I'm back!! With a HUGE announcement!

An Ambitious Woman and her Very Normal Pet has been such a beautiful pet project for me as a participant of Inkfort Press's Publishing Derby this year. I've so enjoyed getting to share these characters and this story with all of you. It's been an incredible journey.

So here's the thing -- I've been uploading unedited chapters of what is now a self-published novel on Amazon!

This will have the edited versions of the Acts 1 thru 4 (not released on serial platforms yet), as well as some bonus scenes that were not included in the serialization edition.

Why it's not KU:

Amazon requires that KU publications be 90% original, which means I would need to chop each episode of Ambitious Woman down into what we call "stubs."

Frankly: I want to keep providing free story here for my viewers, while also reaching a second audience in the indie fantasy space, even if each chapter is a little more delayed than getting the whole thing in one go!

I'm so excited to share this news with you, and I hope you'll support me by purchasing your own ebook copy. You'll note that Act 4 ends on a cliff hanger, that's because I intend to continue serializing both here and on Tapas.

What is the Inkfort Publishing Derby?:

The inkfort publishing derby is an annual event where 100 contestants are assigned a cover and pen name at relatively random. They have between early June and the end of September to write, edit, publish, and promote a novel. It's a completely anonymous, no-spend event.

As you're reading this, I have won.

Which is all to say that I might not fit into any categories, but since I published within the timeframe allotted, I get to keep my cover and pen name!

What it is not saying is that there are some category wins such as best in community, best in sales, etc. That I will need your help with!

I'm not on social media, but I am on goodreads and amazon. I don't intend to publish wider at this time, but I am open to kobo and barnes and noble, if you would like to see it there.

If you would prefer stubbed chapters and free full length, fully edited editions on Amazon going forward, let me know that too!

Anyways, I'll start posting up these new chapters, some of which have been cleaned up since the release of the ebook now.
