Chapter one: Ending of the world

“Now what will you do, King of nothing? Antithesis of fate and many more titles I don't care to name”. The bounty hunter stood above it, her blond hair swinging in the air slowly in a hypnotic manner.

Coughing something similar but not exactly blood the demon of fate laughed and a coughing grating noise came out.grinning The entity spoke “Ahahahahahhah ha ha ohh man you finally caught me how many centuries did that take you my love?

“This love you speak of, who do you refer to?” she coughed “Because surely you're not referring to me, I have never met you before this moment. The only reason I'm here is for your head nothing else nothing more”.

“Och so harsh how could you treat me like this after all the time we spent together?” Smiling a hand reaved of darkness taken physical shape in the world.

“Actually I have one more trick under my boot or whatever the saying is?”

“Might I ask what that is?”

“Oh you may” He didn’t bother to elaborate, rather sparks appeared around him as a soft black light glowed in his chest taking form and rising like a bomb under his skin.

“One item the catalyst gave me was to reverse my life. I will not remember a thing but I will live! Cackling in its head!

Oh man did i just say that outloud how awkward”

Just then with a flash of white light appeared it was the Chrono Ouroboros pendant. Its texture was rough and scaly yet it had an almost polished look to it.

The bounty hunter summoned a revolver and aimed for the entity's head but it was too late. The World shook as time turned back farther and farther and farther.

Until it didn’t.

Divine Primordial Essence Unlocked.

Achievement Unlocked

[Tier: Eternal Darkness]

----------------------------------------

Description: Upon unlocking the Divine Primordial Essence, the user now taps into an ancient and boundless power that originates from the deepest corners of existence itself. This essence is beyond the comprehension of mortals and grants the bearer abilities tied to eternal darkness, the void. It is the essence that fuels existence and obliteration simultaneously, carrying the weight of eons and the potential for god-like influence over all forms of life and death.

Abilities

Darkness of the Abyss

Description: The user can summon and control darkness from the depths of the void to act as both weapons and shields. This darkness can take any form, including tendrils, weapons, or even sentient beings.

Effect: The user can manifest and manipulate darkness to attack, defend, or entrap enemies. The darkness are intangible and can phase through walls, making them difficult to block. They grow more powerful in darkness and can overwhelm weaker enemies in numbers.

Eternal Grasp

Description: The user can reach into the very fabric of existence and seize the souls of others, pulling them into a limbo-like void where they are trapped.

Effect: The user can temporarily imprison an opponent’s soul, rendering them immobile and preventing them from using their abilities for a brief period (5-10 seconds). The longer the soul is held, the more mental strain it places on the target, weakening their will to fight.

Voidwalker’s Curse

Description: The user can place a curse on an individual or object, drawing upon the dark energies of the void to wither and decay anything touched by the curse.

Effect: Once cursed, the target will slowly lose vitality, experiencing physical and mental decay. The curse affects both living beings (causing them to age and weaken) and inanimate objects (rotting, rusting, or breaking down over time). The curse can be removed by a powerful divine or arcane source, but only through great effort.

DESCENT OF SILENCE

* Description: The user can temporarily dull the senses of those around them, causing a brief period of disorientation.

* Effect: The user can emit a wave of void energy that muffles sound and clouds the vision of enemies in a small radius. This effect lasts for about 5 seconds, making it difficult for enemies to track movements or respond to attacks. However, it does not completely disable their senses, so skilled enemies can still react with some difficulty.

[Heart of the father]

Type

[Amulet]

Description

[Forged from the divine essence of Darian, the Heart of the Father is a powerful amulet created out of an eternal love for a child. In a moment of despair, the Father sought a way to preserve the life of his beloved child, granting him the strength to survive beyond mortal bounds. This amulet was imbued with a unique ability — the power to transfer souls and possess bodies — a gift of immortality without the curse of eternal solitude that haunted the Father himself. The Heart of the Father grants its wielder the ability to possess others by entering reflective surfaces, forever changing their fate, while ensuring that the soul of the host is destroyed beyond return. A child, loved too deeply to perish, now carries the Father's greatest gift — the power to live on through others, without the Father's own tragic flaw.]

You’re being dropped into a twisted prehistoric wilderness, packed with creatures straight out of nightmares—massive, clawed beasts who see you as nothing but prey. And it’s not just the dinos you’ll have to worry about; there are other challengers on the island, each one as desperate as you to survive and make it through the trials. The island’s dangers will push every skill, every power, and every ounce of resilience you’ve got.

Shaking his head he was heading back to shore slowly the waves were choppy and unruly. It was a huge island that was vast he couldn’t even see the end of it. In his point of view it had no end to its horizon.

Diving under the water his eyes didn’t flinch from the salt water using primordial essence enhancement which was a subset of abilities he can do. From what he figured out that if he didn’t use his ability rather he could enhance his body instead.

Looking down his eyes bugged out.

“No fucking way… What the hell… This this..” Niko thought. Would have groaned if he wasn’t underwater. Below Niko was a huge creature. Its maw, lined with jagged rows of teeth, seemed endless, built to shear through flesh and bone. Its eyes, dark and unfeeling, watched with the cold precision of a creature evolved purely to hunt. Its massive form cut through the water like a silent blade, each movement slow yet terrifyingly efficient, evoking an ancient, relentless hunger that could consume anything in its path.

It was a fucking megladon! Niko was trying to swim quicker; his splashing just worsened the situation. He was almost at the shore but it would still take him more then a few minutes for him to reach it.

Niko’s muscles screamed as he pushed himself harder, his lungs burning as he desperately tried to propel himself faster through the water. The shore was just there, tantalizingly close, but he could almost feel the megalodon’s icy gaze tracking his every move, calculating the perfect moment to strike.

He dared a look back. Bad idea. The massive creature was closing in, its jaws yawning open to reveal rows of teeth gleaming in the murky blue. Panic surged through him, and he gathered every ounce of his primordial essence, forcing himself to move even faster.

He felt the water shift and churn and then nothing?

He was swallowed by the damn thing!

Inside the monster’s stomach, everything burned. Niko’s skin felt like it was boiling, melting off to reveal bone as the creature’s acidic bile worked him down. His mind screamed at the pain, his survival instincts kicking into overdrive. He had one shot at this.

He gathered his remaining essence, channeling it into a desperate, concentrated explosion. Darkness erupted from him, swirling with raw energy, carving out a protective barrier against the acid. Gritting his teeth, he formed jagged spears of darkness and rammed them into the thick stomach walls, clawing for freedom.

Then… silence.

The acid tore deeper, consuming him bit by bit as he fought, flailed, but it was hopeless. His vision blurred, the darkening edges creeping inward until all he saw was nothing. Every effort, every ounce of energy, it all faded as he slipped away in the pitch-black depths of the beast’s belly.

Dead.
