The world is at an end, the loud sounds of rumbling echoed throughout the sky as the planet cracked, and split apart. Towering buildings crumbled, the once prosperous cities full of life were now nothing but hollow graveyards. The tree came tumbling down, the sky was pitch black, and the sun was nothing but a black void. It was the end of this planet, and this solar system.
The oceans were now devoid of life, and polluted to the brim with toxins, ash, and dust made up the sky now. I stared lifelessly at the sky, as If taking the final moments of our race, and this planet. No matter how advanced our technology was, in the end we came to ruin.
“We were never a match with them to begin with, huh?” I mumbled as I spat out dark blood from my mouth. The steel ground was nice, and cool, I could feel a warm liquid exit my body, causing my body to become colder, and colder. I tried to lift my arms, only to feel a dull sensation.
“Ahh that's right, I lost it.” I made a self derisive smile, as I continued coughing out more blood from my lips. My arms, and my legs were all severed, littered across this floating, automated research lab. Hundreds of broken machinery was strewn across the floating lab, craters formed all over the place, mechanical limbs, the whirring of robotic heads, and the torn bodies of flesh, and blood, it was the sign of a vicious battle.
Small droplets of tears streamed down as I laughed out loud, after coughing out more blood, I continued to laugh, my throat felt hoarse, and painful.
“Professor, in the end it was too late, your project failed.”
All the effort poured in to create space folding to escape the demise of the solar system came for naught, who knew a robotic uprising by androids would have occurred in such a situation. Life was too ironic!

Friends, comrades, lovers, and family, they no longer mattered, the world, the race, and the future was about to end. In the end, I would be the sole survivor to witness the end of the world.
“Somehow I feel a bit special.” A sarcastic laughter escaped my lips.
My body felt colder, and more rigid, the pain from my missing limbs all became dull, my eyes were droopy, and I could barely muster the energy to speak. Despite the blood pouring all over my body, and forming a large red pool, a smile formed on my lips.
Surprisingly I feel satisfied, we tried our best, we gathered as much funds as possible, fought viciously with many hostiles, and in the end we failed. Regrets, longing, hatred, and helplessness, I discarded those emotions, because it no longer mattered.
The planet broke a part, and pieces of land were shattering, slowly rising into the air.
My eyes were very heavy, and my body so incredibly cold, nothing mattered anymore.
"I at least want a good dream."
The floating lab started to glow, an iridescent blue film coated the lab, and a loud hum shook the atmosphere. The lone figure was covered in a thin film of blue light, the person did not notice as the person was likely dead.
The planet burst apart, and the signal for the end finally came.
