One day, on 5th Azula's sunrise.
A curious girl, walking in a forest full of wonderful plants and vivacious vines.
She saw the end of the forest, leasing her to a pit.
A snake pit, to be precise.
There lies, an incredibly venomous snake nicknamed "Quetzalcoatl".
A venom so powerful, that petrifies a person once in contact with their blood system, or should I say "life energy".
Here, views a very beautiful scene of a man, resting on a branch of a tree, and a young girl, holding her looking at the man.
[Ok, so let's go back in a minute]
"In my point of view please." Chris said.
'yes, of course' I said.
Ok, 5th Azula's sunrise, midday.
So what's this Azula's sunrise.
So, the seasons are named after the four gods of creation.
Azula, the goddess of life.
Amumu, the god of death.
Akira, the demi-god of knowledge.
And Akoatl, the entity of celestial bodies.
Azula, marks the season of harvest. Amumu, marks the season of festivals. Akira, marks the season of plantation, and Akoatl, the season of celestial events.
"Come on, just skip that thing." Chris impolitely said to me.
'ok, ok' I replied.
So Chris, the Apex Predator of the Serpent's Clan, originated from his human Parents at the Town of Wheatacre, was mercilessly killed by his mother because of his incapability of using magic. Reborn as a supernatural being.
Now that he moved on from the traumatic event, he lives in the valley of wealth, where 4 clans of nature are founded. The Serpents, The Primates, The Dragons, and The Hawks.
Stolen story; please report.
"Enough with the lore, this is a slice of life story!" Chris shouted at me.
I sighed and continued to write.
[Chris' Point of view]
Ok, so as I rested on the tree, I felt a something strange.
No, not strange because I already felt like this before.
The Girl appeared from the rose bushes, holding her weapon with no sense of hostility.
She started walking her way to the tree I'm resting on.
So I started greeting her.
"Hello." I said.
She twitched a little, maybe because I suddenly spoke out of the blue.
But I felt a bit of relief from her, knowing that I'm something that can be talked to.
"Ummm, who are you?" The girl asked.
I stood at the branch, my left hand holding it, jumped backwards and landed with two feet.
"My name's Chris." I replied.
"Ok." She said then.
...
...
A brief silence filled between the two people.
"Is there something?" I asked.
"Ah, yeah... I was asking what kind of person you are, not just your name." She replied with a great tone of curiosity.
"Well, now that you're affiliated with me, I'm an Apex Predator." I said.
As I said that, her curiosity became even powerful that it overwhelmed her sense of fear and distrust.
"Ohh, an Apex Predator, what is that?"
"Story Time everyone!" I announced.
So, 20 years ago... A novelist called Curupo, wrote a book about supernatural beings, one of those were the Apex Predators, although it didn't show that much of an presence in his book, that is the most interesting creatures he ever made. As the great writer's death came. Many of his followers tried to summon or create these kinds of creatures, none of them succeeded.
There's a one guy named Koatl, which is the thousandth generation of the son of Azula, noticed the small feat the mortal world has made.
As he gets curious about the said creature, he made one himself and succeeded, and thus gives the birth of Apex Predators.
"But how did they multiply? Is there some kind of ritual that probably made of Apex Predators like you?" The young girl asked.
"No." I replied
As they only exists in someone's mind, a slight imagination of a simple being can give birth to a lots and more powerful Apex Predators, Like me, for example.
I existed because someone thought about me, that makes me feel good, however it might take a bad turn when it comes to Rage, Violence, and Hatred.
"Oh, but how did you exist?" The young girl asked.
"You. And my clan." I said.
As we exchanged words for an hour.
She looked at the horizon over the hill.
So I raised my hand horizontally over the horizon, the palm facing towards me. I checked how much times is left before dusk.
"2 hours." I muttered.
"What is it?" The young girl asked.
"You should probably head home." I said to her, as I prepared myself for heading back to the valley.
"Oh, and also..." I took a small bag hanging at the branch.
I looked inside and took one rock sugar, and closed it.
"Here." I threw the bad to her, and she catched it pretty good.
"What is this?" She asked.
"Crystallized sugar, as a thank you for making my existence and talking to me, and not being hostile." I said to her giving in an extra gratitude seasonings.
"Oh, thanks... By the way, my name is Erin, 2nd princess of the Wheatacre kingdom. It's an honor meeting you." She bowed gracefully.
"It's an honor meeting you too." I bowed and went on our separate ways.
And thus, the sun has set.
