Outlining up to chapter 10 is almost finished, in the meantime while you wait here's a map of Grund (the world the story takes place in)! I didn't draw this myself, I used a program called Inkarnate. This map doesn't hold all of the cities of each country, just ones that might be important later on and some extras I felt like throwing in.

Fun fact: chapters need to be at least five hundred characters long. So here are some fun facts about Andwyrdan! (Spoilers ahead? Possibly, but I'll try avoiding anything that I actually plan on mentioning in the novel)

- Yppath was originally colonized by Munstrond, but eventually became independent. This is why (most of) the character names are Anglo, while (most of) the city names are derived from Old Norse -- the culture shifted over time after independence, but by that point most of the cities had already been formed. Acennan was the first city to arise after independence.

- "Yppa" means "lift, raise", hence Yppath's name.

- The Chaotic Wreak is an area of hugely dense ambient mana. No one knows why, but there are many legends and myths in Grund culture as to its origins.
