First name Declan, last name Decter. Username? Lantern. That's me. Im a game developer. Im currently working on a new VRMMORPG called "Another Earth Online". My dream is to create a second life, for me, for everyone.
The game is almost finished. Im currently working on a "Country" and "Realm" system. To explain this basically, a Country is a bunch of guilds uniting together to create a country. The realm is the same thing but it's countries uniting.
I had a lot of fun creating this with my friends. I can still remember the first time I actually programmed a VR-P0D.
It was a normal night at the office the day that happened. I was just finished making the Country and Realm system. I had nonstopped programming for an entire week without sleeping. I don't know how's that possible.

I left the office and crossed the road while carrying my bags. I felt sleepy, so I couldn't helped but to close my eyes while crossing the road. I didn't even realize that a truck was about to hit me.
When I opened my eyes, I was in a totally different place, or should I say world. It was unbelieveable. I was in a hill. The place looks similar to Detero Hills. A place that I created specifically for admins to hangout in Another Earth Online.
I gasped and a menu showed up in front of me.

It's the Status menu that I made. The extra line of code there can only be seen by admins. Sys indicating the type of variables. Admin indicating the person authority. Changeable means I can change it.
Am I in my own game? This is overwhelming. Perhaps I should figure out what to do first.
I tried to open my Skill menu by thinking about it but it doesn't work. I tried waving my right hand and the menu popped up near the Status menu. Perhaps it'll only work if I move one of my hand or body part and think about it.

Level one characters shouldn't have skills but due to the fact that im an admin, I have "cheat" skills. The Admin Barrier supposedly grants you an invisible undestroyable barrier. The Check skills allow you to check other player stats, the check skills is usually used to search for cheaters in the game.
I clicked the code on the level status to try to change it. Another menu popped up.

Oh, this is one of my friend pranks that was made. I didn't realise it's still here. Back means yes and Bick means no.
I clicked yes and typed the desired level I want to be. I typed 500. 500 is the level cap of Another Earth. Maybe I can be Overpowered like that one anime called "Overlord".
