The Crystal Chosen; a group of people enhanced by power crystals that have appeared around the world, randomly selecting people and endowing them with strength and aptitude. They seek to enslave the world and allow it to be run by Enhanced Individuals of Power who would pick and choose who they deemed worthy to serve and coexist beside them in their ideal new world.

Task Force Gift; Run by brilliant minds, a couple of enhanced persons and spearheaded by the efforts of the First Chosen, this joint operation comprising of the National Security Agency, Central Intelligence Agency and the United States Secret Service is an agency that officially operates under the front of being meant to aid gifted people toward reaching higher potential. In addition to guiding academic savants, expert athletes and distinguished service members with ways of improving their lives, they also serve a more dedicated purpose that’s shrouded in secrecy. They are the ones responsible with containing Enhanced Terrorism actions around the world. To meet this end, they work with agencies around the world and support their operations against terrorists, enhanced or otherwise, in order to get closer to reaching worldwide cooperation while also eliminating threats to global stabilization.
The First Chosen; A man who once served as a mediocre soldier with little or no promise of a future beyond working endlessly with no satisfaction in life who stumbled upon secrets he was never meant to discover, living a life he wasn’t meant to have, with a capability that nobody would have considered him to be destined for. Upon gaining his enhancement, he was the first to have been selected by this power crystal, which was the slightly weaker half of a split crystal. He was subject to special training and sent on high risk missions to be studied on how effective he could be with his new power. The other half of the crystal that chose him chose another, and this person is known as his crystal twin.

Crystal Twins; the result of one crystal being split in two halves and selecting two people who are then brought together. Through this bond, these two are able to achieve great results by working together. In many cases, the two are bonded and must protect each other.
