"shraaaaaaa!!"
"shrrrrrkkkkk"
The Wapeer ran through the gate and stopped in front of a building. Even Though, the structure in front of it was too simple to be called a building.
Most part of it was made from solid mud, and the rest of it was constructed from arranged woods.
The overall shape of it was like a cone, and the diameter was around five meters. There were several buildings like this in the area, yet it was bigger than the others.
"that must be Roro's place.."
Chanotte was keep walking and followed by Chorin.
The other Wapeers were surrounding them and closed the entrance of that place.
They were the only human there, so it couldn't be helped the Wapeers reacting that way.
-shhrrrk-
All of the reptile eyes there were observing their movement.
"Roro! human... here..."
The Wapeer that brought Chanotte and Chorin to this place shouted at the building.
-sreek-
Chanotte could hear a sound like something heavy were dragged coming from the inside of the building.
After that, he could see many sharp teeth with a pair of fierce reptile eyes coming out from it.
"shrraaaaa!!"
The rest of the Wapeers bowed down and showed their respect.
"shrrrkk.."

A Wapeer came out. Its body was covered with blue scales like the other, but thicker. On its chest, some bright red scales could be seen making a pattern.
It wore a deer skin on its back and a necklace made from human skulls.
Chanotte and Chorin could only guess whose skulls were that. Those skulls could belong to their comrades or some poor souls who had caught by the Wapeer in the forest, otherwise there was no way to confirm the fact.
"humans..."
It started talking to them.
Chanotte took one step forward and looked at it.
"I'm Chanotte Chirvayne. Chief of the king's guard. Are you Roro?"
"sshhraa... yes, I Roro. The head of this tribe, and also the chosen shaman by the diverse god AMHRYNE herself, the Ga'rhani"
Chorin scrunched his eyebrows while hearing that.
"the diverse god...? these monsters have a god too?"
Chanotte's reaction was totally opposite with him. He already met Half-beast tribe in Ohre village, so this kind of fact was no surprise for him.
"I see. Then, I assume you know about what is happening right now?" Channote asked
Roro moved its head a little before answering his question.
"I know. the past, the present, and the future.... yet, nothing is bound.. except the past"
He waited for a while before Roro started to talk again.
"fool humans... tried to wake something that shouldn't be awake..."
"you mean Samhra? the emissary of death?"
"yes, you're right.. -shhrrrk-"
Roro stared at the sky and shrieked, followed by the other Wapeers.
"shhhhhraaaaa!!!"
Chorin covered his ears and talked to Chanotte.
"sir, I think this is wasting our time"
"I thought you said that we were already too late to stop Libhane's plan?"
"indeed... but what will we gain from talking with these monsters?"
".... that's up to me.. to decide"
Chorin stopped there. He felt that his chief and also his friend had changed since he came back from that Half-beast village.
"I've found your friend here also did the same earlier.. what's in there? in the sky?"
Chanotte wanted Roro's focus back to him.
"shhhhhh... something bad.. really bad. Bad mana... gathering in the sky. That's the sign... sign from the death"
Roro and the other Wapeers kept looking at the sky.
"can you explain to me, how can this Samhra be revived? is that possible?"
".... the emissary of death is immortal. Death can't bind him.. he can be resurrected, but with a very great price"
Roro continued his words.
"with many deaths lingering near his remains.. and his nemesis blood is sacrificed at his heart.. only then, he will rise again"
"..... by holy mother's grace .. what's Libhane trying to do.."
Chanotte looked at Chorin.
"sir?"
"Chorin. I need you explain everything that you know about Libhane's plan"
"I've already told you.."
"the truth"
"pardon me..?"
-zriing-
Chanotte raised his sword and pointed towards him.
"I won't repeat it.. tell me the truth, Chorin"
