The Agents and military secured the hangar quickly. As Agents came over to the President, he stood and said, “We’re going to move this conversation to a more secure location; follow along, please.”
The Secret Service surrounded the group and led them out to the back of the hangar, where The Beast was waiting with a few SUVs. The President, Mrs. Ellison, and Felix went into the first car while Caitlyn and he were placed in the SUV directly behind them. The vehicles pulled away, made their way off the Air Force Base, and made their way onto 495 westbound. Ten minutes later, they turned north onto Highway 1. When they came to the Pentagon and White House turnoff at Highway 395, the front of the convoy turned north while their vehicle and two others took the offramp that would lead into the Pentagon.
“Where are we going?” Anton asked.
“To the Pentagon, where we are going to ask you a few questions.” The guard in the back seat with them said as he casually drew his weapon and pointed it at Anton
“That is a terrible idea,” Caitlyn said.
“No one asked you. Now sit there and shut up before you become someone we also need to take a closer look at.”
“Yep, that was a bad idea,” Anton said as he activated Specter and vanished from the backseat of the vehicle.
Immediately, he reached out and touched the focused energy of the Secret Service member and activated Possession. The Agent's will was almost nonexistent compared to Anton's. Anton slipped into the Agent’s body, which now held a gun pointed at Caitlyn.
Caitlyn, responding to a question Anton hadn’t heard, asked, “How am I supposed to know where he went? If your President has talked with Felix, then you have been warned about Anton’s capabilities. If you haven’t been warned, well, it sucks to be you.”
“Sucks to us,” The other Secret Service member said as he pulled out a taser and shot the prongs into Caitlyn’s chest.
Anton sighed at the Possessed body he wore and said, “That was a very bad idea.” Anton and the Agent watched Caitlyn, who was not affected by the Taser in any way, pull the prongs from her chest and fling them at the Agent who had shot her with the Taser.
“Caitlyn, I’m controlling this idiot. Here, take his gun,” Anton said as he handed the gun to Caitlyn, deactivated Possession, and targeted the driver with Possession. Again, he easily took over the mind of the body he was trying to possess. Once in control, Anton veered the car to the side of the road and stopped the SUV. Anton took a pair of handcuffs the driver had on his belt and locked his wrists to the steering wheel as the other Secret Service member in the passenger seat beside him asked, “What are you doing?”
“Locking myself to the steering wheel. What does it look like I’m doing?” Anton said.
The Agent in the passenger seat looked at him like he was speaking nonsense, which he was. Anton ended his Possession of the Driver and took Possession of the Agent in the Passenger seat. A quick look showed Anton that Caitlyn had the Agent's firearm aimed at him while the Agent with the Taser was currently electrocuting himself and would continue to do so because his finger had locked on the trigger.
Before she could do anything stupid, Anton called back, “Caitlyn, it’s Anton. Don’t shoot these idiots. Also, I’m going to pass you another two guns, so don’t shoot this guy either.”
“What? Anton? What are you doing?”
“It’s a new skill, Something I picked up when the SYSTEM Reset. We’ll talk later. Right now, I want to remove these idiot's ability to hurt us, so hold on.”
Anton passed both guns into the back seat. The Agent Caitlyn was covering shifted.
“I wouldn’t do that if I were you,” Anton said as he passed the guns back to Caitlyn, “Sub-Commander Sheppard can’t miss you from this distance, and she knows she will not hurt me if she shoots. The only people that will be injured or killed will be the Agent I’m controlling and you, so just sit there if you would please.”
Anton watched as the Agent settled back into his seat. He turned around and handcuffed himself to the steering wheel with the driver. Next, he released Possessions and then Specter so he could reappear beside Caitlyn. The extra guns he had passed back were added to his inventory, which made the guard who wasn’t acting like he was a bug on a bug zapper’s eyes widen. One moment, the weapons were there; the next, they were gone.
Anton smiled at the agent and then reached over and pulled one of the taser prongs from the second Agent's chest. While not immune to electricity like Caityln seemed to be, his willpower and endurance were high enough that the taser did not affect him. Anton held onto it while he touched his holstered weapon and added it to his inventory before he could recover. Then he reached over, pulled the taser from his right hand, and added it to his inventory as well.
The Agent under Caitlyn’s gun spoke up, “There are twelve agents surrounding this vehicle. Drop your weapon and come with us quietly.”
“I’ve got this, Caitlyn,” Anton said before Caitlyn could respond. Anton looked at the Agent and then continued, “I thought you all were college-educated, NOT a question. I do not have any weapons, and in a moment, neither will your fellow Agents.”
Before the Agent could give a warning through his communication device, Anton acted. Anton kicked the door open with his full strength, which broke the door off of the SUV. Anton wasn’t the Flash, not even close. What he could do was move up to 228 feet per second and make up to 17 attacks in a single 10-second turn if necessary. His first attack was to kick out the door with the strength to lift a ton. Next, he moved to an Agent, disarmed him, and stored the weapon in his inventory. Placing items into his inventory didn’t count as an attack, which allowed him to disarm and confiscate the weapons of each of the twelve Secret Service Agents around the SUV. When he was done, he was back in his seat, sitting next to Caitlyn, and the Agents were either on the ground unconscious or had a broken arm and were bringing their other arm to support the broken limb. He hadn’t been a blur, but he’d moved faster than any of them could have reacted.
From his sitting position next to Caitlyn, Anton could hear multiple cries of pain and shock from outside the vehicle as the Agent across from Caitlyn looked over at Anton with a look of shock on his face, “What are you?”
Anton ignored the question, “Get a message to POTUS. I will be appearing inside the vehicle he is riding in momentarily. I fully expect to see Caitlyn at the White House. When we arrive there. If I do not,” Anton reached over to the frame of the bulletproof vehicle and squeezed. When he pulled his hand back, there was a hand-sized crushed area in the frame. Then, before the Agent could respond, Anton used his Anti-Mage ability to destroy the area where the crushed metal had been. The metal evaporated.
Anton continued, “If Caitlyn is not brought to Felix’s side, I will begin asking questions of everyone I just disarmed. I will be far less gentle than I have been thus far. Now, I’m off to sit down with the President.”
Anton activated Specter and flew after the President’s vehicle. At 70 miles per hour, they were only about half a mile ahead of him when he caught up to “The Beast” or “Cadillac One.” There was a driver and Agent in the forward passenger seat. In the back, the President and Mrs. Ellison sat facing forward. Felix and another agent sat with their backs to the driver and passenger up front.
Anton targeted the Agent and activated Possession. Again, there was almost no resistance as he slid into the Agent's body and looked out of his eyes.
“Say again, Threat imminent,” Anton heard in the Agent’s earpiece. Anton noticed that the Agent's gun was in his right hand and pointed at the floorboard as he looked up and met the President’s eyes.
“Clay, what’s going on?” The President asked.
The question was obviously aimed at the Agent Anton had possessed. Anton holstered the weapon and pulled the earpiece from his ear, “Clay isn’t here right now,” Anton said.
“Clay, what are you talking about? You’re sitting right there,” The President said.
“Clay’s body is here, yes, but I’ve got control of it at this moment, Mr. President.
“Anton?” Felix asked.
“One and the same. Did you tell this idiot what you knew about me, or is he completely in the dark?”
“Idiot? I’ll have you know…” The President started to say.
In a fluid motion, Anton pulled the Agent’s weapon and pointed it at the President’s head, “Shut up.”
“What are you going to do with that gun? Shoot me. You need me.”
Anton holstered the gun as he said, “Actually, I don’t but you will make things easier.”
Anton deactivated his Possession of the Agent, moved over, and Possessed the President.
“What just happened? Where did my weapon go?” Agent Clay asked.
Anton, in the President’s body, looked at Clay. “Clay, are you okay? Your weapon is in your holster. With everything that’s going on, send word that I want to head to the Presidential Emergency Operation Center. I also want to bring Mrs. Ellison and Felix along, as well as Felix’s Sub-Commander Caitlyn, when she arrives.”
“Yes, Mr. President,” Agent Clay said as he tried to make sense of what had just happened.
Mrs. Ellison looked at the Agent and then the President before she asked, “What just happened?”
Felix looked at the Agent, then at The President, and smiled before he said, “I wouldn’t worry about it, Angelica; the President will get it all sorted out once we get back to the White House.
The President smiled, “Yes, we will. We should also be able to talk privately in the Operation Center.”
When they arrived at the White House, armed personnel approached the “The Beast.” Anton, in the President’s Body, was ushered out first, followed by Mrs. Ellison and Felix. They were led to an elevator that descended for quite a bit and opened into the Presidential Emergency Operations Center. Anton allowed himself to be led into one of the meeting rooms just off from the operational side, which was manned by military personnel and looked at the agent who was escorting them. “I’d like a few moments alone with Mrs. Ellison and Felix here. Also, make sure Sub-Commander Sheppard is brought down as soon as she arrives. Rescind my previous order to take her to the Pentagon.”
That Agent responded with a crisp, “Yes, Sir,” and left the meeting room. As he did so, Anton reached into his pockets and pulled out his keys, a beeper, and anything else he was carrying, which he placed on the desk. Next, he patted himself down, put a pen and handkerchief down on the table with his other things, and then pushed them all into a drawer on the table. The President looked at Felix, “Felix, if you’d be so kind as to sit in this seat, I’ll sit at the opposite end of the table.
As Felix moved to sit down, Mrs. Ellison asked, “What is going on?”
“It’ll all be made clear in a moment,” President Cruiger said as he walked over and locked the doors into the meeting room before he took a seat. He quickly checked the seat and the table for emergency buttons on this side of the table but didn’t find any. They were all over where Felix remained quiet and waited. A moment later, Anton released his Possession of The President, moved over to the door nearest to the President, and deactivated Specter.
“What!” Mrs. Ellison shrieked as President Cruiger turned to look where she was looking.
“Where am I? How did I get here?” President Cruiger asked.
“You are in your Presidential Emergency Operations Center under the White House,” Anton said as the President reached for his pocket and then looked around quickly, “I’ve removed everything from your pockets,”
“You removed the items from his pockets?” Mrs. Ellison asked.
“I did,” Anton answered before turning his attention back to President Cruiger.
“Mr. President, Why have you tried to make an enemy of me, especially after an assassination attempt on your life?”
“You are one man; you can be controlled, either personally or through your family”
“Excuse me?” Anton said.
“You heard me, Son. You will do what I say when I say. You will answer all of our questions, or you will….
“You know what, I was prepared to help out; maybe see what I could do to help my fellow Americans prepare for what’s about to happen…”
Anton was cut off when a new SYSTEM Message filled his vision.
SYSTEM Message!
Magical Density has reached 1%
“What was that?” President Cruiger and Mrs. Ellison said in unison.

Felix looked at Anton and then at the President, “I don’t think you should have threatened his family.”
“Yeah, that was a bad idea,” Anton agreed.
“It won’t matter; once you were halfway here, I contacted the military; they’re picking up your family as we speak,” President Cruiger said.
Anton pulled the phone out of his inventory that his father had given him and tossed it to Felix, “Hold onto that until I get back,” Anton said and then went and retrieved the President's phone from the drawer next to Felix before he walked over to the President. He quickly turned the phone’s camera toward the President’s head and was delighted to see that he had set it up for a Face ID. Anton quickly opened up the passcode and face ID settings and changed them. His face could now unlock the phone, and the passcode was his. Then he sent “911 GTG” by text to his father's number.
“You can’t take my phone!” the President cried indignantly
Anton held the phone in his palm so everyone in the room could see it and then put it in his inventory, which caused it to vanish. “I just did. Now, I’m going to go check on my family. Felix, please explain to The President why making an enemy of someone you can’t kill or control would be a very bad idea. I’m sure you’ve had time to ponder that topic.”
Felix nodded to Anton as he activated Specter and vanished before the President could respond. In a moment, he was traveling at his maximum speed back toward Minot. His Psychic Energy was still quite high, but he would have to meditate or rest after he made it back. Could he mediate while possessing someone? Would using meditation replace the mana and Psychic Energy he drew from them? It wouldn’t do anything for their hit points, but he didn’t drain those first anyway. If he could utilize their Psychic Energy, then Mana, and then mediate to recover it…That would be so broken. Also, good luck finding him to arrest him. Anton smiled as he made his way westbound.
Anton hadn’t checked in on his sister Amelia in Fargo, but he probably should have. If she did what she’d done previously, she’d fly her Cessna home. He could stop by her house first, though. She lived in a little housing development on the northeast side of Fargo, less than half a mile from the hangar where she parked her plane.
Anton looked down and saw a town below. He altered his course and decided this would be a perfect opportunity to take a break. It was dark now, but any building would do. He found a bank, saw the bathroom within, and appeared in the men’s bathroom inside a closed stall. He pulled out the President’s phone and sent a text to his Father, “Status? Amelia?”
Anton lifted his feet off the ground and sat cross-legged on the toilet, just in case. Then he activated Battle Mediation and began recovering 41 mana every 10 seconds. His wisdom and willpower were almost high enough to regenerate seven points of his Psychic Energy every 10 seconds or 42 per minute when he wasn’t actively using his Psychic Skills. Unfortunately, he had been using them quite a bit lately. Still, of his 1,250 Psychic Energy, he’d had over 813 left when he sat down. At 42 points per turn, he could recover 420 Psychic Energy, in 10 turns, or just over a minute and 40 seconds. Which was precisely how long it took his Dad to reply. Anton checked the messages on the phone and noted that his father had sent “Unwanted Company, Amelia here”
Anton sent back, “ETA 2 hours,” put the phone back in his inventory, activated Specter, and sped off to the west.
As he sped west, Anton willed himself to go faster. He focused on where he wanted to be and how he was going to get there faster.
Planar Shift Activated
Anton was in a parallel dimension in his Specter Form. He couldn’t activate Planar Shift here, could he?
SYSTEM Message.
Note: Utilization of Planar Shift to move between known locations is significantly less taxing—psychic Energy Cost per use, 10.
A portal didn’t open in front of Anton, nor did he skip to another Dimension like he usually did when he activated Planar Shift. Instead, he was instantly moved to the street outside his father’s house as he watched various law Enforcement Agencies prepare to enter the house. Wow, that President really was stupid.
Anton looked over to a military vehicle where someone with a silver eagle on his shoulder was calling out commands. If he wasn’t mistaken, the individual was a Colonel in the Air Force. Why the Air Force was directing civilian law enforcement was beyond him, and he didn’t care. It wasn’t this Colonel’s fault that the President was a dipshit—still, an example needed to be made. Maybe not a permanent example, but this could be fun.
Anton watched as the teams prepared to move into the house and waited for someone to approach the Colonel. When a lower-ranking airman walked up to hand the Colonel a piece of paper, Anton Possessed her.
“What is it Airman Bennett?” The Colonel asked as Anton handed him the piece of paper Airman Bennett had been holding.
“Colonel, I am Anton. The President probably contacted you and told you to expect me…”
“What is this, Airman Bennett? Is this some kind of joke?” The Colonel asked.
Anton raised his voice, “In a moment, the Colonel is going to shoot himself in the foot and have no memory of doing so. Anyone who so much as steps foot on my father's property will receive a similar lesson.”
The Colonel started to turn red as his anger began to boil over, which was perfect. Anton released Airman Bennett and Possessed The Colonel. Anton drew the Colonel's Gun, aimed at his left foot, and pulled the trigger. Then he called out, “Medic!” before he released him from Possession and returned to Possessing Airman Bennett so he could hear what was said.
Anton watched as the small group of people exploded. It was actually quite funny. The individuals who had been about to enter the house reacted to the gunshot and came to investigate and secure the area while the Colonel looked at the gun in his hand and asked dumbfoundedly, “Who shot me?”
A medic who had been close by walked up and gingerly took the gun from the Colonel's hand, “You shot yourself, Sir. Please sit back.”
The team leader, who had been about to enter the house, asked Anton, “What happened, Airman?”
Anton recognized the two bars on the team leader's Uniform, “Captain, The Colonel was possessed by Anton and shot himself in the foot as I told him he would.
“Excuse me, Airman; You told him he would?”
“Well, yeah. I’m Anton. I’m in possession of this Airman.”
“Airman cut the shit, this is an emergency; well, go over your sense of humor later. What happened to the Colonel?”
Anton considered how to proceed:” Captain, do you have anyone who can speak American Sign Language?”
“Yes, I can.” The Captain replied.
“Good, that will make this easy.
Anton deactivated Possession and Manifested in front of the Captain as he signed “Don’t Shoot.”
The Captain brought his gun to bear on Anton and paused. He called something over his shoulder, and two of the people with him kept their weapons trained on Anton as the Captain let his weapon hang on his strap and signed back, “Why Not?”
Airman Bennett looked around confusedly. as Anton signed, “For one, I’m completely incorporeal,” Anton said as he stuck his hand through the vehicle door he was standing next to.
“I don’t believe you?” The Captain signed.
“You don’t have to believe me, but to move things along, try to grab my arm,” Anton signed and then stuck out his arm.
The Captain tried to grab his arm and was unable to. When he realized what Anton had done, he looked back at him and signed, “What did you do to the Colonel?”
“I removed a problem from the equation,” Anton signed.
“And you also possessed Airman Bennett here,” The Captain asked.
“I did,” Anton Signed back.
“I have orders to escort your family to the Base and put them on an aircraft,” The Captain said.
“Not going to happen until I’ve had time to talk with the President in person.”
“That is unacceptable,” The Captain said.
Anton watched as the Colonel’s eyes grew pale. The medic had given him something to relieve the pain, and he was now looking at Anton and the Captain.
Anton watched as the Colonel yelled something at the Captain, Probably telling him to apprehend him. The Captain looked back with an expression that clearly said, How the fuck do you expect me to do that?
Anton caught the Captain's attention and signed, “Did that idiot just tell you to arrest or apprehend me?”
“Yes,”
“Is he that fucking stupid?”
“He may not have seen my hands pass through your arm, but otherwise, yes,” the Captain said with a shrug.
Anton thought for a second and then signed, “Who’s in charge?”
“He is.”
“Perfect, watch this,” Anton signed
Anton discontinued Manifest and possessed the Colonel's body again. While he could feel an ache in the foot he shot, the painkiller had dulled it. Anton looked over at the Captain, “My apologies Captain, my foot really hurts. We need to get back to the base. Leave watchers to let us know if the family moves while we head back to base. I need to talk to the General directly.”
The Captain looked at the Colonel questioningly and then said, “Yes, Sir, as he detailed two members of his team to take up positions on each side of the house so they could see the whole house. Then he went to talk to the local authorities and the rest of the military, which all started packing up and leaving. In less than 15 minutes, the only personnel still there were the Ambulance Driver, the Medic, The Colonel controlled by Anton, and the two soldiers who were keeping an eye on the House.
The Medic helped the Colonel into the back of an Ambulance. Once underway, Anton relaxed and dropped the Colonel's body into a state of Mediation. There was no time like the present to see if he could use Meditation or Battle Meditation while possessing someone else.
As Anton dropped into Meditation, there was a moment when the Colonel’s mentality struggled to re-establish control, but Anton shut that down with little effort. So, he could use Meditation, but if the creature he possessed had a strong mentality, it might be able to break free if he relaxed control. That could be a problem with powerful enemies..
Anton’s skill in Meditation was relatively high at level 51. That could allow him to replenish the Colonel’s Psychic Energy and Mana quickly, though the downside of being primarily unaware of his surroundings while he used Mediation still sucked. On the positive side, meditation, unlike battle meditation, allowed him to improve his healing rate.
Anton knew the trip back to the Base would take about 10 minutes so he limited his Meditation to 10 minutes during the trip. When he ended the meditation, Anton used his senses to check the Colonel's foot and found that it had been fully healed, even the damage to the bones. It looked like while he was meditating, he could channel some of his natural healing from his ability Immortal into the body he possessed. He didn’t have a healing power, exactly, but it looked like he could supercharge someone else’s healing ability if he possessed them. That could come in really handy.
The medic noticed that the Colonel was moving his foot and looked down at the undamaged foot, “What the hell?” the medic called out.
“What?” Anton said as he brought the Colonel’s body out of its meditative state.
“Your foot, it’s fully healed!” the medic exclaimed. “I have to get someone.”
“Freeze, Airman. You’ll do no such thing.
“But, Sir,”
“My foot, my call, Airman,”
“Yes, Sir,”
“Just drop me off at Headquarters, please.
The driver changed their destination, and a few moments later, they pulled up to the Headquarters building. Anton stepped out of the ambulance, minus one shoe, and made his way into the building where a two-star General stood waiting for him
“Colonel, I thought I gave you precise orders to get that family back to this base. I do not see the family,” The General declared.
“What’s up, General? Let me see if this works,” Anton said as he took the President’s phone out of his Inventory. The phone appeared in his hand.
The General saw the phone appear out of nowhere, “What?” The General stammered.
“Just a moment, General,” Anton said as he dialed the number of the phone Felix was currently holding and set the President’s phone to the speaker so the General could hear the call.
“Yes?” Felix’s voice called over the phone
“Felix, this is Anton, in a Colonel’s body back here in Minot. The Colonel was sent to grab my family by the General, who is also standing right next to me. Is the President there with you?”
“Yes, he is, As are quite a few others,”
The General looked like he was about to say something, but Anton cut him off, “Mr. President, rescind the order before the Colonel, who I’m talking through, has another accident?”
Anton heard the President ask Felix to ask what accident before Felix conveyed the question.
“It seems that the Colonel shot his foot with his firearm,” Anton explained.
“Are you saying the Colonel shot himself,” Felix asked.
“Yes.”
“How is he now?” The President asked
“Well, his foot is fully healed; I took care of that when I was testing something else out. His boot, on the other hand, is toast.”
“I take it this is your way of not so subtly implying that you can get to anyone anywhere?” the president asked, his voice coming through the phone loud and clear.
“Before I answer that, I want to hear you rescind the order to the General here.
“It doesn’t work like that,” The President said.
“I’m sure the General still has a phone. It’s probably been encrypted, and he can receive a call. If you want my help, my family is off-limits. If you want me to significantly reduce your ability to respond to the impending crisis, refuse.”
“Are you threatening us, Anton?” The President asked heatedly.
“Mr. President. Here is what I am going to do if I don’t have your word. I’m going to invite Felix and Caitlyn to come to Minot and hang out with my family and me for the foreseeable future. The message we all saw from the SYSTEM indicates that the Magical Density of this world is increasing. As that happens, electronics may or may not continue to work. Who knows, maybe the SYSTEM modified itself so technological items work with magic, but I wouldn’t bet on it. Besides, whatever goes on with technology, one thing is for sure. As the Magical Density increases, magic is going to do some weird things, which include creating or summoning monsters everywhere.”
“Why should I believe anything you’re telling us?” The President asked.
“Well, you did just have approximately 3.5 billion people appear on the planet out of nowhere. Additionally, I was just there in Washington, D.C., and I made it back to Minot in just under 20 minutes without using an aircraft. Additionally, I am currently possessing a Colonel, who I possessed and then shot in the foot with his personal sidearm. But before we digress, let me continue with what I’m going to do. I am going to keep my family safe. Anyone that tries to take or harm them is going to find out just how bad it is to piss off a being that can remain incorporeal, possess whoever they want, and also summon every weapon he’s picked up out of thin air,” Anton said as his P90 appeared in his hands pointed at the General, “General. Would you please stop reaching for your weapon? The only person you’d kill if you shoot me would be the Colonel. You cannot hurt me while I’m in this body, and if you were to shoot my body with your handgun, I guarantee I will survive.”
Anton stored the P90 in his inventory when the General relaxed his posture and turned his attention back to the phone call, “Well, Mr. President?”
“Is it true you are immortal?”
“Felix at least filled you in on that then. Yes, as far as I can determine, I am immortal. Not even nuking me at close-range works.”
The General cleared his throat, “Colonel, I mean, Anton, What do you consider close range?”
“About 20 feet, maybe less,” Anton replied honestly.
The General was so shocked by the statement he went quiet. Anton waited a moment to see if the General had anything else to add to the conversation and then continued, “Now, back to my plan if the order isn’t rescinded. I’m going to stay with my parents, and anyone that bothers us is going to have a lot of bad days. The Magical Density will increase, monsters will start spawning, and the world will have some very bad days without my help. After everything has completely fallen apart, again, I will try to help the survivors, and we’ll rebuild.” “And the other option,” The President asked.
“That’s simple. I will work with the smartest people you have so we can prepare this country and the world, if they’ll listen, for what is probably going to happen. Additionally, I help with any of the truly awful monster spawns. Since I am immortal, it should go without saying that I’m the perfect candidate for suicide missions. What is your answer, Mr. President?”
As Anton asked the question, The general's phone buzzed. He pulled it out and turned the phone so Anton could see the message.
“Very good, Mr. President. I think we can work together so long as we’re honest with each other. Speaking of honesty, we were interrupted before I could inform you that the would-be assassin at Andrews was an Elf, probably from the Planet Minerva.
“Minerva,” The General asked.
“The Planet Minerva?” The President asked.
“I’ll be back in Washington D.C. in a moment, Mr. President; we need to talk,” Anton said as he hung up the phone. Anton turned to the General, “The Colonel will have no memory of anything that has happened during any moment I controlled his body when I released him. I’ll be releasing him now.”
Anton released the Colonel and returned to his Father’s home. He only stayed for a few minutes, which was enough time for him to let his dad know what had happened. Once he was sure everything was, Anton activated Specter and used Planar Shift to appear in the Presidential Emergency Operations Center under the White House. When he didn’t see the President, he moved up into the White House and found the President in the Oval Office with a group of people standing or sitting around the room. Anton Manifested first to let them know he was there and then deactivated Specter to appear in the room where his manifestation had been standing.
Felix looked over, “You seem to be getting around a lot quicker than before, Anton?”
“A new take on a previous skill, but yes, I can get to any location I’ve previously been in short order.
Just then, the clock on the wall showed “03:00,” and The SYSTEM released a notification that flooded the world.
