The family had arrived at their mansion. The building was 50 meters in height, 60 meters in length, and 50 meters in width. It surpassed even the size of the United States White House, leaving Alistair captivated and surprised.
The mansion was a striking combination of black and white walls resembling the yin-yang diagram. The black and white colors blended seamlessly, creating a calming sea-like effect. The white-coloured garden swayed with the breeze as the afternoon sun blessed it with its light.
As they walked past the gate and into the yard, Penelope said to Alistair, "Sweety, this is our home,"
They stepped onto the cement road and passed by the bright, glowing flowers. Furthermore, each flower with a pleasant and soothing aroma.
Suddenly, Alistair heard a clicking sound from his right, and he struggled to look in that direction. It came from grass.
Therefore, Alistair squinted his eyes and saw insects made of bronze, silver, and gold. If he wasn't already used to the view he saw in the city, he would have been unable to breathe.
Eventually, they came upon the house. The door was a mixture of oakwood and azure.
As Revan pushed open the entrance, Alistar witnessed a striking and unusual scene. The house blended ancient architecture with a modern urban touch.
Additionally, the magical floating enchantments written across the space of the enclosure gave it a captivating futuristic allure.
The sweet fragrance of lavender and roses filled the air, which was accompanied by a calming melody that permeated the entire place.
'What kind of world did I find myself in?' Alistair's eyes darted everywhere because he wanted to understand what was happening. If he didn't know better, he would think he was experiencing the after-effects of Benzoylmethylecgonine or as the streets called it — snow.
'And, I need to learn… magic!' Alistair thought. Since he was in a fantasy world, he had no alternative but to make this his goal. No.
He HAD to make this his goal. After all, who didn't want to be like Merlin?
'But what is the process? Is it like prana, or Qi, or maybe even Orgone,' Alistair contemplated every possibility he could remember from his past.
'Damn it! Why can't I talk?' Alistair thought with a grimace. He wanted to know more, but the conversations around him weren't providing any answers.
The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.
They were used to this way of living, so they didn't converse much about magic.
Penelope seeing Alistair's curious eyes, smiled. She used her fingers to touch Alistair's nose. His hands moved to stop the approaching finger. However, he failed, so he gave up and let Penelope have her way.
Despite this, they climbed a bronze spiral staircase with a ruby-colored carpet and arrived at a narrow pathway with a golden-themed design.
They headed to a door on this pathway, it was a navy blue door. Upon arrival, Revan pushed it open.
The room they entered was baby-proofed and filled with soft toys of various textures, but Alistair didn't recognize any of them.
However, what caught his attention were the posters in the room, and three of them possessed his focus.
Poster 1: A man in blood-red plated armor that merged with the crimson sun at his back and raven-black hair raised by his mere aura.
The man possessed fiery-orange eyes like firelights, which brought holiness to the gloomy scene.
Poster 2: A blonde woman who stood amongst test tubes that reflected light from the orange bulbs, silver wares, and steam machines that emitted a suffocating white smoke. The woman wore a white lab coat as she wielded an azure scepter containing an amethyst gem atop it.
Poster 3: A robust farmer, who wielded a scythe and farm clothes, staring at an army of spectral abominations ahead.
Alistair felt an emotion swell inside him as he observed the posters. He wasn't sure what kind. But. He knew they were important, but there was no way he could confirm how important.
Alistair looked away from the poster and focused on the crib. Although it looked decent, the thought of sleeping in it still disgusted him.
"Why couldn't I have been conscious at three years old, or fucking hell even at 12 years… Damn it, fucking stupid piss reincarnation, goddamnit!" Alistair internally screamed.
Penelope slowly placed Alistair onto the crib, and she smiled at him; both of them did.
'Weird asses!' Alistair thought while his face morphed to caution and alertness as he curled into the crib.
Penelope, seeing Alistair's caution, reacted. "Shush, this is where you will sleep from now on," she said. "So, don't be scared!"
"Yes, your mother is right," Revan smiled as he interjected. "We are here for you... There's nothing to be scared of."
Alistair for the first time didn't think of any remarks, a memory surfaced of when he first heard that sentence, 'we will be here for you!'
'No, no, you won't!' Alistair thought; those words were always lies, and this would be nothing different– parallel worlds or not.
Alistair scorned them in his mind. Their hypocritical face disgusted him, so he let sleep take him. There was nothing more to see in the waking world. He needed silence.
