New Location Old Friends

The endless darkness seemed to stretch for eternity, there wasn’t so much as a speck of light, but the space around remained visible.

Darkness, unyielding darkness and silence, but yet something sounded within its endless expanse.

This thing sounded massive, it’s voice made the space shake, it was the things laughter.

Through the darkness a large clown mask imprinted on it like the space was made of rubber, forcing it’s way through the glowing stark white ever smiling mask broke through.

The bells it had on its head dinged, loud and slowly like the sound from a church bell.

The laughter from before only gradually growing more distorted with more of the creatures bodies emerging.

Huge feet stepped through another entrance as it’s body continued to materialize until all of it had come through with the exception of it’s right hand.

The giant creature crossed it’s legs, giving a rather awkward and strange bow, it’s body contorting while it’s shoulder stretched.

The creature pulled it’s body, the remaining hand slowly being dragged into the space, it’s grip it wielded what seemed to be a long black pole, a pole that was growing in length as the clown pulled.

Inch after inch stretched out the hole as The creatures head was now touching the ground with it’s free arm laying limply to its side.

The pole has turned out to be a scythe, the instrument standing at the same height that the jester once did.

The once deafening sounds of what seemed to be laughter now resembling pained groans as the voices wailed and shrieked.

It’s limp hand pushing against the floor the creature loomed forward into the darkness before abruptly facing it’s head downward on a little spec of light.

It’s hand lifted, striking down at the light with only but a slight gleam from the instrument’s blade.

The blade of the jester seemed to pause held by a thin pale white hand with shackles on its wrists.

Zed got up with a start, placing his hands all over his body, his heart ramming against his chest.

The boys small body was drenched in cold sweat as he attempted to swallow, but could feel his mouth was dry, his attempt to swallow his saliva proving futile.

The boys gaze feel an a marionette looking thing in the corner of the room, it was dressed in a gothic Lolita fashion, with skin that looked to he porcelain.

If this was a normal day he would have not paid such a creepy thing any mind however, the doll in question was as big as he was.

“What?” His voice was cracked as he spoke and he could feel his throat burn, rubbing his throat he grunted.

The marionette blinked and moved it’s head to the right of his bed and the hot followed it’s gaze.

To his right was a cup of water and a bowl of something grey, he looked back at the doll, a lump of caution in his heart turning to fear as he felt this may be part of the nightmare.

This doll continued to nod until he took the water and then it rose from it’s seat, shivers ran down his spine as his hair stood on end till the doll left.

The boys brain was having trouble understanding what was happening as image’s of what happened at the facility and the endless darkness stretched on in his mind.

His eyes darted around the room as he heard the door reopen and he nearly tumbled off the bed, fearing the dolls return.

“Hey don’t run it’s me, it’s us” A familiar voice reached his ears, he looked at the person before him quizzically.

He has a feeling he should be able to recognise this person, invisible gears started to turn in his head, the guys mind getting to work as fast as possible.

The person had olive tanned skin with wavy black hair, when they talked their unusually pointed canines were quite easy to notice, he had normal hands, but his nails seemed to almost end in claws and his eyes were yellow slits like those of a serpent.

“Demiurge?”. The person smiled and spread his arms wide and said with a laugh, he seemed to he enjoying tge attention he was receiving.

“Oh what it is to be remembered”.

“You’re more good looking than I expected, it’s a bit disappointing”. He said and let our a sigh another voice coming from behind.

“You so fucking owe me, I told you I wasn’t the only one”.

Zed raised an eyebrow as the elf like girls stepped out from behind the much taller demiurge.

The girl had smooth dark skin, much darker than demiurge and she had long pointed ears, other than that she seemed mostly human.

“Sona?”

“In my own flesh” Zed touched his face and glanced at both his palms with a sigh, the clothes on his body far too big for him

“That was in poor taste, I apologise” The boy had calmed down after seeing some familiar faces and was walking towards them with a smirk on his face when he fell backwards.

Cold beads of sweat formed on his body, his breathing became haggard and his body trembled when he locked eyes with the man who stood at the door with them.

In the doorway stood a man who’s hair was a mix of black and gold in trench coat, cigarette in hand, the sound of his lighter clicking as he tried to light it.

Zed could feel himself wretch, his body was confused as he felt he might just die from the shock.

The other two rushed to him in an attempt to calm him, only for him to retreat further into the room.

“I told you it was too early” The little doll from before had addressed the man with the lighter while he silently observed the chaos inside the room.

“Hmm, I agree” He said, his figure seemingly being erased like a pencil drawing as he disappeared leaving behind the single card with a jester on it.

The doll-like little girl brushed aside her hair with a huff, crossing her arms "Show off"
