-Alyxs POV-

I huff and walk the rest of the way holding onto the book in my jacket and look around trying to find my way back. I pull out the map that Alby gave me and i sigh not being able to match the surroundings with the map. So i just put the map back in my bag and keep walking.

I hum a small tune while walking making sure the Bandits werent following me. As I pass through the trees i hear a rumble and my heart stops. I keep walking and hear the rumble again and stop not moving at all. As the Rumble gets louder and closer i hop up into the tree hearing the rumble.

 My heart speeding out of my chest and i see A polar bear. I squint my eyes because the polar bear couldnt possibly make that loud rumble. I hear it again and the Polar bear takes off and i see a Dash Of white and blue under the branch i was in followed by a long tail and the blood of the Polar bear splattered everywhere. 

I close my mouth and shake in fear as to what it could be and i stay put. trying to find the object that killed the polar bear. I hear  A screach almost like a roar up in the sky and i look up and my jaw drops Hot tears falling from my eyes. 

A-A Dragon....How is this possible no it cant be dragons are only in cave right? right? why is this one out of its cave did it get disturbed? or attacked?

My mind flooded with possibilities but i couldnt get my body to move an inch as like i was frozen. i could get ahold of myself and the fear i was stuck in. Then i look down at the blood and Thats what got me moving. I didnt want to end up like the Polar bear. I carefully climb down the tree and scan the area Nothing but snow And Iceburg trees.

"fuck where am i alby please...help me" i mutter shaking in fear my weapons werent nearly as strong as what i needed them to be and for gods sake i was only level 5. I shook my head and scanned around i seen smoke in the distance and i huffed taking cover under the tree away from the dragon.

I take a deep breath and ran under another one closer to the smoke. One after One After One i went under and made it to a small town which was causing the smoke and i needed to warn them about the dragon. I ran into town and looked for the town hall but found nothing of the sort.

 Instead i seen a guard and immediately ran towards im "guard Guard...there is a dragon in the sky not far from here about 25 Miles South from here." I pant out of breath.

The guard scoffed and laughed "look girly i dont think your head is screwed on streight there hasnt been a dragon in years and im certainly not about to believe that there is one in the sky right now and the information coming from a girl." He said in a mocking tone.

 I frown and huff "im serious i can do way more stuff that you ever could even if i am a girl. So what girls can be better than guys and i can prove it too. Now you better back down and go check yourself or get this town to safety you hear? im not about to let innocent people die because some ignorant Guard refuses to listen to a girl!"

The Guards Jaw Dropped and frowned "alright you win..." he said and grabbed the horn on his belt and blew it Signaling a dragon. the towns people franticly got their belongings and head out away from the town.

 The Dragons screaching getting closer i decided i better head off to. i look around and take off south trying to find Alby yes i admit i am lost but i could handle it myself there is nothing i can do about it.

"okay im going south!" i call out to the guard and everyone heads south and i run off into the foggy blizzard storm.
