"I-I LIKE YOU! WILL YOU PLEASE BE MY GIRLFRIEND!?"
In an isolated area in a public park, the ground covered in a mosaic of leaves, the trees lining a pathway of a kaleidoscope of red, orange and yellow leaves, ablaze with the fiery hues of the season. The air carried a scent of fallen leaves and the faint smell of bonfires in the distance.
At the centre of the park, a pristine pond reflected the vibrant foliage as ducks and geese glided gracefully across the water. Near the pond beneath a tall graceful tree with slender branches adorned with clusters of delicate flowers in shades of pink. The flowers themselves were frilly and abundant, resembling crepe paper, hence its name "Crape Myrtle".
There I was with my right arm stretched, grasping a rose in my hand in front of the most beautiful girl I've ever met. She had long silky smooth naturally magenta coloured hair, captivating dark blue eyes, pristine skin, around the same height as me, but I can't forget her most admirable features: her beautiful H cup sized breasts, her thick sexy thighs concealed beneath her black leggings and her sweet fruity aroma that makes me want to bust every time I smell it.
Absolutely stunning. I never imagined I would build up the courage to confess my feelings to this model after 4 years of admiring her from a distance. At that moment my mind was flooded with many thoughts like, how the one year age gap between us could cause her to reject me(she was 18 and I am 17) or the fact that this girl is well known for rejecting many dudes in my school, including the male teachers. This girl's name was Rose, a beautiful flower but painful when not handled correctly.
My heart was racing like a supercar, my face was slowly transitioning to a red-ish hue, my eyelids pressed against each other for dear life to avoid my eyes exploding from her beauty as I eagerly awaited her reply.
My heart skipped a beat as I peeled open my eyes to see her taking a breath, preparing to give me a reply.
The sun began to dip below the horizon, the sky was painted with hues of pink and gold, casting a warm glow over the park. The flicker of lanterns and the soft glow of streetlights illuminated the pathways to guide visitors on their evening stroll.
Here it was the answer I have been waiting for.
"I-".
Before Rose could utter a complete word, a white flash of light engulfed our forms from beneath our feet.
"What!?"I exclaimed in confusion.
I gazed at Rose, witnessing her also being consumed by the light. A few seconds before everything around us changed, I noticed a gush of wind lift her skirt high enough for me to see something that I could only thank any supernatural force, commanding the air for allowing me to gaze upon this sacred relic.
"It's Pink".
My vision was blurry. I could hardly hear anything but an ear piercing sound that placed my ear drums on the verge of bursting, I couldn't feel my limbs either, I wasn't in pain so that means I'm not injured, at least I hope that's the case. I better not wake up in some science lab with a crazy old dude doing experiments on me while yelling that it's in the name of science.
My vision started to become more clear as I was able to make out the colours and I was able to flex my muscles enough to move my fingers. Once everything was clear and I had my full strength which unfortunately came with a splitting headache. What I beheld was something very foreign to me.
"What the hell?" I commented.
In front of me was nothing but a misty mass number of destroyed buildings, ruble all over the floor and…water?
The floor was wet, the water level was not too high but it did make my uniform slightly wet,I'm guessing this came from the mist if that's how mist works. I gazed at the destroyed buildings noticing that they look nothing like the usual glass window infested skyscrapers and what not. They seemed pretty old, almost medieval style. My curiosity piqued as I closely observed the damaged buildings, I noticed the damage didn't look like something that was caused by construction workers. They mostly looked like the aftermath of a huge battle, a war?,terrorist attack? Whatever it was they did a huge number to this place like damn I bet a lot of people died…Wait?
"WHERE THE FUCK AM I!?" I yelled.
"Mmmh".
"HYA!?". I screamed
The sound of someone groaning behind me startled me. My heart skipped a beat. I turned my head over my shoulder to face the source of the groaning.
"Rose?". I said.
Slowly lifting herself up from the floor and rubbing her eyes as if she just woke up from a bad dream was the stunning beauty I confessed my love to. Rose took a glance at me after turning her head around to gaze at the surroundings.
In an instant, Rose quickly examined herself. Inspecting her uniform, pockets and other things I will not say and proceeded to take a few steps away from me as she crossed her arms in front of her chest.
"W-where am I? What's going on? What is this place? Did you do something to me?"She interrogated
I was confused by her reaction, she acted as if I took advantage of her in her sleep. She treated me like some kind of criminal but I let it slip past my mind as I took the time to calm her down.
"D-don't worry I didn't do anything, I'm not that kind of guy and besides I'm just as confused as you are."
A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.
"What is this place and what was that flash of light, weren't we in the park just a moment ago." she asked.
Rose asked me a lot of questions with a clear tone of worry and fear, she was clearly uncomfortable but she seemed more uncomfortable with being near me. Maybe she's playing hard to get. Wherever we were, it felt too real to be a dream. I started to think of many possibilities to the cause of our situation. Bright flash of light, random destroyed buildings with a medieval style, I looked at the sky and noticed.
"four moons? I acknowledged
The sky was dark, there were many stars in the sky but these stars were moving, every single one of them. The four moons each had their own distinct colour, one red,one yellow, one green and one purple.
Medieval style buildings, the bright flash of light that came out of nowhere, four uniquely coloured moons and moving stars.
"NO WAY!?". I yelled, my voice echoed through the empty expanse of destroyed buildings which startled Rose causing her to take a few more steps away from me.
"What happened?" she asked.
"WE HAVE BEEN TELEPORTED ACROSS THE UNIVERSE TO ANOTHER WOOOOORLD!!"
***
Unlike me, Rose isn't an anime fan which means she isn't familiar with the isekai sub-genre so I explained to her the simple stuff, like reincarnation, overpowered main characters and…harems...scratched that I didn't tell her about harems.
"we've been ee-se-ka-aed?" Rose mispronounced.
I was slightly annoyed by her many failed attempts to say it but I would forget about it every time I looked at her pretty face. While I was explaining to her the basics of the sub-genre, we both decided to explore the surroundings to find someone or something that could help us.
Rose still continued to keep her distance from me. Man, she wants me to try that hard to get in her pants huh? It doesn't exactly put me off but I'm not the best at getting along with someone since I never had any…
Anyway, Rose was pretty doubtful of my claims but oh well as long as we were stuck there she would believe me eventually. I also remembered that she didn't reply to my confession, well it was actually interrupted but still.
"What happened to this place?" Rose asked as her eyes dotted at the destroyed buildings.
"Looks like some kind of war took place or something like that?" I answered.
We began to discuss the possibility that we might be in an abandoned town. Rose also noticed the 4 moons and the moving stars, she made a facial expression that expressed disbelief and surprise. She rubbed her forehead as she shook her head, she even pinched cheek. I'm sure you know what that means.
I was getting bored of the conversation. I decided to ask Rose
for her reply to my confession. I know this was probably the worst time but why not?, my heart wouldn't stop beating. I took a deep breath and readied myself to ask her.
"Hey-."
"Let's split up." Rose said, completely cutting off my sentence.
"We might be able to find some help or atleast a place to rest."
I was pretty dumbfounded by her composure, most non-anime fans would be freaking out right now. Now I want her even more.
"O-ok." I accepted.
Rose and I went into two opposite directions and took two pieces of wood from the debris just in case we ran into trouble. I had doubts but still went along with it.

A couple minutes passed by as I was strolling through the area. I finally confirmed that the place was an abandoned town. It was pretty hard to see through the mist since it got thicker the longer I explored the town. Not to mention that the water level was rising all the way to a third of my lower leg, the air became cooler but what surprised me the most about this place was the markings I saw on some of the buildings that resembled claw and bite marks.
"Creepy" I commented.
Curiosity got the best of me as I took a closer look at the marks. They were huge. Just what kind of a behemoth of a monster did the people that used to live in this town have to fight or more logically, run away from.
The sound of rumbling erupted from behind my back
"Woah!?" I yelled in shock.
It was just a pile of debris falling apart. That gave me a heart attack. For one second there I thought there was a monster behind me. I wished I wasn't so correct.
A figure erupted from the fallen pile of debris.
"What the!?"
The figure had a humanoid silhouette so I assumed it was another person. I walked towards the figure but quickly halted as I got a good glimpse at who, or more like "what" I was looking at.
The figure didn't look like a human or any fantasy race I've seen in games or anime. This things skin was grey, it had red glowing eyes and long sharp claws.
"I-is that a monster?". I asked.
As I took a closer look I also noticed red liquid pouring from the creature's mouth. Honestly, I should've expected this, of course the first place I spawn in is an abandoned town that looks like it got ravaged by monsters.
Too afraid to know what would've happened if I interacted with the creature, I took a silent step back. Unfortunately, the sound of my foot stepping on a puddle of water caused the creature to instantly twist its neck to face me.
"Eeeek!" I screeched like chipmunk.
That was the creepiest thing I had ever seen and to make matters worse the creature started walking towards me. My whole body began to shake uncontrollably as my heart started to beat at lightning speed. I was clearly afraid, afraid that I might die…a virgin.
A thought came to my mind when I realised something. If I got teleported to another world like an isekai then that means there's magic which also means-
"I'm an overpowered isekai protagonist."
I felt determined as if all the fear I had felt just a few seconds ago instantly disappeared. With sheer confidence, I removed my blazer and tied it around my hip as I began to slowly approach the creature.
As I got closer to the creature I began to feel the fear returning to me. I found it odd that I suddenly returned to being afraid right after getting pumped up, it must've been that thing's magic power. Despite my heart being consumed with fear I still pushed forward.
You want to know why?
I clenched my fists tightly as I began to dash towards the creature while raising my fist into a punching position as I yelled loudly like an anime character when they're about to use their final move. Because-
"I'm going to get a HAREEEEEEM!!"

Rose pov:
"He's finally gone." I sighed with relief.
I know I'm going to come off as a bad person but I couldn't bear spending a single second being near him. Listening to him ramble on about his "is-ae-kay" anime stuff. He came off as a bit delusional.
I suggested that we split up so we could explore the area, that was just an excuse to get away from him but now that I think about it, that was a bad idea. Unlike me, he was really calm and seemed confident, a bit too confident.
As I walked through the empty streets of the abandoned town, I came across a picture frame covered in debris. Out of curiosity I decided to remove the dirt pile from the picture frame.
"What?"
To my disappointment the picture was torn in half. It seemed to be a painting since it had dry paint brush strokes on its details. The picture seemed to be a painting of an adult man and a young girl. She looked around 2-3 years old, the man was carrying her in his arms like a baby. Judging from how the man was holding the child I assumed that this was a painting of a father and daughter. Weird, they both have red eyes and black hair, the fathers ears are long but the daughters ears are short and pointy. Are they even humans?
I took a moment to look at how happy the father and daughter looked together.
"Ugh! Why is this happening to me?I just want to go home and sleep." I complained.
Based on…um what was that boy's name? Well it's his fault for not introducing himself to me before suddenly pulling out a rose and screaming his confession to me.I can't imagine myself being with someone like that honestly. Anyway, based on that boys "theory" whoever brought us here must be some kind of deity which means that they can hear my thoughts right now. If that's the case then-
FUCK YOU!!
A sound similar to an explosion erupted one second after I said that.
"Eeeep!" I squealed.
The sound came from the same direction that boy went. Even though I hardly knew the boy and I didn't trust him in the slightest, the thought of being left alone in this place, I know nothing about with no clue on how to get back home scared me. I took the piece of wood from the debris out of my pocket. The wooden piece was wet, it felt soft and a bit squishy but it was sharp at the very least.
I took off. I ran past many buildings as I endlessly searched for the path where we both separated. Luckily I found it and ran down the path the boy went.
Come to think of it didn't the boy mention something about monst-
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!" an ear piercing scream erupted from down the path.
My body flinched with fear, my heart began to beat unnaturally fast. I was scared. I considered running away and abandoning the boy if he got attacked by someone or something, either way I didn't want to die but…
"Damn it" I cursed at myself.
I dashed down the path where the scream erupted as the closer I got to the destination, the more claw marks I began to see around the area. I hoped I wouldn't regret this decision.
"Agh!!" I heard the voice coming from the corner of a nearby building.
I quickly made a turn towards the corner and called out to the voice.
"Hey! Are you oka-?" I muttered.
In front of my eyes was a scene I hoped I would only ever see in movies, a traumatic scene that made my heart skip a beat.
On the floor was the boy laying on top of a pool of blood while holding on to his hip that's leaking with his blood with a clearly terrified look on his face. Towering over his body was a skinny, grey skinned creature you would only ever see in horror movies, I noticed was trickling down its nails.
"OH MY!?" I screamed as a sudden wave of fear washed all over my body, causing me to shake uncontrollably.
The boy noticed my presence and quickly stretched out his hand towards me in a desperate plea for survival.
"Please! HELP ME!!"
