After Aimlessly wandering around the desert for several hours the sense of hunger I was already used to started coming back, I felt slightly depressed. Ever since I became an undead the sense of hunger had constantly plagued me even when I was full. Since I had to deal with it constantly everyday I eventually I got used to it, but after my evolution that sense of hunger was had finally dispersed, filling me with a blissful feeling of relief that I had not felt in a whole while.
Now that it returned I became slightly depressed, but I was already used to the feeling of being constantly hungry therefore I simply ignored my sense, leading to this troublesome situation.
Three whole hours passed and I had yet to find civilization, much less life signatures, in fact I had yet to spot a single cactus, the closest thing to a living organism here were the dead shrubs dotting the dry mountains and rocky hills.
Troubled by my increasing sense of hunger I frantically began searching for a city. If I find one I could perhaps make its outskirts my new hunting ground, but for now I really do not want to approach to close to city. Those survivors can definitely get scary, not only are they now constantly growing stronger these days but to top it off some even developed powerful and ridiculous abilities.
After climbing the hill which was covering my view of the north-east, I finally spotted a bit of human civilization, however it was not at all what I expected, it was a simple deserted looking town, several small and destroyed shops, broken glass littering the ground and even walking...skeletons?
Well I guess that's to be expected from a race composed of undead beings. I quietly sneaked through the alleyways of the city trying to find even a small trace of a survivor that may provide me some sustenance.
Unfortunately after searching for an hour and using my new and enhanced sense I couldn’t even find a small trace of any living survivors.
All there is in this city is looted stores and buildings, burning cars, and stupid zombies/skeletons.
My strong sense of hunger was slowly clouding my senses, for a second I even tried to devour a skeleton, however it quickly ran away after noticing my menacing expression. this was a brand new sensation to me, even spending several days without eating would of never gave me such and unsettling sense of hunger. This feeling was slowly overtaking me, after closing my eyes for a while, my hands slowly gripped onto the corner of a building, crushing the concrete into pieces, after releasing some frustration my senses slowly started to return.
A mad glow slowly started appearing in my iris, several tiny blood vessels started glowing a dim shade of red as my eyeball was slowly covered by a thin jet black film.I knew I had to find food quick, I had no idea what possible situation might happen if I lost to my instincts. Right now even my thinking was slowly being replaced with scenes of fresh blood spurting from severed limbs and the pitiful cries of weak humans.
*Gulp*
Even thinking about blood made my saliva thin out and start dripping from between my teeth.

I Started running running across town and quickly made it to the highway that leads to the city located only ten miles away. The various trails of smoke floating above the sky and multiple lights that illuminated the night sky told me the city was most likely a survivor outpost.
Since the city there was quite small compared to the other cities there should only be around 80,000 survivors or 100,000 at most, plus sneaking around and killing the weak humans would probably be very easy task with my new body, after hours of using it as I wandered around the desert I was finally able to get used to it. Now I finally had the confidence to instantly kill any group of normal enhancers. Unlike last time where I was easily surrounded and shot at.
I began rapidly running across the highway, I prefered to stick to the less illuminated areas and constantly made use of obstacles and debris to hide my body incase there were any human scouts or surveillance equipment installed nearby. I don’t expect them to have anything fancy like infrared cameras installed all the way out here. And even if they did, thanks to the desert’s cold air my body was already as cold as a corpse. Since I haven't consumed anything my body has completely cold since an undead's body would usually only heat up when in combat or when digesting food. Normally zombies are slow due to this reason. However in this environment normal undead would find it hard to raise their temperature due to the cold wind, making them unusually slow. They would only be able to warm up if they formed groups, that is why in cold areas you tend to find that zombies constantly group together.
My body felt really light as I rapidly moved across the highway, a small group of undead that was aimlessly walking around one of the lanes stared at my upcoming figure, upon seeing me speed by them they quickly began to walk towards my direction. Slowly they began speeding up and were soon catching up to me.
“Shit!, why are they after me!” I Can't help but curse, normally undead would just ignore me when I walked or ran past them.
“...”
Six miles later…
“WTF” A huge wave consisting of at least twenty thousand undeads was running behind me. It all started three miles back when by coincidence, I came across a zombie commander that was happily chewing on a bone, Upon seeing me it dropped it and started chasing after me with a serious expression. The most weird thing about the situation is that it had the capability to catch up with my current speed, but instead it made sure to keep several meters behind me. It began giving loud shouts that caused the nearby undead to emerge and start following us.
Growing impatient I felt I finally had enough.
“YOU BASTARDS!, Stop following me!” My shout resounded across a whole mile radius.
“Oh shit”
Soon loud screams filled the whole highway, Slowly groups of other types of undead began appearing. Several groups of hunters trailed beside us, four zombie commanders ran right beside me on both sides, and a large horde composed of several thousand undead ran right behind me.
Congratulations! You Have Started A “Zombie Wave”
Lead the undead horde to decimate the human city!
Wave Statistics:
Velocity: 44.07 Km/h
Zombie count: 40,238 +
Weight: 3393478.741 Kg
And like that a rough night began.
