"It's so pretty!" Mary exclaimed.
The room's walls were carved in beautiful patterns and the walls were white. It was like a dream to be here.
"Hello, fare lady."
A man came up to Amy and bowed. He had blonde hair and green eyes.
"You look lovely tonight." He said, kissing Amy's hand.
"Thank you sir." She smiled.
"And what would be the name to this beauty in front of me?"

What a charmer. Amy thought.
"Rosy, and you?"
"Zane. A pleasure meeting you. May I have this dance."
He held his hand out. At first Amy was hesitant, but she took his hand and they started dancing.
"So, Ms. Rylain, how long do you plan on being here tonight."
His hand tighten around her, not allowing Amy to run.
"Y-you know who I am?"
"Yes and I'm here to kill you and your friend. You have been taking out our men and breaking the pact."
"Wait, we were told that their deaths wouldn't affect the pact. Plus, you've been doing the same thing. Which is why I'm here to kill you."
They fell silent, but kept dancing.
"We are being lied to." The man whispered, more to himself and not to Amy.
"Welcome to the world of spies and assassins. They are all liars."
The man dragged Amy to the balcony.
"My real name is John Belaware."
"Amy Rylian."
They shook hands and spent the night talking and comparing notes. They could learn a lot from each other and could figure out what the hell is going on.
