Since I already knew how important it was, I couldn't keep my excitement under control. I have lots of them a total number of a hundred even after my level up with the left I don't have to worry about the energy running out I can give all of my focus on work.

In the previous world, there were many limitations because of rules, one has to consider carefully before doing something even if they have money. However, that is not the case in the apocalypse one can even do things openly that were considered illegal previously but I have to be cautious having cores in the apocalypse can give extra benefits and also can bring extra harm.

Without rules and regulations or without having someone who punishes them for their bad work people in the apocalypse would become more savage, killing someone for their selfish desire would become more normal than you think.

There are two ways to increase one's level. The first one is normally mutants use which is to consume directly through the mouth and the second one is to crush the cores near your body part, upon realising the energy they get their way to the nearest vessel and increase its power.

The first method is more effective than the second one but for a human being like me, It would be very difficult since only the human's tongue can feel the extreme bitterness of the cores. If someone tries it without knowing then he will surely regret it.

That bitterness is hard to bear for a normal human and it would not be that effective at the beginning level that's why people would never realise their benefits. It would be a great use when one reaches the advanced level, from there the level up gets harder and needs a lot of energy, by consuming directly can prevent energy from getting leaked.
