The beginning of an immortal's journey starts with pain. Whether it be physical or mental, does he have the strength to overcome the trials to come? Will he take revenge on those who wronged him, or will he fade into irrelevance and die? Will he lose himself in the process of gaining what was once his? . . . This is my first true attempt at anything resembling real literature, so bear with me through the process of refining my writing. Any (constructive) feedback is appreciated.
