An Alchemist's First Snow
Auria stood atop Elric Wall, she zipped up her overcoat and put her hands in her pockets. To Auria’s surprise, a flurry of white began to fall from the sky.
“Lieutenant,” Auria said.
“Yes, Ma’am?” Ross replied.
“What is all of this?”
“Ma’am, this is snow, have you never seen it before?” Ross asked.
“This is snow?!” Auria exclaimed.
Auria rushed off and, when enough snow had built up, rolled a giant snowball and pelted it at Lieutenant Ross.
Ross, not completely taken by surprise, dodged it entirely. However, she was unprepared for Auria immediately tackling her to the ground.
An Alchemist's Survival Instinct
The snow fell harder, and as it did, something began to feel strange…
“Get down!” Auria yelped, shoving Ross out of the way.
In a flash of light, the ground had been raised up around the two. Auria transmuted the ground beneath them, elevating it to escape.

The two ran off, but the ground kept being elevated, depressed, turned sideways, anything to keep them from being on a straight path.
“What’s going on?!” Ross exclaimed as the hallway was then turned upside down and the two fell on their faces.
“I don’t know!” Auria cried, then dodging a piece of the wall, “The ground’s being transmuted but I don’t know how!”
Auria transmuted a bit of the wall to create a new opening.
In one final flash of light, the ground in front of them was transmuted to create a humanoid form.
A Great Weakness
Auria and Ross split up, each to one fork in the hallway. The ground moved and cracked all around her.
Auria rolled out of the way of a falling sheet of metal. She transmuted the ground to fall to the floor below.
Finally, Auria transmuted the ground to shoot spikes towards the walls, hitting an electrical panel and shocking the hidden alchemist.
The alchemist fell to the floor, phasing into view from the wall.
Auria grabbed the alchemist and turned them over. It was a pretty woman!
Auria flinched, “My greatest weakness…” She murmured to herself, “Well, might as well bring her to medical…” She said before picking up the woman, slinging her over her shoulder, and walking off.
It Plays God
“What did I tell you, Crane? Stop trying to play God,” It said. The room went dark and the ground was swept from under Auria’s feet. Auria began to scream, but no sound escaped her mouth. She clutched her throat and struggled to breathe. It had finally come back into view. A fuzzy figure walked towards Auria.
“You’ve got no clue the consequences of your actions, do you?” It said, “I give you the power to use Alchemy freely, I give you the ability to use Alchemy without a transmutation circle, I allow you to become my transmutation circle, I will only tell you once more, do not try to play God, or else…”
As It finished speaking, It took the form of Auria and promptly vanished.
