let you leave and enter the palace as you wish and you can also keep it after you taught my son everything. We just want you to know that as my sons master you can still come to the palace even after you leave after teaching Roland."(ral)

"Yes and thank you for accepting me as a part of the people you can trust. I would like to begin the traning in 3 days but I would like to first test what the prince can already do. So that I can determine which kind of fighting style suits him the most. Is that fine by you?"(lo)

" Of course go ahead as we of the royal family don't have a kind of fighting style that will fit everyone it would be best for a master swordsman to tell us his opinion is that fine with you as well son."(ral)

" Of course father I want to have the fighting style that fits me the best. Afterall I will need it to defend my life. And it is best to know how to fight in close-combat even if you are a mage as close-combat is the mages greatest weakness and by learning swordsmanship an martial arts I will be able to defend or attack in midrange and close-combat."(roland)

After the talk between the king and mister Lo we went to the training ground and saw the soldiers and the royal army training by running, fighting and they were also having something that looked like a push-up competition. I just hope that  Rol won't pull me into the examination as I really don't think it will be necessary to test me.

"Hey Mars do you want to have a great swordsman see if your skills are good or bad as well. He might be able to give you a few new ideas that you can use to improve your fightingstyle."(roland)

"No I think I will pass. I don't want to be the centre of attention."(mars)

"Are you sure? Don't you want to get stronger and in the academy you will be the centre of attention anyway so why not now. You will get found out sooner or later. So why not sooner then later?"(roland)

" But I don't want to."(mars)

" Come on Mars I think my father and Master Lo would like to know how strong you are as well. Right."(roland)

"Yes we do."(ral/lo)

"Fine then. So what do we have to do Mister Lo."(mars)

"You have to run as many laps as you can or until I say stop."(lo)

So we began to run and after about 10 minutes Roland begann to slow down until he was walking. As for me I am still full of energy and could run until well I do not now as I have almost unlimited stamina.

Well we stopped running after Mister Lo said stop and the next thing that we had to do was push ups. While I did more than a hundred Roland was still at his 10th push up. After Roland did his 30th push up he collapsed from exhaustion  and Mister Lo said stop.

Next was swinging the sword at a dummy to see if we could swing the sword. While we were doing all of these things the surounding knights were staring at me in disbelieve.

After we had finished with all of the tests Mister Lo said :"Come here for a second Mars I want to have a serious spar with you and no holding back understood."

I said yes and took out my own sword that I crafted and so the match begann.

First we were staring at each other and then Lo made his move he swung his sword aiming at my head. I deflect it and thrust my sword in his stomach but he dodged it with a side turn and swings his sword this time aiming at my feet.

But before he could hit my right foot I jumped in to the air and twisted my body to the right. At the same time I was steeling myself for the next attack that was aimed at my hands. Again I dodged it and landed on the ground I spun my body and used this chance to hit his left thigh but he dodged it by jumping on my sword and making a backflip.

After that the spar ended when I hit his sword hand and broke his fingers.

In the mean time everyone including Mister Lo were staring at me as if I was a monster then Ral said:" That was a good match wasn't it everyone. You should all aim to become as splendind as Mars understood knights."

Everyone aknowledged the kings words and I healed Lo's fingers with healing magic and all of the knights were looking at me as I did so and one of them said:" So you can even use magic. You really are extraordinary and you also posses great strenght as well as intelligence."

"Thank you for your praise and it is to be expected. Afterall I began my training when I was 2 and I have mastered the way of the sword and magic. You could also consider me to be more than extraordinary."(mars)

After I said those words we went back into the palace to have dinner. For today's dinner we had pork with vegetable and a bit of magical beast meat and as dessert we had a strawberry shortcake with whipped cream.

After dinner we took a bath and went to sleep.
