Shyria, a world beyond measure. If one were able to look upon its entirety they would be amazed at its scale. They would also notice that the the world is surprisingly almost equally shared between water and land, with three massive continents of land and a series of great islands bunched together in the southern oceans. Every bit of land is filled with forests, deserts, plains, hills, and mountains like any other place.

There is also life in Shyria. When you go to the forests you see many different trees, insects, and all manner of beasts. When you trek the deserts, you see many different colors of sand and reptiles. The plains have many different grasses and the wind can travel for days. The hills are sprinkled with flowers in colors and hues that would make one's head spin. The mountains jet up into the skies, with the peaks hidden mysteriously in the clouds. The many breathtaking views one could see in this one world alone, would take many lifetimes to experience.

And within this massive picturesque there exist the races. Groups of people with different features and cultures, who live off the world. These races can be divided into two states: Immortal and Mortal. The Mortals can be further divided into five races: The Dwarves, The Knoc, The Faerie, The Beastmen, and The Humans. The Immortals consist of four races: The Demons, The Dragons, The Elementals, and The Elves. The Five Mortal races make up the majority of intelligent life on Shyria. In almost any region you find there will be a races of people making there way there.

The Dwarves typically make their homes in the mountainous or hilly regions. They are a short and stout people who love to dig in the earth for precious ores. They are a plentiful and joyful people who revel in drink and song in their free time. Though when they are threatened, they can be quite fearsome. They worship Shyria and the Dragons.

The Knoc are a mysterious people who live in tribes centered around places of power. The Knoc are without eyes and are entirely mute; They make up for this with an innate telepathic and sensory ability which helps them communicate with the world and people.  They are a people who value connections and they attune themselves to the world. They worship Shyria and the Elementals.

The Faerie are small, winged, magical creatures that are born from nature itself. Faerie are inquisitive creatures who are not directly corporeal. They wield magic, and have a higher capacity for knowledge, to which they always try gather. As a whole they are the shortest lived race, but are able to pass on their knowledge and memories to offspring. They worship Shyria only.

The Beastmen come in many shapes and sizes and are defined from the fact that they will have any degree of physical features reminiscent of animals. The Beastmen are a broad race who make up the most of the mortal population. Their interests typically coincide with the traits that come from animals. Depending on where they are found they worship Shyria, The Demons, The Dragons, The Elves, or the Elementals.

The Humans are the most balanced of the mortal races. Due to their lack of innate mechanisms they are a people who are able to learn or adapt over time. They tend to spend their time pursuing the thing that piques their interest, whether it be knowledge, strength, magic or trade. They worship Shyria, The Elves, and the Dragons.

The Immortal races are known by many names ( The Immortals, The Four, Daevah ). They are the pinnacle of existence in Shyria, the only thing besides the World that doesn't disappear. Immortals are the beings overflowing in Vitality and Power, and can not be killed except by obliteration. They are The Demons, The Dragons, The Elves, and The Elementals.

The Demons are a group of races who have an intense and vicious features. There are many species that make up the Demons, and most of them are militaristic. The Demons are the rulers of their continent which lies in the eastern half of the world, and have a presence in every continent.  They have a cunning personality.

The Dragons are an intelligent race of colossal reptiles with extreme pride. Most will have four legs, while some will have the bodies of serpents and almost all have wings. They have a wide variety of possible abilities, such as fire breathe, ice breathe, magic, or even teleportation.They are few in number and have a presence on every continent, though the Eastern most continent houses their breeding ground. They abhor to the Elementals and will only be roused into action when the Elementals act. They enjoy shiny objects and gold.

The Elementals are omnipresent beings who strive to keep the balance of the world. The Elementals are made up of one or a mix of the basic elements, (Fire, water, earth, wind, darkness, light) who are few in number. They are in an aggressive stance against The Dragons, who think they are the supreme beings and will only get involved in worldly matters when balance in threatened. The Elementals are willing to communicate with mortals.

The Elves are a beautiful, elegant people who only live in the massive forest within the Middle massive continent. They are gatherers of wisdom and magic, who steward the forest and help supplement the mortal races they have contact with. Out of the Four races of immortals they are the ones who have the most contact with mortals.
