Chapter 7.

As the dirt and grass hit the disheveled land, the young girl that Apollyon threw to the ground becomes visible, her image shuttering into reality. She rubs her head since that was what hit the walls and the ground first. She can feel a small pain forming where she is rubbing and she is completely dumbfounded by it. Nothing has ever hurt Kila since her birth as a God and now that she has been hurt, even if it has been slightly, she doesn't know what to do.

Capitalizing on the fact that the person he intends to fight is just sitting there, Apollyon claps his hands together while whispering a chant. Floating in the air where he originally threw Kila from, Apollyon finishes the chant and the land around Killa begins to shake and rumble. A dome of dirt wraps itself around the unsuspecting Kila and entraps her inside of it.

Apollyon lets out a metaphorical sigh to calm himself down from the realization of has happened.

'With Leon and Victoria having children with each other, who knows what calamities could happen to the known realm of existence. I had forbidden it before for fear of what could happen... but they didn't head my warnings.'

Apollyon looks at the dome of dirt and sees that the person he has ensnared is not giving any struggle. She seems to just be sitting there in the darkness doing nothing. Apollyon readies another spell because he knows that a small dome cannot keep a God trapped inside and he is prepared for the worst.

Nothing... Nothing happens.

Apollyon goes out of his stance for spell casting and quizzically tilts his head to the side. He floats over to the dome and pokes a hole into it to see what is going on. The God he had thrown and put inside of the dome is just sitting there, crying. The supposed Goddess of Magic is crying like a child in the face of danger. Apollyon doesn't know how to react until the girl looks up at him with tears in her eyes. She isn't crying from sadness, she is crying from laughing so hard.

Apollyon feels a surge of power and flies away backwards. Wind builds up inside of the dome until it finally explodes, sending particles of dirt everywhere and releasing the trapped Goddess. She looks up at Apollyon and has the eyes of a maniac which she is trying to use to send fear into Apollyon. Fire bursts into existence around Kila without her even chanting a single word. Apollyon has never seen anyone other than him so prolific in the use of magic and he now understands why she is called 'Goddess of Magic'.

Lightning crackles in the atmosphere as a long lance forms into Kila's hand. She is using some medium tier spells in hope of scaring Apollyon even more so she can capture him but with him not having a face she cannot tell if it is working or not. Apollyon thinks about what spells he can use without using too much Chaos and he has to think quick since it looks like Kila is ready to be on the offensive now. Apollyon doesn't know the girl's fighting prowess so he will have to take this fight as seriously as possible if he intends to leave it alive. With the image of Kila disappearing from his view, Apollyon moves his head to the side to dodge the incoming lightning lance.

'She is not as fast as I excepted. She isn't even using her Invisibility to her advantage and coming from behind nor does she hide her Aura well.'

Apollyon sees the bright purple Aura flying around at fast speeds, looking for a time to attack Apollyon but he leaves no gaps in his defence and dodges all of the incoming attacks. Getting agitated at the fact she has yet to land a hit, Kila's Aura doubles in size as she begins to tap deeper into her Godly Mana for more power. Apollyon stays calm as her power has now exceeded his current limits but he believes that this Goddess is very inexperienced at fighting so he might be able to win with a simple trick up his sleeve. Apollyon finally summons his own weapon, a sword made of Darkness and is a fairly low-level spell. With enough manipulation though and some illusionary magic, Apollyon makes the sword appears as the legendary 'Light Consumer', a sword Apollyon had made and given to the humans long ago.

Kila sees this and becomes very wary since she has seen drawings of this sword before and it is said that the sword was lost in time, but if the person she is facing has it then she is in for a long fight. Wanting to end this fight before she can find out if the sword is the real thing, Kila uses a God-level magic spell and a storm forms above the two. It begins to rain intensely and thunder echoes around them once more. Apollyon sees that she is using the spell Lightning Fury, but he is the one who created this spell and he knows its flaws. A flash of lightning is seen and Apollyon disappears only to reappear below the invisible Kila. She looks down and Apollyon looks up at her and laughs.

Lightning, which is tracking Apollyon, falls down from the sky and goes to end Apollyon's life. That's the thing though, it comes from the sky and hits the object directly above Apollyon, which is Kila. There is a saying that Lightning doesn't strike twice, and whoever said that is correct as instead of striking twice, a torrent of 50 lightning bolts crashes upon the unexpecting and now paralysed Kila. She screams in agony as she put extra power in that spell and it completely backfired on her. She has never truly been in a fight with someone who actually wanted to harm her so Kila was not expecting her attacks to be used against her.

With small bolts of electricity coming from her, Kila falls to the ground with a thud. Being struck by lighting took her out of invisibility too as her body comes back to reality. Apollyon slowly floats down towards the girl with water dripping from the nose of his skull. Kila sees that she has been defeated by her own magic and is most likely going to be punished when she gets home. Kila's voice is a lot weaker now and is slightly raspy.

"To have one of my most powerful spells used against me... What a sad way to lose."

Laughter erupts from Apollyon as soon as Kila finishes her sentence. Kila looks at Apollyon with a distraught face and sheds an actual tear of sadness. His deep disembodied voice sends fear into the injured Goddess.

"To think I was actually worried about fighting you when Lightning Fury is one of your most powerful spells. You have so much potential you can tap into with the right teacher. What a shame your parents are the epitome of pathetic."

Kila is confused to hear something call the two most powerful beings ever known to be called pathetic, she begins to wonder what she has stumbled upon.

"Who, no, what are you?" Kila asks.

"I am your uncle sweetie, Apollyon, The God of Chaos and creator of all magic! Your parents probably have never told you about me but-." Apollyon goes to say something but the screaming of Kila interrupts her.

"Uncle Apollyon! Have you finally been freed? Did our plan actually work?!" Kila yells at the top of her lungs.

"What?" is the only thing Apollyon can say in his surprised response.
