I've got some pretty cool news to share.
The story that you read here started out as a passion project—essentially, it was a way for me to dive into the world and characters I've been crafting. It served as a sandbox to get to know Mori better, as well as her sisters and the murder-angel magic system.
Mission accomplished.
I'm excited to announce that this short story will now become Act 1 of a much larger story. Integrating it into the larger narrative is a natural progression. This isn't just a simple copy-paste job; I'm enhancing the story significantly. Expect pinch points that ratchet up the tension, as well as new perspectives from other characters that will deepen your understanding of the world and its mechanics.
WHY THE CHANGE?
The short story was a fantastic starting point, but the grander narrative demands more complexity. By expanding Act 1, I can better explain the LitRPG and cultivation tropes and elements that weren't fully fleshed out before. This will not only enrich the reading experience but also provide a more immersive and cohesive story.
