Gritting my teeth, I concentrate on the new goblin.
Goblin grunt
Basically, they are just a rank above feral goblin. They tend to try to fight with weapons but are barely able to do.
Hit points: 40/40
So, he got a really lucky strike? Time to power through that stuff.
A quick check of my status give me the following:
Hit points: 60/90
Status bleeding (1hit points / seconds)
I harden my grasp of the hammer, grab the javelin and remove it from my side, unfortunately increasing the damage and the flow of blood.
Hit points: 50/90
Status bleeding (2 hit points / seconds)
Feeling nausea and dizziness I focus on the grunt. Remembering my throwing skill, I reverse my grab on the javelin and throw it at the grunt.
Not a killing shot but enough that it stumble through the hole, giving me some time.
Fighting against the pain and the dizziness I half run half stumble back in my flat toward the workshop where I keep my first aid kit.
Fumbling with the box, I finally retrieve the bleed stop powder that I open an pour generously on the wound, hissing at the increase in the pain but the following notification cannot stop my grin.
Bleeding status removed
Hit points: 40/90
Less than half my hit points and I still need to deal with the grunt and probably with the shaman.
I need some quick plan or I will not survive both.
Still thinking, I start to pile and move heavy stuff to block the access to my workshop.
I also grab two planks and some heavy construction nails to further block the access.
Ok, that should occupy them some time. I will get around them as discreetly as possible. If I can disable the shaman quickly enough I should be able to deal with the grunt.
I open the window as discreetly as possible and chuckle as I began to hear pounding on the door.
Great that will cover my noise easily.
I grab another plank and put it to close the gap between my workshop balcony and my other balcony.
I grab a chisel then carefully cross the area then crouch myself to pass by the windows of my bedroom towards then end of the balcony that gives access to my living room.
It should be far enough for me to go behind the two goblins.
I carefully scan the room and indeed it is empty. I then time the pounding of the goblin to chisel the window opening.
After a few timely chiseling the window finally open.
I could have been a burglar, nah magic is a lot more cooler.
I lower myself in the salon then crouch and walk as smoothly as I can
Discretion skill learned
Nice.
Giving a look I see the shaman chanting while the grunt seems to be nearly double its original size.
Hum seems to look like a kind of enhancing. It should distract the caster so I can deal with him. I just hope the enhancement will stop shortly after else I am in a kind of hell.
Just in case, I time my hit with the grunt and smash the shaman in the head with my hammer.
He just drop under the blow instantly dead and the grunt reduces to his original size.
Not waiting for him to realize anything I quickly launch a magic bolt at him killing him in a gorey display.
I stumble to my knees dropping my weapon and putting my hands to my head with a massive headache.
0 mana left. You suffer mana depletion
After a painfully long time which in reality spanned only over a few minutes, I recover enough to think again and stop squirming on the floor.
Ouch mana depletion is a nightmare. How could I prevent that. Eh system, anyway to always know my mana and increase it ?

Oh hum thanks ?
The new mana bar is handy and quite depleted.I check around me. I don't feel really secure here. I decide to retrace my steps back to my workshop using the wooden planks which I retrieve locking myself safe again. I exhale slowly relieving myself of some part of the stress then focus on the next steps

Hum add 1 to will and 1 to wit for the magic part. Let's add 1 to stamina as it is quite low. That really explains why I cannot climb stair without thinking I will die.
Also can you explain Mastery of magic, spellcasting and class skill point ?
Mastery of magic helps you unlock new magic capacities. Each points in it allow to directly gain a new class specific skill. It increases every odd level. Spell casting is not counted against this total.
Spellcasting directly reflect the number of spell that are granted to you. It is one of your class specific skill.
class skill points can be spent to increase any skill oriented towards you class. In your case any and all magic oriented. You gain one point every level starting at level 3
Nice. What to choose? I need variety to maximize my survivability in the short term. Let's add that point to Mastery of magic. Show me the capacities.
I browse the capacities tree for some time pondering on what could be useful.
Finally deciding I take a last look at the selected capacities before validating my choice.
Runecrafting : allow you to craft runes on objects giving them capacities that can be activated with mana. The more your mastery will progress the more runes you will be able to add on a single item. The skill will give you some basic rune knowledge. You will have to find or create new ones.
Imbue : a complementary skill for skills like runecrafting. Allow you to create mana batteries for your creations.
Good. Now time to experiment and prepare.
