The Story Thus Far:

(The Unwanted Hero Arc)

Nameless Hero is a war/ adventure series following a Hero summoned just before her death into a Fantasy world. Of course, this isn't a normal Hero's tale, she wasn't invited! Rather than being praised by the Royalty, she was interrupting a Royal Ceremony. She would, however, be mistaken as some form of nobility due to her attire, a pure white dress along with a handbag with various items from her grocery shopping before the events of her world nearly killed her.

Over the course of a day, she would gather the interest of several key figures of the Island-Nation she wound up at. This being due to her being classified as a noble or high noble.

Attempting to not be imprisoned or killed for suddenly appearing within the Royal Castle, the Hero proceeds to align herself closer to some of these key figures through various conversation and social means.

This point is where the hero discovers that the procedures completed on her resulted in unknown changes to her body, making various objects near weightless in her hands.

After the course of these events, the mental fatigue of the hero, who of course had been awake for several days straight at this point while surviving near life-ending experiences, had reached its limit and caused her to collapse.

The next day, the Hero would be awoken by her 'favorite' knight Gregory, who would then escort her to a meeting with the King after a breakfast with the First Princess. An awkward breakfast later, the Hero would be subjected to an examination via a magical ceremony under the witness of supposed Light spirits that would serve to dissuade individuals from lies and deceit. The Hero would then have to choose who would be her interviewer from the Royal Family. This person being the one to judge whether or not she had spoken the truth before the Royal Family and the Nobles. If the accused is deemed to have lied or be dangerous, they would have to fight a battle to the death, where, if they won, they would have been proven under the Light spirits to have spoken the truth, thus making the member of the Royalty a liar. If such a case were to have happened, the member of the Royal Family would give their life to the one they had sentenced, normally resulting in death. This is a holy ceremony for the Royal Family to which demands the utmost respect and utmost belief.

If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

The hero, of course, hadn't been up very long, only an hour or two at most, and was confused due to the meticulous and rapid speech of the King. When asked to choose a member of the Royal Family, she hadn't understood that they would serve as her judge, and thus made the 'mistake' of choosing the First Princess, who hates the Hero, as her judge. This happened to be a Freudian slip.

This brings us to the first benchmark update. Next update will be after chapter 1?.

Writing style for NH:

As I often have many classes and am in lectures for up to 6 hours a day, I don't have much time on my hands to sit down before a computer and type out my various novels. As such, I often will pull out my writing/ drawing notebook and write it out during the lecture itself. I often study before the classes, thus I can afford to do so now and then, often writing a dozen pages during a single lecture.

Nameless Hero's page quantity for release is much lower than my standard for my other currently published novel, Ant Tensei. The depth and length of the story line is also far shorter in comparison to Ant Tensei- a difference between 150 chapters and 500+ chapters.  As such, the release frequency is also higher. I have three other novels that have not been published on RoyalRoadl, however, those novels have not been worked on to the extent for a release to the public at this time. At the end this season of Ant Tensei, I'll switch to releasing one of those novels for a season. As Nameless Hero only has a single season of Independent story before ***Spoilers withheld***, another series will take the primary slot that NH holds for the faster release.

As a note, I am a college student, any missed deadlines are due to circumstances far outside of my control. I will never cancel a novel without making a specific 'Chapter' release explaining why a series has been dropped. In my case, I have only done this once with the [Original] version of Ant Tensei in favor of its rewrite [Redux].

These stories are story lines that I personally enjoy to not only write, but also imagine and watch as they unfold before my eyes. To those who dislike certain aspects of characters or a civilization, that's merely life. No character in reality is perfect, but the fact that their flaws remain and don't magically improve is a true story. Instead of just broken mindsets, to me, these characters are alive in their own world, they make decisions, they walk their paths, they look to the future. They choose whether or not they do things, to fight, to run. They have their own pasts and memories, experiences that they may or may not remember. Their skills may dull with time, they may forget things that they once learned. To me, they are alive, these novels are not novels, they are stories of lives. To suggest I change how a character acts is to ask me to  change who someone is, their nature, their history, their very life. No one is perfect, yet that is exactly why I love these characters, because to me, they are alive.
