Author Note: I have checked with Elandrial for allot of the details of the world setting. This is the first thing I’ve posted, so don’t expect updates too often. But, Here I go!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I slowly move my arms through the air, contemplating the movement. Normal people would think it perfect, but not me, or my family. We know that there is always improvement to be made. We just have to find it.
I constantly repeat the same motion, each time evolving it slightly, lost in the action
“Gabriel!”
I hear a voice from behind. Turning, I see one of my sisters. She is small, and young, our youngest in fact, but as fierce as a lion. Before joining us, she had been homeless on the streets, making a living bare knuckle boxing illegally.
At that point, while I am thinking on our first meeting, I am sent flying by a kick to the face.
That’s pretty much how we met...
I had been in London at the time, trying to figure out what to do. I had recently gathered the first dozen members of my family, and needed to find a place to stay, when I met her. I saw her in an argument with a large man, who turned out to be the one running her fights. I thought he was threatening her, so put him onto the floor. When I turned to check if the girl, named Emma, was OK, I was met with a foot to the face. She joined us soon after.
I learnt two things that day: Never let your guard down against people you think you are helping, and never, EVER, get in the way when Emma is about to fight someone... Oh, and never assume she won’t win. Except against me. If I’m not distracted. Or hungry, I guess.
“Listen to me!! It’s time for food.
“Really Emma? Lunch already?” I reply, sitting on the ground. I could have sworn I only started a few hours ago, right after a nice breakfast of a bacon sandwich... Mmmm...
“NO” she shouts, flying at me again.
This time I grab her foot, and pull her down beside me.
As she sits there, pouting cutely, she huffs, and turns away.
“It’s time for dinner you knob! Its 5 bloody 20! You’ve missed lunch again!”
I barely catch her mutter under her breath “And I made it myself too...”
“Did you say something?”
She walks off, and tells me to hurry.
I linger for a while, and glance around our home, our forest. We have made our place in the middle of the Cairngorms National Park, near the second largest mountain in the UK, Ben Macdui, in Scotland.
I feel content here, away from... others. Besides my family, all others make me feel uncomfortable, so what better place to get away than the highlands of Scotland?

I chuckle at my own joke, and am answered by a growl. Turning, I spot a wolf as large as a bear.
As it leaps at me, its jaws slobbering and a literal fire in its eyes, I react how any sane person would.
As it flies through the air, I twist under it in mid air, and ram my hand into its throat, and grab on. As it sails over me, I barely dodge its front claws, and twist on top like Legolas. I wrap my arms around its thick neck, and squeeze as hard as I can, trying to steer it into a tree. It smashes right in to an ancient oak, and I wince.
“Sorry tree” I mutter.
The creature seems dazed for a moment, and I allow a feral grin to appear on my face. I quickly pick up a rock, and proceed to methodologically bash its brains out. As I get up, blood and bits of brains, which seem oddly hot, coating my forearms, I drop the rock.
When a Blue Screen pops up in front me, I sigh, as it seems I have actually, finally, gone insane.
