In a dark clearing, a blond-haired teen slowly sat up, his hands cradling his head as if he were in pain.
The youth's body was very well-muscled and it was hard to find any imperfections on it, but if one looked hard you could see light scars littering the boy's body.
Slowly, the teen took his hands away from his head and looked around in disbelief, "They weren't bullshitting me? I actually got sent to another world? Hahaha!" the disbelief only lasted a few seconds as joy spread across the boy's handsome features.
This peculiar teen was called Takuya and he was what you call a Serial Killer. He was 17 and ever since his 14th birthday, he'd killed a single person every month in a particularly brutal way.
He didn't have a particular reason for why he killed or why he started, just that he desired to kill others and that when he turned 14 he'd finally become fully prepared in both body and technique. There wasn't much else to it, Takuya was just a twisted individual.
He'd racked up 36 kills and on the 36th the police had been tipped off and arrived at the location of the murder as he was cleaning up the evidence. He hadn't much choice but to follow them - they had guns and knew he was an armed serial killer, if he didn't come with them he'd have been shot.
Luckily he lived in Japan and he was clever enough not to charge at a group of armed men, so he was taken back to a police station and thrown in an interrogation room.
As Takuya sat there and wondered about what was gonna happen to him, a man in black entered the room and without saying anything else, gave Takuya a proposition - Eat this pill and go to Genesis, he then explained some stuff to Takuya who was slightly confused.
In the end, Takuya took the pill, and why wouldn't he? He didn't have much else to choose from - prison for the rest of his life is the best option and capital punishment being the only other option. So he took a risk.
Either the pill would do what was said or it was a poison of some kind and he'd die. Or, nothing would happen. Takuya didn't know, he just felt that it was worth the risk.
And that's how he ended up where he was right now.
"Haha!" Takuya continued to laugh with a manic grin on his face before he slowly calmed down, "Wow! Who'd have thought shit like this could happen, huh?" Takuya slowly stood up and checked his body, "No injuries and I feel like I'm in my top-condition...It'd probably be best to go over the information that old man in black told me..."
With this, Takuya started to walk back and forth with a pondering expression on his face.
A few dozen seconds went by and Takuya finally pieced it all together and wrapped his head around it, "So, I need to kill stuff to gain Biomass and with that Biomass, I can increase my strength...I wonder how I get Biomass though, do I eat my kill? Or is it like EXP in a game?..." Takuya felt the questions in his piling up, "Well, first things first, let's go kill something!" his declaration was followed by a bloodthirsty smile and his deathly white teeth which made him look like some kind of predator.
As he started walking, he heard some rustling to his right and instantly darted toward it, "Found ya~" Takuya's speech seemed to gain a few yelps in return.
Takuya knew something or things were watching him as he paced around, he just didn't feel threatened by them and decided to deal with them after he'd sorted his own head out first.
His red eyes gleamed as he saw what was looking at him. 3 little green men in loincloths, brandishing wooden sticks and rusty daggers but despite how most people would be afraid of these mysterious creatures, Takuya instead saw the fear in their beady black eyes and saw what they were; Prey.
One of the green men fell backward onto his ass and Takuya took the initiative and jumped onto the green man with the efficiency of a pouncing Tiger.
The green man had the breath knocked out of him and Takuya heard a satisfying crack come from the creature's ribs as he landed. He grabbed the midget's hand holding the rusty dagger and easily overpowered the monster's hand and tore the dagger out of its grasp.
With a joyful laugh, Takuya swiped the dagger in the opposite direction and his face was instantly covered in sickly green blood as the green man's throat was split open.
"You must be Goblins, right? You really are worthy of being the trashiest mobs in RPG's!" Takuya's normally handsome smile looked incredibly warped and twisted as his face was covered in blood while looking down at the writhing Goblin.

The other two Goblins looked at Takuya in horror as they stumbled backward but as they saw their dying comrade, they both let out a shrill scream and charged at their enemy.
Takuya, who saw this, chuckled and glided backward away from the slowly dying Goblin and out of the way of the attacks aimed at him. This caused both of the attacking Goblins to become flustered and hurriedly try to stop their attacks.
Alas, they did but they'd wasted a lot of energy doing so and weren't prepared for what came next.
Takuya charged the nearest Goblin and thrust the dagger in the malnourished chest of the creature. Surprisingly, the dagger broke when it was fully inserted into the Goblin, temporarily leaving Takuya defenseless.
Seeing this, the other Goblin quickly recovered and charged at Takuya's back thrusting it's pointed stick at seemingly unguarded spine.
"What are you trying to do, little guy?" Takuya laughed as he swiftly turned around and grabbed the stick before it could pierce him, "Wait. Were you trying to kill little ol' me?" the Goblin, as if it understood him, instantly started to shake in fear and it's shaking looked similar to it denying the accusation.
Takuya smirked before taking the Goblins legs out from under it and tore the stick away from the creature's weak grasp. He spun the stick around and slammed it into the surprisingly weak skull of the Goblin.
"Hm, I know I said it before but these guys really have trash-level power~" Takuya's constant smile became slightly stiff as he saw something in front of him.
[You have gained 75 Biomass]
[As you are an unranked entity, your Biomass from this kill has been multiplied by 10]
[Would you like to use your Biomass?]
Takuya looked as if he'd found a goldmine, "So, you're saying that if I continue to kill these suckers when I haven't used Biomass to upgrade myself, I get 10 times the amount?" his smile disappeared before Takuya keeled over laughing.
"Well that settles it then, I need to find more of these guys before I use the Biomass...Hm?" As Takuya was becoming excited, he felt something weird throughout his entire body. He felt weirdly full and then it struck him, "The Biomass is being held inside my body? Shit, so there's a limit? Ahh, everything's got a fucking catch nowadays..." Takuya's smile had vanished, replaced by a scowl but he still walked over to the Goblin he'd stabbed in the chest and picked up its rusty dagger.
Looking at the rusty dagger and bloodied stick, Takuya's scowl didn't get any better and he started to cautiously creep into the forest surrounding him.
He wasn't scared of the Goblins - he was pretty sure a well-developed 10-year-old could take one of those out - no, he was scared of there being things stronger than Goblins around, and if this world was anything similar to a fantasy world, there would definitely be stronger things than Goblins around.
Hence his sneaky behavior.
It didn't take long for Takuya to find another small group of 3 Goblins and it took even less for him to wipe the floor with them gaining him another 750 Biomass. With this, he felt as full as you would if you'd engorged yourself on a buffet for a few hours. This obviously wasn't comfortable and from the slight bulging of his body, Takuya knew he was on thin ice.
But due to their being no pain, Takuya knew he could do it once more and see whether he could do it again.
He knew he was being unreasonable and impulsive but Takuya embodied those things when he found something he found interesting, so he didn't really care too much about it.
And so the cycle started, albeit a short one, as he found and killed two more groups of Goblins.
"Jesus...fucking Christ!" Takuya's body was now bloated by a noticeable amount and his veins were wiggling on the surface and his eyes were bloodshot because of the tearing pain currently cascading throughout his body, "Need...to use that fucking Biomass...now!"
[Would you like to use the 3000 Biomass you have stored? Y/N]
Takuya rolled his eyes and swore at the screen with a growl in his voice, "Yes, I would like to use the biomass currently tearing my fucking body apart!" seeing nothing happen, Takuya jabbed his finger into the 'Y' and instantly a new screen appeared.
[What do you wish to become? What do you think is the ultimate form for this world and what would be the ultimate power? Anything is possible through Biomass so do not worry about your request being denied]
"Arghhh!" Takuya yelled in annoyance at the delay and the increase in pain but he soon suppressed his annoyance and also suppressed the feelings of pain from his body and thought about what he wanted to become.
He thought about what he'd always wanted to become.
It didn't take long before Takuya mischievously grinned, "Well, do you need to ask? I want to assume the perfect form for a Killer, an Apex Predator, something above the prey in both strength and mentality! If everything in this world can die, surely the creature best at killing would have to be the strongest, right?" Takuya's voice was dripping with savagery and barbarity as a manic smile was etching its way across his face.
But the screen didn't care that it was in front of a very sick individual, no, it was a screen, so it just carried on with its business.
[The player's answer has been taken, commencing the Mutation and the imbuing of the System]
Takuya was momentarily surprised, "Wait, player? Doesn't that mean there are others...?" but before he could think any further, a red and white substance seeped out of his pores and covered his body in a cocoon that seemed unbreakable.
Takuya was sent to sleep inside the cocoon but as his vision drifted away, he could feel the magnificent changes happening in his body.
