Since nobody said anything from his classmates, Eric picked up the chest that appeared seemingly out of nowhere near the zombie which he just killed. He opened it and looked at what he got, a weapon! That was exactly what he needed the most right now.

'Now this will make everything much easier, I'm very lucky?'
Eric left the classroom, and just when he did one of his classmates said: "He is a monster, isn't he?" Everyone else was quiet.
There was blood almost everywhere outside of the classroom, with the blood there were also zombies, five of them. Perfect for Eric to test his new sword skill 'Shadow Slice'
'Today is really my lucky day' Eric grinned.
The zombies noticed Eric, they immediately started running at him, they were not particularly fast. Using his new sword skill Shadow Slice he released a dark air slice dealing all of the zombies 50 damage.
'Wow that was cool'
Zombies were greatly damaged but they weren't dead, yet. Eric expertly wielded the sword and with just one more slash to each zombie, he killed them all.

He leveled up finally and got +1 to each stat. The next thing he did was to devour all the zombies, which left him with 10MP. Gladly he didn't need MP to use sword skills.

Devour your target, adding their power to yourself. Devouring your target has a chance to collect its stats, skills, races, etc. If the target is defeated, the chance rises. (Skill upgradeable) 8 MP Cost. With each new upgrade, the cooldown is decreased, and you can devour stronger enemies.
Just as he finished looking through the power-up he got, Eric heard a loud noise coming from the roof of the school!
'I'm guessing that noise was made by a stronger monster, I have to kill it!'
Eric was determined, there were a few floors to pass by to get to the roof. He will sweep all the floors first to get even stronger before fighting the stronger monster or whatever made such a loud noise above.
In a short amount of time, Eric ravaged through three more floors, leveling up twice. He couldn't devour all of the zombies he killed because he didn't have enough MP for all of them.
Aside from zombies, Eric tried devouring a human who got killed by the zombies but didn't turn, and it worked! It seems like he doesn't have to defeat the enemy, he just needed a corpse. With that little experiment, he got a new class as well! These were his stats after clearing through the floors.

Eric was now in front of the stairs leading to the roof, with the noise he is hearing, he was even more certain that there was a stronger creature ahead. With his new strength, he was confident.
Opening the door, what greeted him was a zombie that was four meters tall, and it was quite fat... Surrounding him were ten basic zombies, all looking at Eric.
While he couldn't see how much HP they had, with all of the killings he has been doing, he calculated that on average a basic zombie had around 80HP. With the estimation that this bigger zombie is ten times stronger, he should have around 1000 HP.
'Well, this could be a long fight, this monster should also have some special skills'
Eric rushed at the basic zombies, but didn't attack, he was much faster than them, so he lined them up and used 'Shadow Slice', killing five of them instantly with a Critical Hit!
The bigger zombie still didn't move, the current Eric was too strong and with just a hit or two, he could kill a basic zombie. All of Eric's attention was on the bigger zombie, even though he was killing the basic ones.
Right when he killed the last one, the bigger one moved. Eric anticipated that and tried to move away, still, the bigger zombie was faster than Eric's anticipation and he got struck by its fist.
With that attack alone Eric lost 70HP! 'Fuck, why is it this strong'
Eric was enraged, he jumped back, and since the skills had no cooldown, Eric used 'Swift Strike' four times in succession dealing 400 damage because of the critical strikes! The monster was stunned because of the skill effect, Eric used that time, in a frenzy he continuously slashed and slashed, dealing 230 more damage.
Just as the stun ended, Eric used 'Shadow Kill' which dealt 250 damage. With all of that, the monster dropped dead.

With two level-ups, Eric regained his stamina and HP. He was all new.

The System noticed that the user is getting too strong for the current world, putting him into hibernation for three years.

Just like that Eric fell unconscious and his body disappeared leaving only the corpses of monsters behind.
