Amnesia
By Crab Apple
Chapters 1 & 2
Nakita sprawls lazily on the couch, her face etched with sheer boredom. She shifts to her side, emitting a prolonged groan as her gaze fixates on the front door. "What's keeping him?" she mutters under her breath. Suddenly, Nakita rolls off the couch and heads towards the kitchen. “Maybe if I cook him something he’ll wanna…”Her thoughts are abruptly interrupted by a gentle knock at the door.
“Моя любовь(My love)?” Nakita's heart raced with anticipation as she hurriedly approached the mirror by the front door. With swift movements, she pushed her blonde bangs out of her face and smoothed out her blouse, hoping to present herself in the most captivating way possible. A faint smile graced her lips as she turned to face the door, ready to welcome her husband home. As the door swung open, her smile faded into a disappointed frown.
"Hey sis," Anya greeted, oblivious to Nakita's earlier excitement.
Disgruntled, Nakita let out a tired sigh and pivoted away from the door, making her way back to the couch. “What is it Anya?” Anya followed, shutting the door behind her.
“Well me and Adam have been kind of worried about you and June, so I decided to check in.” Anya said swiftly as she took her seat. “Is everything okay…you know between you two?”
“Ugh what difference does it make?” groaned Nakita as she flopped on the couch. “June is just acting an ass to make me feel bad.”
Anya asked, glancing over at the candy bowl on the coffee table, "What even happened between you guys?"
Nakita, crossing her arms, dismissively replied, "It doesn't matter, he's just being immature." Her eyebrows slanted and her nostrils flared.
Anya, with a mouthful of candy, curiously asks, "Seriously, why are you both so mad? I mean, I know you're not talking, but come on!" Nakita remains silent, her gaze fixed on the flickering flames of the fireplace. Just as Anya pops another candy into her mouth, Nakita finally turns towards her.
"June hasn't touched me in months," Nakita reveals in a monotone voice. Anya is taken aback by the unexpected news, almost choking on her candy.
"Like at all…?" Anya asks, her voice slightly hoarse from the candy. Nakita shakes her head and gazes back at the dancing flames. "You know, Naki, I know you told me that persuading June to do 'the dirty' wasn't an easy task, but I never anticipated him doing absolutely nothing for months... Doesn't that bother you?"
Anya witnesses Nakita's frustration and annoyance firsthand as she snaps back, "Of course it bothers me, Anya! It bothers the hell out of me!" Exclaimed Nakita in a frustrated tone. Taking a moment to compose herself, Nakita takes a deep breath and apologizes. “I wish I could make you understand how challenging it is to cope with this situation when your beloved returns home and doesn't even acknowledge your presence, let alone share a bed with you.” She gazes at the floor, feeling a wave of emotions wash over her. “It's awful, and makes me feel….ugly”
Anya gently clasps Nakita's hand, offering comfort. "You're far from ugly, sis. June is just…different.” she says while placing a piece of chocolate in her hand.
Nakita arched an eyebrow "Difficult is more like it." She let out a deep agitated sigh, and casually tossed the chocolate into her mouth. “I need a drink.” she rises from her seat and gracefully glides towards the refrigerator. With a swift motion, she retrieves a generous bottle of vodka along with a pair of shot glasses. Returning to her spot, she sets one glass before Anya, while pouring herself and her sister a shot. The liquid disappears in an instant, and without delay, Nakita replenishes their glasses.
The sisters burst into laughter, raising their glasses in a toast to each other. "So, what's your take on this, huh?" Nakita asked with a hint of sarcasm. Anya pondered for a moment, deep in thought.
"Well ..why don't you explore different ways to bond outside the bedroom. Might help invigorate whatever lost passion you guys have," suggested Anya. Nakita took a few moments to consider the advice, her mind lost in contemplation.
"You know what, Liz? That's actually a brilliant idea," Nakita exclaimed, playfully smacking Anya's shoulder. A wide smile spread across Anya's face. Nakita glanced at their movie collection, contemplating what to do when he returned. "Perhaps I'll suggest watching a movie together," she mused, seeking a pleasant and uncomplicated activity.
Anya's eyes lit up with excitement. "That's a great idea!" she exclaimed, about to suggest a specific movie when their conversation was abruptly interrupted by the sound of the door opening and closing.
June mumbled, "Finally home," as he kicked off his shoes. He stretched his tired limbs and let out a big yawn. Nakita glanced towards the hallway that led to the front door, adjusting her posture and brushing the hair away from her face.
"Hey, we're in here, моя любовь(my love)," Nakita called out loudly, so June would hear her. In an instant, June's relaxed expression turned into one of paranoia. He cautiously made his way into the living room, finding his wife and sister-in-law sitting on the couch, enjoying a drink together.
Anya greeted June with a friendly wave, catching his attention. In return, he waved back with a smile. "Hey June," she called out. "I came by to drop something off for Naki. Care to join us for a drink?" Anya held up the bottle invitingly.
June hesitated for a moment, averting his gaze. "Uhh...no thanks," he replied softly. "I'm kinda tired, so I think I'll just grab something to eat-"
Before he could finish his sentence, Nakita stood up, interrupting him. "I'll make you something," she offered suddenly, her voice filled with warmth and kindness. With a longing gaze, she reaches her hand towards him, hoping for a connection. However, he swiftly withdraws his hand, leaving her feeling a pang of disappointment.
June hesitated, his eyes darting around the room as he stammered, "Y-you don't have to do that, I can-" Nakita took a step forward, her head hovering over his. Suddenly, her eyes narrow and her eyebrows furrow, causing Junes' gaze to lower. "It's alright," she murmured, her voice filled with agitation. "Why don't you go sit with Anya, while I make something for you?”
“Ok…” June said while sitting down on the couch, distancing himself from Anya. Anya glanced at both of them completely perplexed. Meanwhile, Nakita headed to the kitchen, her footsteps thumping as she walked around aggressively putting food on a plate and throwing it into the microwave.
Anya approached Nakita and whispered, "Does he act like that alot?"
"All the time," Nakita replied, her eyes filled with frustration. "I just want to spend time with him…why does he treat me like a monster?” With a heavy sigh, she slumps forward and buries her face in her arms. Anya gently rubs her back, offering comfort.
"Don't worry, Nakita. Every relationship has its bumps in the road. Once you two get over this little slump everything will go back to normal, I'm sure of it" Anya says, reassuring her with a soft smile. Nakita sits up, and hugs Anya tightly. "I'm heading back to the house. If you need anything, just let me know, alright?" Nakita nods sadly as she watches Anya leave.
After the microwave beeps she grabs the plate holding June's food. Leaving the kitchen behind, she approaches June, who remains lost in his thoughts. She set it down in front of him with a gentle thud. June snaps back to reality and glances at Nakita. "Go on, June, dig in" she insists firmly, nudging the plate closer to him.
June hesitates for a moment before reluctantly reaching for the plate. "Thanks, Naki...," he murmurs, eyes glued to the ground while taking a bite.
“How was your day at work?” She inquired, arms folded, her voice lacking enthusiasm.
“It was fine…” he responds, still avoiding eye contact.
“Nothing exciting happened today?” She probed.
“Not really.” June quickly replied.
“It's strange...you always had work stories to share with me before...looks like that's changed, huh?” Nakita remarked, in an offended tone. Nakita's words hung in the air, a subtle accusation that pierced through the silence. June quickly glances at her, but his guilt-ridden gaze quickly returns to the floor.
June mutters under his breath, "Whatever..." as he reaches out for the tv remote, hoping to escape Nakita's incessant ranting. However, just as he's about to grab it, she swiftly grabs it from the table and mischievously waves it in the air. Frustrated, June makes another attempt to reach for the remote, but she continuously pulls it away, playfully teasing him.
Growing impatient, June abruptly stands up, his annoyance evident in his tone. "This isn't funny, Naki," he says, determined to reclaim the remote. He reaches around her, desperately trying to grab it, getting tangled in her embrace. However, she keeps it just out of his reach, swiftly turning away and holding it close to her chest, while June holds onto her. As June's hands roam up and down Nakita's body in search of the remote, she bites her lip, masking her soft moans with giggles.
She raises the remote control high above June effortlessly, taking advantage of their noticeable height difference. June desperately attempts to snatch it from her grip, practically attempting to scale Nakita. Nakita mischievous smirked, swiftly concealing the remote behind her back. As June reaches around her for the remote, Nakita puts her leg between his, tripping June, causing them to tumble onto the couch, entangled in each other's embrace. Nakita lets out a soft moan as they land, a blush creeping across her face.
His gaze shifts downwards to his hand resting on her chest. Craving more of his touch, Nakita boldly covers his hand with hers, guiding it to gently cup her breast. Their bodies draw closer, their breaths mingling as Nakita leans in for a kiss. But just before their lips finally meet, June abruptly pulls away, untangling himself from Nakita and returning to his original place on the couch. Nakita leans forward while looking at June confused.
Unfazed by June's cold attitude, Nakita begins to crawl towards him across the couch. Catching a glimpse of her, he attempts to create more distance. However, Nakita's persistence only seemed to grow as she continued to inch closer, her eyes never leaving June's. June could feel his heart racing as he tried to come up with a way to escape her advances. But Nakita was relentless, her determination evident in the way she moved closer and closer, until she was practically within arm's reach.
June could feel the tension in the air as Nakita finally reached out to touch his face. He flinched, unable to control his reaction as he pulled away from her touch. The look in Nakita's eyes was intense, almost predatory, as she continued to close the gap between them.
"Come on, June." Nakita's voice was soft, almost soothing, but there was an underlying edge to it that sent a shiver down June's spine.
As Nakita's hand hovered near his face, June finally found his voice. "I...I need some space, Nakita," he stammered, trying to sound firm despite the fear that was creeping into his voice.
But Nakita only smiled, a knowing glint in her eyes. "Don't worry, June. I'll give you all the space you need...after I'm done with you," she whispered, before nibbling on his ear. June tried to pull away before Nakita gently tugs him closer, sliding her hand up his shirt and resting on his chest. His heart races as the warmth of her touch caresses his silky skin.
"Naki..." he whispers, his gaze averted. Nakita's fingers trace delicate patterns along June's jawline, with a gentle yet firm grasp, she guides his face towards hers. Their lips meeting in a tender kiss, a fusion of longing and tenderness. But the sweetness is fleeting, as Nakita's passion intensifies, her hands fumbling to undo June's belt. With each fumbling motion, their breaths quicken, their hearts pounding in sync.
June suddenly pulls back, separating from the passionate kiss, and pushes Nakita's hands away, "Hold on, Nakita!" he exclaimed as he tried to catch his breath. His hands tremble as he tries to pry her fingers away from the zipper. She pays no attention to his struggles, moving down from his zipper to grab his pant leg instead. Leaning back, she attempts to yank his pants off. June, fed up with being ignored, uses his foot to push Nakita away causing her to fall back and land on the other half of the couch.
She shoots him an angry look while her nails dig into the fabric, “What is your problem?” Nakita demands, irritation evident on her face.
“I...I didn't mean to…” June stammers, glancing away as he tries to get up to leave.
Suddenly, Nakita grabbed his wrist, pulling him back down to the couch causing him to startledly yelp. He grabbed her hand trying to pry it off as he pulled away. “Don't play dumb with me,” Her tone carried a hint of annoyance. "You keep to yourself, never spend time with me, refuse to share the same bed as me, and now you won't even let me touch you!" Nakita's voice trembled, her emotions running high.
June shouted, "Nakita, stop!" as he attempted to free his hand. Nakita firmly grasped both of his wrists and pulled them apart. Leaning in closer, she pushed June down onto the couch as she positioned herself on top of him. Despite June's efforts to push her away, Nakita secured his arms below her knee. With a fierce gaze, Nakita watched him struggle.
Suddenly, Nakita swayed her hips forward, causing June to flinch. Slowly, she began to grind against him, prompting June to turn away in embarrassment. "Naki..." he muttered, his face turning red. Nakita closed her eyes and let out a satisfied sigh as she continued to press and rub against his lap. It had felt like forever since she had felt this kind of intimacy with him, and this moment felt like a long time coming.
As Nakita's movements became more intense, June's embarrassment grew. His heart raced as he desperately tried to break free from Nakita's hold. Nakita, lost in her own desires, continued to press herself against June, her body moving in sync with his discomfort. She relished in the power she held over him, enjoying the control she had in this moment. The intensity of her gaze never wavered, as if daring June to resist her advances.
Nakita's soft moan escaped her lips, a mischievous smile playing on her lips as a rush of excitement surged through her. Leaning in close, she planted feather-light kisses on his neck, each one a deliberate tease, a playful exploration of his sensitive skin. "Naki! H-hey that-that tickles!" June managed to say, trying to suppress his laughter. Her kisses trailed up to his blushing cheek. June shook his head, attempting to push her away.
She grabbed the side of his head, holding him still. "Nakita, are you even listening to me-" Nakita interrupted June's protest with a fiery kiss, leaving him speechless. Her hand glided down from his face, tracing a path from his chest down towards his belt once more. With a sudden burst of energy, he grabbed hold of Nakita’s legs and rolled off the couch, leaving both of them on the floor as June scurried to his feet.
Nakita stood up from the floor, her eyes locked on June, a puzzled look on her face. "What the hell, June!?" she burst out, her voice showing signs of annoyance.
"I told you to stop!" June's voice conveyed a real sense of concern. "I... I can't even come home without you pouncing on me!" He positioned himself behind the couch, trying to put some space between them.
Nakita's anger reached its peak as she climbed over the couch, confronting June with a furious expression. "Maybe If you made an effort to spend time with me, I wouldn't have to pounce on you!" she declared, her frustration clearly written on her face. Startled, June began to retreat from Nakita. "Is it too much to ask to spend time with your wife!?" she said, following after him.
"Yes! Because it's never just spending time! It always turns into something like this!”June exclaims, stumbling over a piece of furniture in his retreat. He couldn't shake off the feeling of intimidation whenever she got in that mood. She loomed over him, her temper adding to the unease. He retreats into a corner as she advances, fear evident in his eyes as she glares furiously.
Nakita's voice trembles as she approaches June, “all I want is my husband back! But no...you insist on making me feel horrible and acting scared of me for no reason!” Nakita came to a halt just inches away from him. The intensity of the situation causes him to sink further into the corner, feeling overwhelmed.
"I'm not acting!" June exclaims, his voice filled with genuine fear. Nakita raises an eyebrow with a confused expression. "You...you scare the hell out of me when you get like this Nakita!” Nakita takes a step back, allowing June to catch his breath. He straightens up a bit from his huddled position in the corner.
"I...I don't scare you," Nakita says, her disbelief evident. Before June can summon the courage to reply, her phone starts ringing, Nakita's attention is immediately drawn to it. With a quick glance, she realizes it's her boss calling. Letting out a sigh, she answers, "Yes, Dr Briar?" There's a hint of annoyance in her voice. "Yeah... I'll be there in a few." Ending the call, she mutters to herself, "I'm needed at the hospital...don't think this discussion is over." Nakita turns away and walks off, leaving June alone in his corner.
The following day, Nakita sitting in her office at her desk, furiously tapping on her phone screen, completely engrossed in a game on her phone. "June is such an idiot," she mutters, "why would he say something like that... afraid of me, of all people?" Annoyed, she mistimes her move and fails the level. Letting out a frustrated sigh, she rests her head on her desk. "Why can't things just go back to the way they were?" Nakita fondly recalls the good times she shared with June, goofing around, laughing, and having fun together. "I would give anything for things to go back to the way they were with June.
She lets out a sigh, "that's enough daydreaming." Before diving back into the game. Suddenly, her phone vibrates and Anya's picture appears. "Oh, what now?" Nakita rolls her eyes and picks up the phone.
Anya's voice trembles as she speaks through the phone, "Nakita! It's June!"
Nakita's eyes widen in alarm, "What's wrong?"
"Adam called me, something's happened to June, but I couldn't hear him properly because of the sirens," Anya rushes to explain.
Nakita gasps, her hand covering her mouth as she jumps up from her seat, "Where is he? Is he alright?”
“Adam said that they're nearly at the hospital now before he hung up, and Tian is following behind the ambulance,” Ayna added in a hurry, "I should be almost to the hospital too.”
“As soon as you get here, make sure to tell them that his wife is here and on her way down!" Nakita exclaims anxiously before ending the call. She swiftly exits her office, dashing towards the elevator and frantically pressing the call button. "Come on! Move faster, кусок дерьма(piece of crap)!" When the doors finally open, she jumps inside and slamming her hand on the ground floor button. As the doors shut, Nakita attempts to compose herself while observing the floor numbers descending slowly.
Nakita whispered to herself, "He'll be okay...he’ll be okay," while tightly gripping the hand rails. "Please, just be okay..." When the doors opened, Nakita hurried out and saw Anya trying to call her.
Anya looks up from her phone, “Naki!” she says as she jogs over. “I was just about to call you…”
“Where is June?” Nakita asked in a shaky voice.
“They got him in a room right now…but he hasn't woken up yet” Ayna says while looking at his room door worried.
Nakita walked towards it as a whirlwind of thoughts intensified her anxiety. She takes a deep breath before grasping the handle and entering the room, discovering June lying unconscious on the bed, completely still. “June?” She says with a Shaky voice. She slowly approached the bed and reached for June's hand, clasping it gently.
Tian and Adam walk into the room, only to be met with a piercing glare. "What happened...what happened exactly!?" she bellows, her anger evident in her eyes.
Adam, his voice trembling with unease, explains, "June was up on some scaffolding installing some siding, when he started climbing down the whole set started falling apart and...it sorta fell apart on top of him. When we unburied him we found him like this…”
Nakita glare shifts to Tian, “This is exactly why I didn't want him to come work at your stupid job.” She says angrily.
“Hey this isn't my fault, some dumbass didn't set up the scaffolding right.” Tian says in a defensive tone. “Our boss is at the job site right now-”
“I don't care Tian!” she yells, interrupting him. “You promised me you would keep your brother safe and told me I had nothing to worry about and now look!” She points to June. “Does this seem like nothing!? Huh?” Tian glares at her but says nothing. “I'm gonna go check in with the paramedics who brought him in, keep an eye on him.” She walks past them glaring at Tian.
"Man, she's royally furious with us, huh?" Adam exclaimed, his face filled with panic.
"Ah, who gives a damn? Nakita's always ticked off about something. Except when it comes to him," Tian remarked, pointing at June. He sat beside June's bed, gazing at him with a sigh.
Adam's voice was filled with worry as he asked, "He's going to be alright, isn't he?"
"Of course he will be," Tian reassured him. "He’s walked away from worse. Remember that time he almost fell off that roof and played it off like it was nothing?” Tian says with a chuckle. The friends shared a laugh. Their laughter abruptly came to a halt as June's loud groans filled the room. Gripping his head in agony, June's pain was evident.
Both Tian and Adam turned their attention towards June, concern etched on their faces. "June?" Tian exclaimed, rising to his feet.
Adam hurriedly made his way to the hallway, calling out for Nakita, "Naki, June is waking up!"
Slowly, June opened his eyes, his voice filled with confusion as he mumbled, "T-Tian?"
Tian approached June's bedside, positioning himself directly in front of June. "I'm right here, bro," he reassured him.
June winced as he tried to sit up, looking around the unfamiliar room.
"Where... are we?" he asked, holding his head in pain.
"Don't worry, we're at the hospital in downtown. You're safe," Tian reassured him.
"Down…town?" June questioned, squinting at Tian through his fingers. Tian raised an eyebrow.
"June, you're alright!" Adam exclaimed, walking over with a smile. "You had a pretty bad fall, but it seems like you're fine now." June glanced at him, then back at Tian.
"T-Tian... who is this?" he asked, confusion evident on his face. Tian and Adam exchanged worried glances.
The pair shared a nervous laugh. "Oh, you got me good, June," Adam chuckled. June looked puzzled, as he glanced between them. "It's me, Adam, your buddy!"
"Umm," June hesitated, trying to recall. "I'm sorry, I...I don't recognize you." Adam's mouth fell open in shock.
"This is not good," Tian muttered. “June…what can you remember?”
June paused, deep in thought, “um…oh! I remember us sitting out on our lawn talking about our big move to the city a few nights ago.
Tian's face shifted from panicked to disbelief. "June….that wasn't a few nights ago" said Tian "that was a few years ago…"
“Huh,” June said, confused tilting his head to the side. Before he could continue Nakita enters the room and spots June engaged in conversation with the others.
A wave of emotion washes over her as she exclaims, "June!" with joy. Without hesitation, Nakita rushes towards June, enveloping him in a tight hug. “О, Июнь, я так рада, что ты в безопасности!”(Oh June I'm so glad you're safe) she exclaimed with joy as June tried to wriggle free from Nakita's hug. She showers him with kisses all over his face, whispering sweet nothings in Russian.
Tian and Adam exchange a glance. "Um, Nakita..." Adam starts hesitantly as Nakita continues smothering June with affection. "Nakita, there's something we need to talk to you about."
Nakita shifts her gaze towards him, keeping a firm grip on June. "What's wrong?" June attempts to break free from Nakita's hold, but his words are muffled as she presses his head against her chest.
"Oh, umm, Tian will explain," Adam quickly interjects, his voice filled with nervousness.
"What? Me? No way, you'll explain it better," Tian retorts, equally determined to avoid this conversation.
"Boys, just spit it out, already." Nakita exclaims impatiently. As they try to respond, June tugs at her shirt urgently. She looks down at him, releasing him from her embrace, and he takes a deep breath. "What is it, June?" she asks, in a softer tone.
June's face was turning as red as a tomato with embarrassment as he averted his gaze, attempting to conceal his blush. "T-T-Tian...who is this!?" he stammered, stealing a quick glance at Tian.
Nakita's eyes widened in surprise. She raised an eyebrow and gently grabbed his face, running her fingers along his cheek. "Oh, ha ha," she said in a deadpan tone, playfully shaking his head. "That's not very funny, June."
June's face turned even redder as she shook his head. "I...I'm serious," he mumbles, grabbing her hands and pulling them away from his head.
“what…?" Nakita uttered with a tinge of sorrow in her voice.
Adam approaches the bed, his expression filled with worry. "What's wrong with him, Naki?"
"He…has amnesia," she says. Silence filled the room, broken only by the sound of June's racing heartbeat. Nakita's worried expression mirrors June's own as they both try to process the news. “Tian….can I speak to you in the hallway.” She stands up from the bed and walks out of the door, Tian following after.
Hours pass as June lies in bed, unable to sleep, he overhears a muffled argument between Nakita, the doctor and Tian. The tension just outside the door is palpable, and June can't help but feel a sense of unease creeping over him. “Why can't I remember…” he mumbles to himself. He looks over at the door. “I hope I didn't do something wrong...”
Nakita stood in front of the door, arms crossed. "No, Tian," she said in an agitated voice.
"What's your problem, Naki?" Tian asked, stopping his pacing. "He's my brother. I should look after him."
"Oh? Like how you looked after him at the job site and got him into this mess in the first place?" Nakita replied, raising an eyebrow.
"It was a freak accident that wasn't my fault," Tian quickly retorted.
"Regardless of whose fault it is, I don't trust you to take care of him properly," she says, shooting him a fierce look. "I'm his wife, and he should be with me."
"He doesn't even remember that he's married!" Tian shouts.
The doctor steps between them interrupting their heated conversation, "Arguing won't solve anything. One of you needs to sign the release forms, or he will have to stay here for now."
"You're right, arguing won't help.” She shifts her focus to the doctor. “I'm a doctor, his wife, and I have plenty of space in our home for him...so I'll be the one taking care of him, Tian," she declares firmly, glaring at Tian. “Where do I sign?” she flips through the papers, completely unfazed by Tian's growing frustration.
Tian turned away from them, and walked down the hallway, quickly hiding the scowl on his face before he entered the waiting room. His friends immediately noticed him and called him over. A petite girl with fiery red hair hurried over to Tian and wrapped her arms around his. "Is your brother alright?" Èdith inquired, her expression filled with concern.
"Yeah, he's going to be fine," Tian reassured her. Èdith let out a sigh of relief.
Anya glanced up from her phone, "Have the doctors said anything about his memories returning?”
Tian takes a seat. "His memories might never come back," Tian informs them. Èdith gasps softly and clings to Tian's shoulder.
"How awful," she murmurs sadly. "Do you know when we can take him home with us?"
"...Nakita is taking him home," Tian replies, sounding irritated.
The others looked up at Tian. “Seriously?" Adam questioned, his expression filled with confusion. Anya glares at adam, causing him to quickly backpedal. "I just mean…they've been arguing so much lately… I mean you even mentioned that something seemed off, Anya.”
"I know that, but Naki is the best person to care for him right now," Anya replied calmly. “And let's be honest, he won't even remember why he was upset with her." Just then, a nurse approached the group.
The nurse softly interrupts, "June wants to speak with his brother before he leaves. Which one of you is Tian?" Tian nods and follows the nurse back to the room, where he finds Nakita packing June's belongings into a bag while June stares at the floor.
Tian says, "Hey Nakita, can I have a quick word with him?"
Nakita rolls her eyes, walking past Tian over to the door she pauses, "I'll be in the hallway when you're ready дорогой(dear),” she says before stepping into the hallway.
“What did she call me…?” June asked
"Don't worry about it… The nurse said you wanted to talk, so what's up?”
"I...I don't know about going with her," he admits, his self consciousness evident in his face.
"Why not?" Tian chuckles, trying to lighten the mood.
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
June quickly glances towards the door, checking if Nakita is still there. "She's kinda scary..." he mumbles, his voice barely audible.
Tian stifles a laugh, pretending to cough. "You got that right," he mumbles to himself. "Look you got nothing to worry about, June. You can trust her. I promise." He smiles warmly at June, who slowly returns the smile.
"Alright…If you say so," June says, his voice filled with uncertainty. Tian assists June in getting out of bed and standing up. After putting his shoes back on, they head into the hallway and notice Nakita waiting a short distance away. She walks up to June, her face only a few inches away from his.
“Ready to go?” She asks in a gentle tone, to which June responds with a nod. "Put this on," she says, whilst holding up his jacket with a friendly smile. June returns the smile, but blushes and looks down shyly. He takes the jacket and puts it on. As he tries to lift his head, Nakita leans in, caressing his head to examine his bandage.
June flinches and attempts to pull away, but Nakita gently pulls him back. "Does your head hurt anywhere?" She asked while inspecting his bandage. June quickly shakes his head. Nakita chuckles playfully. "Good, that means we can head home," she assures him, letting go of his head and taking him by the hand to lead him towards the entrance, with Tian following behind the pair.
As they walk along the hallway, June looks over his shoulder back at Tian. A reassuring smile and nod from him put June at ease. "Hey, I'll swing by sometime soon to check on you, alright?"
"Okay..." June murmurs quietly. As they neared the entrance, the rest of their friends congregated, creating a circle as Nakita and June took their places in front of the entrance. June peers through the glass doors, watching the cloudy sky drift.
"You'll be back to your usual self in no time, June," Anya assures him, giving a thumbs up.
"I hope you start feeling better soon," Èdith says while standing a little bit behind Tian.
"Don't stress about work at all. We've got it covered" Adam says, waving and smiling to his friend.
Nakita quickly puts on her jacket and bag. She loops her arm through his, indicating that it's time to leave. June waves to his friends and brother as they exit the building, the cool air enveloping them as they step outside and make their way towards the car. June suddenly looks back at the imposing hospital building. "Woah," he whispers in amazement. Nakita gently pulls June towards her, prompting him to look back at her and notice the small smirk she had.
Leaving the hospital grounds behind, Nakita and June made their way into the parking garage. Nakita's car was easily spotted, and she wasted no time in guiding June towards it. After unlocking the doors, she graciously opened the door for him and helped him inside. She leaned over him to secure his seatbelt, causing June to look away in embarrassment. As Nakita finally clicked the seat belt into place, June looked back at her, and she responded with a warm smile before closing the door.
Nakita swiftly made her way to the driver's seat of the car, settling in with a sigh of relief. "Okay, let's head home, June," she declared, starting the engine and maneuvering out of the garage onto the road. Pressing down on the accelerator, Nakita’s barrelled down the road causing June to lurch in his seat and grip the handle in apprehension as the surroundings blurred past his window. With a sly grin, Nakita glanced over at him before refocusing on the road ahead. Their ride finally slowed to a stop at a crosswalk.
June observed the city block as pedestrians strolled past, two women crossing the street waved at Nakita and June. Nakita waved back, while June looked bewildered and sank into his seat. "It's okay, June. They're our friends," she comforted him, her smile unwavering. When the light turned green, they continued on their journey.
Nakita notices June's stealing glances at her and offers a reassuring smile. "I understand if things seem a bit strange at the moment," she says gently, noticing June's gaze drifting away. She sighs before refocusing on the road "Don't worry, we're almost home.” June nods, looking back out the window. Nakita tried to remain focused on the road, her mind still reeling from the sudden unexpected event. She had never imagined finding herself in such a surreal situation.
Lost in her own thoughts, Nakita nearly overlooks the turn and swiftly veers to the left, going off the main road and onto a narrow path that vanishes into the Forest, leaving June even more bewildered. As June looks up at the trees, a feeling of paranoia washes over him, leaving him anxiously scanning his surroundings. Every rustle or bump in the road and crunch of fallen branches makes him jump. June reaches for Nakita's hand resting on the center console for comfort.
June's mind was racing with questions as he gazed out the rear window, hoping to catch a glimpse of the city lights. Unfortunately, it was hidden from view by the dense thicket. Turning back, he looked at Nakita with a nervous expression. "We're here," Nakita announced as she rounded the corner, passing a sign marking the property as private. Their eyes were met with a stunningly renovated chalet. The woodwork was exquisite and perfectly complemented the masonry. June's eyes widened in disbelief, "Is this... where I live?" he pondered to himself. Pulling into the driveway just beyond the metal fence encircling the house, Nakita brought the car to a stop.
June couldn't tear his eyes away from the elegant house, he couldn't shake a strange feeling creeping over him as he stared. Suddenly, he caught Nakita staring at him from the window, causing him to jump in surprise. She opened the car door for him, and as he stepped out, he nervously scanned his surroundings. Taking his hand, she led him towards the gate, fumbling for the keys in her bag. June glanced back at the dense forest encircling their home, jumping at the sight of birds taking flight, before letting out a nervous chuckle.
June heard a loud click followed by the gate opening with a whining screech. Without hesitation, Nakita swiftly ushered him inside, leading him across the yard and up to the front porch. Upon unlocking the front door, she guided him into the house and shut the door with a firm slam. Inside, June was immediately captivated by the grandeur of the hallway, feeling the comforting warmth of the house enveloping him, his gaze drawn to the exquisite paintings and wall decor.
June felt Nakita grab his sleeves and pull his jacket off. "Are you hungry, June?" she asked eagerly, hanging their jackets up. Before he could respond, she disappeared into the kitchen, rummaging through the fridge. "We have shawarma, beef stew, leftover take out... although I'm not sure if they're still good," she chuckled. "What would you like?" Glancing over, she realized he was no longer in the hallway. “June?”
Nakita walks to the other entrance to the kitchen, spotting June standing in the front foyer, engrossed in admiring the beautiful decorations adorning the walls. A mischievous smirk dances across Nakita's face as she stealthily approaches June from behind. With a swift move, she firmly grabs his shoulder, causing him to flinch and gaze up at her in surprise.
"Hey, don't ignore me," she playfully utters, her tone laced with a hint of aggression. June blushes and retreats a bit. With a light-hearted chuckle, she hugs him from behind, "I'm just teasing. So, what do you feel like eating? Want me to surprise you?" June nods with a slight smile.
Nakita can't help but giggle as she gently guides him to their cozy furniture arranged around a stone fireplace. Nakita gestures for him to sit down, pouring him a glass of water, before disappearing into the kitchen. She glances back at June, bouncing on the couch and admiring the room, a wave of nostalgia washes over her. It takes her back to the early days of their relationship, when everything was new and exciting. Suddenly, the beeping of the microwave brings her back to reality.
Nakita returns with a steaming plate of food, setting it down in front of June with a gentle thud. "Go on, June, dig in," Nakita says, her smile warm and inviting.
June hesitates for a moment before picking up the plate. "Okay, Nakita, thank you..." his gratitude was evident in his voice. Nakita can't help but blush at his words, feeling a flutter of happiness in her heart. She took her seat beside June, before stealing from June's plate, both chuckling as they ate. Glancing at the TV and then back to June, she asks, "Do you want to watch a movie with me?"
"That sounds nice," June replies quietly, surprising Nakita. Without wasting any time, she switches on her favorite film about a girl's quest for love. Normally, June wouldn't join her in watching it because he found it boring, but now as the movie played he couldn't look away for a second. The romantic music fills the room as the couple dances together on the screen, June's eyes remain fixed on the screen.
Nakita wraps her arm around his shoulder, scooting closer to him, and notices him blushing and awwing at the couple on screen. Noticing his captivation, she rested her head on his shoulder and gently rubbed on his arm. “This is nice, isn't it?” she whispered to June in a sultry voice. Junes gazes shifted towards her, a surprised look on his face as the music swells as the two love interests draw closer for a kiss.
Sensing the moment, Nakita gently called out, "June…"
“Ye-yeah Nakita…?” He asked timidly while his eyes drifted back toward the screen, his blush still very visible. She slowly leans forward, inching closer to his face, before suddenly lunging forward and passionately kissing him, the music adding to the enchanting atmosphere. Nakita pushes June down onto the couch, his eyes widened in surprise. As Nakita climbed on top of him, he sank down and instinctively latched onto the couch. Nakita, lost in her own world, swung her leg over and straddled him. She reached down, gently caressed his face, causing him to flinch.
Breaking away from the kiss, she sat up, a playful giggle escaping her lips. "Sorry, моя любовь(my love),” she said, her voice filled with amusement. "I got a little carried away." Looking down, she noticed June's discomfort as he scooted away. "Hey..." Nakita reached out her hand, only for him to pull further away. Nakita inched closer, asking, "What's wrong?"
June stumbled over his words, "that...was..." he averted his gaze.
"Lovely," Nakita chimed in, still grinning.
"It was...but why did you do that?" He glanced at her.
"Why?" Nakita raised an eyebrow, "Because we're married, June. We do this kind of thing all the time," she said, rubbing his arm.
"W-we are?" June turned to face her again. "We do!?" He blushed once more.
Nakita laughs as she grasps his hand and holds it up. “Mhmm” She says with a nod while pointing at the matching wedding bands on their ring finger.
"Can you recall our wedding day? Our vows? Anything about...us?" she asked, clasping her fingers with his, her voice brimming with hope.
He furrowed his brows, racking his brain for any recollection of their relationship. Unfortunately, nothing came to mind. "I..I don't remember any of that," he confessed, releasing her hand and feeling a wave of uncertainty wash over him. “I'm sorry…” he returned to his spot on the couch, looking at the floor while staring at his ring.
“June…" she whispered, placing her hand on his back. Nakita's phone suddenly rang, breaking both of their attention as they glanced at the table. "I...I should probably take this, wait right here, June," Nakita exclaimed, swiftly retrieving her phone and making her way to the kitchen.
Nakita glanced at her phone and noticed that Tian was calling her. She quickly glanced over at June to ensure he wasn't eavesdropping before ducking back into the kitchen. With a nonchalant tone, she answered, "Hey Tian."
"Hey Naki, I was just wondering how June is doing. Is he okay?" Tian asked in a tired tone.
“Yeah he's fine.” She says impatiently.
Tian glances at his phone suspiciously “Well can you put him on for me? I wanna talk to him.”
June's gaze flickered towards the kitchen, where Nakita paced with a mix of calmness and tension. Her body language shifted from casual to tense as she spoke quietly to avoid June overhearing. "Uh…I can't right now," Nakita muttered, stealing a glance at June, who promptly averted her eyes towards the fireplace.
"Why not...?" Tian inquired.
Nakita nervously pulls at her shirt, feeling the weight of the lie she just told. "He's... in the bathroom? Yeah… he's just taking a shower at the moment. I wouldn't want to disturb him..." She can feel her heart racing as she tries to keep her composure.
She hears Tian let out a groan on the other end of the line, clearly not buying her story. "Alright, I'll check on him in the morning, okay?" His concern only adds to her guilt.
"Yep, got it. Have a good night, Tian." Nakita quickly ends the call before he can respond. She lets out a groans, “I'll have to come up with a better excuse in the morning, but that should be enough for now,” She says quietly to herself hoping she can keep up the charade. Meanwhile, June looked down at the floor, attempting to piece together the fragments of his past with Nakita, anxiously fiddling with his hands at every passing thought. He hears Nakita returning from the kitchen, his head lowering as he hears her coming closer. June kept his gaze fixed on the ground, hoping Nakita hadn't noticed him trying to listen in on her conversation.
Suddenly, Nakitas feet appear before June's gaze. "June?" she uttered, her voice shaky. Slowly, June lifted his gaze, his face etched with panic. A heavy sigh escaped Nakita's lips as she averted her gaze. Nakita's tone became gentler as she expressed regret to June for her sudden disappearance "My boss was just calling to check in with us…" she said while still looking away.
“Oh…” June replied, his gaze shifting back towards the floor.
“I'm sorry…” Nakita blurted out. Junes head shot up, his brow furrowed. “I shouldn't have just jumped on you like that,” Nakita said, crouching down to meet his eyes. “You're mad at me, aren't you?” She gently shook June's chin, while she pouted.
“No…” June mumbled, his cheeks starting to turn red again.
“Good… I want you to know I'd never want to harm you, June,” Nakita stated, rubbing his cheek with a mischievous grin on her face.
“I know, Nakita. I trust you,” June replied, a small smile forming on his lips.
“Good…” Nakita said softly. “Now…why don't we finish the movie.” Nakita sits down next to June, placing arm around his shoulder and looking up at the screen.
Nakita pondered to herself, "I guess he really doesn't remember anything about us….how we first met, our first date, or any of the things we've been through together." She glanced at their picture together with saddened expression before realizing, "That also means he has no memory of our disagreements, resentments, or our…..marital 'issues'.”As Nakita glanced at June, engrossed in the movie, a slow smile crept across her face. "This is absolutely perfect," she whispered. "He doesn't remember a single thing I've done to him or why we were mad at each other.” With a contented sigh, she turned her attention back to the screen.
Later that night, Nakita lies back on the couch with June's head resting on her shoulder. She absentmindedly twirls June's hair while keeping an eye on the screen. The credits start rolling, prompting Nakita to glance at the time. "June," she murmurs softly. "Time to hit the hay, соня(sleepyhead)." June's eyes flutter open, meeting Nakita's gaze.
He shyly scoots away, a faint blush coloring his cheeks. Nakita chuckles and affectionately pats his head. "Come on, let's go. I'm beat," she declares, she rises to her feet while stretching and makes her way to the stairs. Pausing, she looks back at June still lounging on the couch. "Aren't you coming?"
"Um... Can I just sleep here?" June asks meekly.
Nakita raises an eyebrow, a smirk playing on her lips. "Sleep here? Why?" she teases, her voice filled with amusement.
June's blush deepens, and he nervously tugs at the hem of his shirt. "Well, I mean... if it's alright with you. I don't want to intrude or anything,"
"You're not intruding, глупый(silly)," Nakita says, crossing her arms and stifling her laughter.
"I... I just don't want to make you uncomfortable..."
"Uncomfortable? Why would you think that?"
"It's just that...i've only really shared a room with Tian…" June explains, skirting around his point.
“So?” Nakita says in a deadpan tone before crossing her arms. “Just spit it out all ready.”
He avoids making direct eye contact with Nakita, his words coming out in a soft, hesitant tone. "I've never really... slept in the same bed as a woman before. It's just... different for me.”
Nakita scoffs and walks back over to the couch, her hand reaching out to gently rest on his arm. "June, you're my husband, before any of this happened you slept next to me a million times. It's really not a big deal."
June's gaze finally meets Nakita's, "I know, but... it just feels…different "
Nakita's touch becomes more firm, her fingers lightly squeezing his arm. Nakita lets out a disappointed groan playing it off as a sigh, "I understand, June."
June's blush begins to fade, replaced by a flicker of hope. "You really don't mind?"
Nakita smiles warmly, her voice filled with affection. "Of course not. I want you to feel comfortable and safe here. If this is where you want to sleep for right right now, then that's perfectly fine. But just know that you're always welcome to join me in my bed."
June's eyes widen, a mix of surprise and gratitude washing over him. "Thank you, Nakita. I... I appreciate your understanding."
Nakita's hand moves from his arm to cup his cheek, her touch gentle offering reassurance. "You don't have to thank me, June. We're in this together, remember?”
“R-right” he says while blushing. “Goodnight, Nakita.”
She wraps her arms around him bringing him closer before kissing his cheek and whispering “goodnight моя любовь(my love)” her hand trails off off June and the couch as she walks over to and up the stairs smiling back at June before disappearing out of sight.
June gently touches his flushed cheek as he gazes up at the second floor. A sudden urge to join her washes over him, but he quickly turns towards the TV. "It all seems so familiar...yet so strange," June ponders silently as he lays back on a pillow. "I wish I could remember...my past, my wife, my life..." he whispers to himself before drifting off to sleep.
Nakita approached her bed, where a purple velvet gown was sprawled out. With a disappointed expression, she picked it up and examined it. After changing out of her day clothes, she slipped into the gown and admired herself in the mirror. Her smile widened as she glanced at the shiny fabric before turning towards the door. She made her way over to the door, grabbing her robe and throwing it on.
Nakita glided gracefully towards the banister on the second floor, draped in the luxurious robe. Her eyes filled with wonder, she leans forward, captivated by the serene sight of June sleeping soundly downstairs. Resting her chin on her hand, she keeps a vigilant watch. Eventually, her hand slips away, finding a comfortable spot on her lap before it leisurely slides underneath her robe.
Nakita's mischievous smirk grows wider as she slyly watches June. In an unexpected moment, a soft gasp slips out from between her lips, prompting her to instantly muffle it. Glancing downwards, she notices that June remains peacefully asleep. Concealing her excitement with a hand pressed against her mouth, Nakita continues to relish in her private amusement. Her hand quickened its pace, causing her knees to wobble and tremble.
Lost in the moment, Nakita's breath quickens as her fingers dance over her body, teasing and tantalizing. The thrill of the forbidden act only adds to the excitement, fueling her desire even more. With each touch, she feels a surge of pleasure building within her, threatening to consume her completely.
Nakita removes her hand from her robe and swiftly makes her way to the bottom floor. Quietly, she tiptoes towards June, her arms wrapped around herself as she catches her breath. "He's asleep," she whispers to herself. Without hesitation, she extends her hand towards June's abdomen. However, she quickly stops herself, grabbing her own wrist and pulling it back. "Not now," she murmurs softly.
Nakita's heart raced as she stood there, her mind filled with conflicting emotions. The desire to touch June, to feel his warmth against her fingertips, was overwhelming. she knew she couldn't give in to her impulses, not now. Not when the stakes were so high.
She took a step back, her eyes never leaving June's peaceful face. Her hands instinctively moved to her lower abdomen, but she quickly retracted them, averting her eyes. "I'll…wait till morning,” Deep in thought, she faces away from June. Walking past the couch, she trailed her hand along it, barely grazing Junes' head as she made her way upstairs to her room.
After a long night, the morning sunlight stirred June awake from his slumber, quickly shielding his eyes in panic. As he came to his senses, memories of the previous day flooded back. Sitting up, he extended his arms in a stretch and caught a whiff of mouthwatering food wafting through the air. His gaze shifted towards the kitchen, where he saw Nakita donned in a stunning dark purple robe and velvet nightgown in front of the oven.
Nakita's short tousled hair gave her a carefree and effortless look, as if she had just woken up. The gentle morning sunlight streamed through the window, enveloping her pale complexion with a radiant warmth. It framed her face in such a way that June couldn't help but feel his heart skip a beat. As Nakita turned towards him, her eyes shimmered with a mischievous twinkle, and a playful smile appearing on her lips, adding to her irresistible charm.
Nakita greets June with a gentle yawn, clearly still half asleep. Her tired voice carries a touch of sweetness as she says, "Good morning, соня(sleepyhead.)” June's face lights up with a warm smile at her words. “I made breakfast for you.” Nakita gestures towards the bar table, pulling out a stool as she invites him to sit. Slowly, June rises from the couch and makes his way towards the kitchen. Nakita walks beside him, affectionately rubbing his back to guide him to the chair.
June settled into his seat, eagerly watching as Nakita placed a mountain of food on his plate. She hurried back with his plate, setting it down in front of him and taking her seat across from him.
"Is all of this for me?" June asked in disbelief.
Nakita smiled happily and nodded. "And there's even more if you want seconds," she added, placing his silverware next to his plate. June's face lights up with joy as he starts cutting into his pancakes, while Nakita gazes at him affectionately. June eagerly takes his first bite and his eyes light up.
“Wow, this is amazing!” June exclaims as he hurriedly devours his meal. Nakita tries to hide her grin and turns away.
“I'm so happy you enjoy it,” she responds cheerfully.
“You used to criticize my cooking all the time...pretending it was awful...and now here you are...” Nakita thought to herself, her smile fading into a scowl.
June glances at Nakita, noticing her irritated expression. “Is everything okay, Kita?” She looks up at him. “D-did I...do something wrong?” he asks timidly.
Nakita's eyes widened in surprise, "Oh, no, not at all," she assured him quickly changing expressions. She leans in closer, gently stroking his cheek with a reassuring smile. "It's nothing, really. Just keep enjoying your meal.” June nervously returns the smile and resumes eating.
While June enjoyed his meal, he couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong with Nakita. He pondered on what could be bothering her, desperately hoping that he wasn't the reason behind it all. With each passing moment, his nervousness increased, causing him to pick at his food anxiously.
Suddenly, Nakita rises from her seat and approaches June from behind, gently placing her hands on his shoulders. Caught off guard, he tenses up. Before he can even turn around, Nakita leans into him, allowing her weight to rest against him as she affectionately snuggles with his head. June froze up, losing his grip on his fork. Nakita's embrace grew tighter as she leaned in close to his ear.
"June?" she murmured softly, her breath sending shivers down his spine. June fumbled over his words, avoiding eye contact as he focused on his plate. Nakita smirked, enjoying seeing June's nervousness in her embrace. With a sly grin, she trailed her hands from his chest to his stomach, inching closer to his lap. Just before she could reach any further, a loud knock echoed from the front door, causing Nakita to freeze with her hand suspended in mid-air above June's zipper.
June and Nakita glance over at the hallway simultaneously. "Keep eating," Nakita whispers playfully, her arms still wrapped around June's neck. Reluctantly, she releases her grip and walks over to the entrance, her face clearly etched with irritation. As she nears the door, she hastily adjusts her robe. Opening the door and peeking her head out slightly, she spots Anya.
“Good morning, sis!” Anya chirps happily. “How was your night? Is June feeling better?” She attempts to peek past the door, but Nakita blocks her view.
Nakita responds with a monotone, “He's fine.”
“Oh…that’s good to hear. Mind if I say hello?” Anya asked while still trying to look over Nakita to see how June is doing.
“He is still resting,” Nakita pulls the door slightly. Anya notices Nakita being defensive, but decides not to push it.
“um alright…I'll take your word for it…by the way, Adam mentioned they gathered all of June's stuff from the worksite and their boss needs someone to pick it up later….” Anya mentions, trailing off as she notices Nakita's robe peeking out from behind the door. “But if you're busy I can just ask Adam or Tian to bring it by after their shift.”
Nakita released a frustrated sigh and rolled her eyes, "Just hold on a sec, I'll be right out," she quickly stated before shutting the door on her bewildered sister. June looked over at the hallway after hearing the door slam. He could hear Nakita swearing and angrily mumbling something as she made her way back towards the kitchen.
“Is everything okay?” June questioned, leaning over to get a look down the hallway. Nakita came around the corner unexpectedly, catching June off guard.
"I unfortunately have to run a quick errand," Nakita says while approaching him. June looks away as Nakita stands over him, annoyance clear on her face once again.
"Really? I can tag along," June offers, rising from his seat slowly.
"No," Nakita firmly states, causing June to promptly sit back down."I'll be back within an hour, so stay put, alright?" She gently brushes the hair away from June's face.
“Y-yes…Nakita.” June says as he looks back down. Nakita walks away and heads upstairs to their room. She lays her robe on her side of the bed and then loosens her straps, letting her gown gracefully fall to her ankles before changing into casual clothes.
As she heads back to the door, she adds, "Oh…and don't answer the door while I'm gone." He nods and she gives him a warm smile. As the door closes behind her, he can't help but feel a twinge of sadness as the sound echoes through the empty house. With a heavy sigh, he rose from his seat and collected their plates, making his way to the sink. As he washed the dishes, his gaze wandered towards the staircase, hidden from view. A sense of curiosity came over him, wondering what else could be in the house. Placing the dishes down, June approached the stairs, hesitating for a moment.
"She wouldn't mind if I took a look around, right?" he mused aloud, gradually making his way up the steps.
Anya’s car came to a halt just outside of a fenced in construction site, “I texted Adam that we are here, Tian and him will bring his stuff over” Anya said, never looking up from her phone. Nakita stares out the window with an impatient look in her eye. They hear a knock on the window and Nakita quickly turns hoping to see Adam or Tian but instead Èdith was standing there waving to them. Anya smiled and rolled down their window to greet her. "Good morning, Anya! Good morning Naki" she exclaims cheerfully. Nakita sighs and looks the other way.
"Um...hi, Èdith...we are a bit bus-" Nakita begins before being interrupted.
"How's June? Tian has been really worried about him," Èdith says, her own expression filled with worry.
"He's alright..." Nakita responds hastily, her eyes still fixed on the office trailer door just a few feet away, but seemingly out of reach.
"That's fantastic! When do you think Tian and I can come by to check on him? I was thinking I could bring some of his favorite snacks and Tian could share some old photos or maybe..." Èdith trails off, lost in thought.
"Actually...I'm gonna need to keep an eye on June for a little while. I don't know when he’ll be ready to see people"
"Aww," Èdith says sadly, "okay...but please let us know when he can have visitors, alright?" She says, flashing a smile.
"Of course," Nakita chuckles softly. "I'm actually here to pick up June's stuff. Can you tell Tian and Adam to…hurry up?"
"Oh, absolutely." Èdith says with a giggle. She walks over to the office and heads inside.
Nakita breathed a sigh of relief and went back to looking out the window. Anya looked over at her sister and asked, “Is everything okay Naki? You seem distracted.”
“Just worried about June…I don't want to keep him waiting for long.”
“Well why didn't you bring him with you?” Anya tilted her head with a confused expression.
Nakita looks over at Anya with an expression that says ‘really?’, before turning back to the window. “He was getting overwhelmed when he was sitting in the hospital. I don't need him freaking out over a simple errand…he's probably fine…I'm overthinking it.
Anya glances at the office and sees Èdith walking back over to them with Tian and Adam, with Junes' tool belt thrown over his shoulder. “Hey Anya” Adam says while waving. Anya smiled and waved back at him. Adam leans into the car where they share a loving kiss. Adam looks over and sees Nakita with an annoyed expression. He takes a step back from the car and nervously waves. “Hey…Nakita…didn't see you there.” she glares at Adam and he quickly looks away. “I'll just…put this in the back.” He walks to the trunk of the car.
“Hey Naki…how's June?” Tian looks at the back seat before looking back at Nakita, “where is he?” He asked in a concerned tone.
“At home. I told him I wouldn't be out long.”
“You left him alone!?”
“It's fine Tian. He's not gonna go anywhere.”
“You don't know that!” He says in a loud tone before groaning. “This is the exact reason I didn't want you to look after him.”
“Excuse me? I would've been back there to check on him by now if you and Adam hadn't dragged your feet.”
Èdith steps between tian and the car door. “Guys…let's not make a scene here please…” Èdith says quietly while pointing at the passing employees who are staring at the group.
They both roll their eyes and look away from one another. “I'm gonna call to check in with June later…just make sure he picks up his phone. I threw it in his tool belt.”
“Whatever” Nakita says while still looking away. Tian walks away from the car and back towards the office with Èdith walking just behind him.
Adam walks up to the driver side window, “all set babe.” He says quickly before tapping the top of the car.
“Thank you Adam,” Anya says before kissing him. “Call me after work okay?” Adam nods while waving goodbye as Ayna's departing car pulls away from the worksite.
Back at the house June wandered the halls with delight as he explored the upper floor of the house. "Damn, Kita and I have a lot of stuff" he mused aloud. Moving down the hallway, he encountered a series of doors. Eager to investigate, he attempted to enter the first one, only to find it stubbornly immovable.
Perplexed, June brow rose. Undeterred, he turned his attention to the next door and cautiously peeked inside. To his surprise, he discovered a slightly disheveled guest room. "Did someone stay here with us?" he wondered aloud. Closing the door, he redirected his curiosity towards the grand double doors at the end of the hallway.
With a sense of anticipation, June pulled open the doors, revealing a beautifully preserved vintage master bedroom. "Wow," he exclaimed, stepping into the room. As he took a few steps, he suddenly felt something soft brush against his foot. Glancing down, he noticed the plush carpet beneath him. Filled with joy, he continued to explore the room, admiring its charm and character.
Making his way towards the bathroom, June was awestruck by its spaciousness. He carefully placed his foot on a tile, only to quickly retract it as the coldness sent a shiver down his spine. Chuckling to himself, he turned around and his eyes landed on the cozy fireplace and the large TV positioned in front of the bed. Walking up to the television, a thought crossed his mind, "Why does she have a smaller screen downstairs but a colossal one in here?" Curiosity piqued, he turned around and noticed a vibrant purple cloth lying on the ground.
June couldn't resist picking it up, holding it up to examine it closely. Suddenly, a realization washed over him, causing his cheeks to flush with embarrassment - it was Nakita's gown from earlier.
“I guess this is Nakita's room," he comments, glancing away from the garment. Dropping the gown back on the floor where he found it, he takes a step back. "Why would she just leave something like that out?" June plops down on the bed, letting out a sigh. Bouncing a few times, he notices how incredibly soft it is. June stretches and lets out a big yawn. "So soft…" he murmurs, rolling over onto the bed. "Gosh, if I had known it was this comfy, I wouldn't have slept on the couch…” His voice trails off as he drifts off into slumber.
Nakita walks through the front door, after waving off her sister she hurriedly shuts and locks it, releasing a sigh of relief. "June... I'm home," she announces, her voice tinged with weariness. Kicking off her shoes and dropping Junes' tool belt, she walks into the kitchen, expecting June to be waiting for her at the table. However, to her surprise, he is nowhere in sight. Her eyes fall upon the sink, a smile forming on her lips as she notices that he had washed both their plates and tidied up. With a slight tinge of apprehension, she turns to face the living room, her eyes scanning the surroundings in search of June. "June?" she calls out, her voice hinting at a touch of worry.
Nakita ascends the stairs gracefully, her eyes fixed on the hallway. As she reaches the top, her eyes widen at the sight of their bedroom door ajar causing a surge of adrenaline courses through her veins. She approaches the door cautiously, inching it open, her senses on high alert. Slowly, she surveys the room, her gaze finally landing on June, deep in slumber on her side of the bed. A warm smile spreads across her face, and she can't help but let out an affectionate sigh.
"Oh, June," Nakita murmurs, her voice filled with adoration, as she tip-toes over to him, sitting down beside his head. Her gentle touch sweeps away the stray locks obscuring his handsome face. She leans in and whispers, "You silly Мужчина(man), sleeping on the couch when you could have been here with me all along." Before, kissing his forehead. Nakita let out a gleeful giggle as she gracefully rose to her feet. Snatching her robe and gown from the edge of the bed and throwing them over to the hamper. Giving her shirt a quick sniff, she shrugged and began unbuttoning it.
Swiftly, she discarded it into the hamper, followed by her bra. Nakita peered at her reflection in the mirror, observing herself intently as she slid her pants and panties down and stepped out of them. She couldn't resist caressing herself, playfully exploring her own body. After stepping out of her pants and panties, she made her way towards the closet, retrieving a plush bath towel.
Quietly, she entered the bathroom and gently closed the door behind her. Stepping into the shower, she turned on the water, its soothing sound gradually rousing June from his slumber. As he came too he sat up in bed, rubbing the exhaustion out of his eyes. His gaze shifted towards the closed bathroom door where the sound of running water was coming from. A familiar humming sound from Nakita echoed through the room. "Nakita? She….must have just got back…” Wondering why she hadn't greeted him, he swung his legs over the edge of the bed and stood up. As he did, he felt something warm and damp underneath his foot. Looking down, he realized he had stepped on Nakita's panties. With a startled expression, he retreated back onto the bed.
The sound of the shower shutting off startled him more, causing him to tumble off the side of the bed. In a panic, June scurried into the closet, seeking shelter from the unexpected chaos.
He hears Nakita's footsteps approaching. He frantically tries to think of an excuse for why he's hiding in the closet. The door creaks open, and Nakita's voice calls out, "June? Are you in here?”
“June?” She called out once more, draping her towel securely around her. Stepping towards the bed where he lay sleeping a moment ago, she glanced around the room. Peeking into the hallway for any signs of him, she then made her way to the dresser to pick out some fresh clothes. Just as she began to loosen her towel, a noise from the closet made her jump.
Turning towards the closet with a puzzled expression, she noticed June's hand peeking out slightly. A mischievous grin spread across her face. “June…” she purred in a seductive and commanding tone. June's heart sank as he quickly curled up, hiding his hands and knees, desperately hoping that Nakita wouldn't spot him. "I know you're in there, June," she teased, her voice filled with playful mischief.
"Come out where I can see you." With each step she took towards the closet, June's anxiety grew as he frantically tried to think of an excuse for why he's hiding in the closet.
"What are you doing in there?" she asks, a hint of amusement in her voice.
June blushes even more, feeling foolish. "I, uh, I was just... looking for something," he mumbles, unable to meet her gaze.
Nakita chuckles softly. "You don't have to hide from me, June," she says gently. “Come over here.”
June cautiously peeks out of the closet, seeing a smile on her face, she beckons him to come closer. Gradually, he emerges from the closet, taking small steps towards her. As he draws near, Nakita extends her hand towards him. His hand trembles slightly before reaching out to meet hers. Suddenly, Nakita hand lurched forward, firmly grasps his wrist, pulling him towards her, their bodies now pressed against each other.
June lets out a small yelp, his eyes widening as he stares at Nakita’s hand. June's mind races, unsure of what exactly is happening. Her smile widens, revealing a hint of playfulness as she leans in closer, her warm breath tickling his cheek. June attempts to retreat, but Nakita firmly tugs him closer, pressing her forehead against his. He flinches as Nakita grip on his wrist tightens, her touch sending shivers down his spine.
Nakita walks towards June, forcefully shoving him against the dresser until he's pinned against it. "I-I'm so sorry," he stutters, pinned against the mirror. "I didn't mean to..." Without letting June finish, Nakita grabs his head and pulls him into a passionate, messy kiss. Her towel loosens and falls to the floor behind her, June's face flushes crimson. He pulls away from the kiss, averting his eyes from Nakita's exposed body. "K-kita! Y-your towel!”
Nakita playfully asks, "Why are you looking away?" with a grin on her face. She gently redirects his gaze towards her and leans in to continue their intense kiss. As their lips touch, June feels her leg grazing against his as her knee rises while she guides his hands to encircle her waist. She runs her fingers up his chest, then down to his arms, before wrapping her arms around his neck, pulling him closer into their passionate embrace. The warmth of their bodies pressed against each other sends goose bumps up June's arms.
He deepens the kiss, losing himself in the feeling of Nakita's lips moving against his. The world around them fades away as they become lost in the intensity of their connection. Their kiss deepens further, becoming more urgent and desperate, as if they are trying to consume each other in that moment of passion. It feels like they are the only two people in the world, locked in a dance of desire and need. Finally, they break apart, their breathing heavy and their bodies still pressed close together. June fumbled with his words, glancing nervously at Nakita who was now blushing.
Nakita gazed at him blankly, her mind racing with ideas. Slowly, she slid her hand from his neck to his collar, gripping it firmly as she slowly backpedaled towards the bed.
Confusion etched across his face, June timidly called out, "K... Kita?" She stood in front of him, guiding him to sit on the bed. As June looked up, he couldn't help but stare at Nakita’s figure as she towered above him, his face turning more red by the second. Nakita bit her lip as she gazed down at him, a hint of anticipation in her eyes. Slowly, she lifted her leg, and placed her knee on the bed. June flinches as her hand lands on his leg and she starts crawling towards him
In a panic, June starts backing away but is stopped after bumping into their head board as she closes in on him. With a firm grip on his leg, she caused him to freeze in place. As she climbed up his legs to his knees, she sat up straight, once again towering over him, her gaze fixed on him. “Снимите это.”(Take that off) She says as she reaches forward, and grabs his shirt.
She aggressively removes and tosses it across the room. June covered his bare chest and shyly curled up, sinking as low as he could go. "Why so shy?" Nakita purred, her hands resting on his knees. "Are you embarrassed, or…are you hiding something?" she teased, pushing June's legs apart and noticing his undeniable erection. June quickly shields his lap with his hands, and attempts to close his legs.
However, Nakita holds his legs open, letting out a mischievous chuckle. "No need to hide it, Моя любовь(my love)," She teases, leaning into the gap between his legs. She gently nudges June's hands moving them aside. Placing her palm on his exposed chest, she softly murmurs, "Just... relax" June squirms as Nakita delicately traces a line from his chest to the edge of his pants with her finger. Nakita effortlessly undid the buttons on his pants, gliding the zipper down slowly relishing every second.
A gasp of excitement escaped her lips as she delicately revealed his manhood, making June turn away in humiliation, but still feeling Nakita's gaze on him. "It's been awhile…," she mumbled under her breath, as her hand gently encircled his manhood. June's stifled moans escaped his lips as she started to stroke his member. Overwhelmed with shame, he desperately tried to suppress his pleasure-filled sounds by covering his face with pillows he was surrounded by. But with every moan that slipped through, the mischievous grin spread across Nakita's lips grew bigger.
She continued her ministrations, her touch becoming more urgent and intense as she felt him growing harder in her hands. Her excitement grew with each gasp and moan that escaped June's lips, her own desire building as she watched. Meanwhile, June's heart raced with a mixture of desire and embarrassment, unsure of how to react to the intimate situation unfolding before him. Nakita's boldness both thrilled and terrified him, leaving him feeling exposed and vulnerable in a way he had never experienced before.
"Na...kita...slow...down…”he moaned, desperately seeking her attention. With a half-hearted wave in front of her, he hoped she would notice, but instead, she gently clasped his hand and guided it to rest on her chest. June's body tensed and his breath quickened, Nakita knew he was on the edge. With a final, tantalizing stroke, she pushed him over the edge, sending him spiraling into a wave of pleasure that left him breathless and spent.
As he lay there, panting and sated, Nakita leaned in close, her lips brushing against his ear as she whispered, "It's been too long, my love. Let's make up for lost time." And with a wicked gleam in her eye, she firmly pulled off his pants and boxers, tossing them aside. June tries to cover up, but Nakita blocks his hands when she wraps her arms around his legs and drags him to the middle of the bed.
"Kita! Hold up a second!" he exclaimed, but Nakita paid no attention. She spread his legs apart, licked her lips, resembling a ravenous beast. She aggressively grabbed his member and began tantalizing sucking the tip of his manhood. A deep moan escaped his lips as he clutched the bedsheets, overwhelmed by the intense pleasure coursing through his body. Every flick of Nakita's tongue seemed to melt him away, leaving him yearning for more. With an audible pop, Nakita released him from her mouth, gasping for air. However, his momentary respite was short-lived as she eagerly attempted to resume her passionate endeavor.
June pushed against her head, hoping to slow her down, but his efforts were in vain as she only intensified her pace. The room filled with the sounds of her occasional gagging, causing June to blush with a mix of excitement and apprehension. Nakita firmly gripped June's thighs while taking June's member deep into her mouth, teasing the back of her throat. June couldn't deny the overwhelming pleasure that Nakita's mouth was bringing him. Her movements were expertly calculated, driving him to the brink of ecstasy with each swirl of her tongue. As he felt himself nearing the edge, he struggled to maintain his composure, his breath coming in ragged gasps.
Nakita suddenly pulled away, a mischievous glint in her eyes. June groaned in frustration, his body aching for the release that had been so close. Before he could protest, Nakita climbed on top of him. Their eyes met as she wrapped her arm around the back of his head, pulling him close against her chest. She lowered her hips on top of June and began to sway her hips back and forth.
A soft moan escapes Nakita's mouth, as she feels June twitch beneath her. His muffled moans against her chest only fueled her arousal with each motion. Her grip tightened, pulling him in closer as her movement intensified. Pushing June's face deeper into her bosom, her breast slapping and smothering him. June couldn't help but feel like Nakita would squeeze the life out of him if she continued.
With a sudden burst of energy, she moved her hands to his shoulders and pulled him upright, sitting him straight up. Nakita grabbed his hair, tilting his head back, and passionately kissed him, overpowering his tongue. His hands found their place on her hips, holding her close. Breaking away from the kiss, Nakita whispered, "don't be shy." before taking his hand and guiding it to her breast, while kissing his neck.
Not stopping there, she pulled his other hand in-between them, placing it on her moist lips, guiding his fingers to rub between her legs. Nakita's moans escaped uncontrollably as June's finger effortlessly slipped inside. She drew him nearer, sinking her teeth into his neck and playfully nibbling on his skin, while he skillfully unleashed waves of ecstasy throughout her entire being. With each additional finger June inserted and the pace he quickened, Nakita's moans grew more intense, resonating through the room. As the pleasure consumed her, she arched her back, her mind going blank.
Her hands glided from his neck to his back, yearning for his touch, pulling him closer, craving even more. She kissed him passionately while sinking back onto the mattress. Her legs part, one curling around June's waist, beckoning him closer. Their bodies almost touching, she breaks the kiss and caresses June's blushing cheek. "June..." she moans, sensually before wetting her hand with her tongue and guiding it down to his member. June shakes as she rubs him against herself, she could sense him pulling away from her warm embrace.
"Are you sure…this is okay, Nakita?" June asks nervously, his eyes reflecting his mixed emotions despite his physical desire. Nakita looks into his eyes, her own filled with desire and longing.
She leans forward and grabs the back of his neck pulling him in close, their face inches apart. "I've never been more sure of anything in my life," she whispers, her voice filled with desire. June could feel the gentle tug from Nakita, urging him closer.
His voice trembles “ki…kita..” June shyly utters as he feels himself entering slowly. A mischievous smile grew across Nakita's lips as she intertwined her legs, swiftly pulling June deeper into her embrace. With a primal roar, she let out a passionate moan, her nails leave a trail of scratches on his back as she clings onto him tightly. Her moans easily overpower June's own pleasure-filled cry. Nakita's breath came in heavy gasps as she leaned against June, savoring a pleasure she hadn't experienced in ages.
Timidly, June asked, his breath still ragged, "Kita... Are you ok?" Nakita pressed her head against his, finding solace in his presence. Her eyes seemed on the verge of rolling back in ecstasy. "Don't stop…” June reluctantly nods as he thrust forward. Both of their voices echoed off the walls as their passionate moans filled the room. The sensation of her tight heat enveloping him sent his mind spiraling.
As Nakita moaned his name and held him tightly, June felt a surge of confidence. He increased his pace, eliciting an excited moan from Nakita's lips. "Such vigor…" she purred, her hands exploring his chest. Overwhelmed by desire, June pulled Nakita into a passionate, messy kiss, their tongues battling for dominance. Her legs tightened around his back, urging him to quicken his pace. With each passing moment, the kiss grew deeper, fueling the fiery passion between them.
Breaking away from the kiss, June's hands found their way to Nakita's breasts. With a mischievous grin, he buried his face between them, playfully motorboating her. A small giggle escaped Nakita's lips, adding to the intoxicating atmosphere.
Her giggle quickly transformed into sharp moans as June's tongue traced circles around her nipple. Nakita cupped her breasts, urging him to suck on them. His tongue dragged across her sensitive flesh, causing her to shudder. "S...stop being a tease, June," she managed to say, her face flushed with desire. Looking up at her, June grabbed her breast and eagerly sucked on her nipple. Nakita let out a loud yelp, quickly covering her mouth, but her grip on the back of June's head only tightened, pulling him closer.
“Y..you haven't done that in so…long!” She exclaimed, her voice strained. Gently, she guided June's head towards her other breast, savoring his nibbles and suckling. As he pleasured her, she couldn't help but pinch and caress her other breast, savoring the sensations. With a blissful expression, she gazed at the ceiling, her head moving in rhythm with June's passionate thrusts. In that moment, she felt like she was in heaven, wishing it would never end.
Nakita felt June begin to tremble and slow down. Swiftly, she uncrosses her legs and rolls on top of him. Leaning back, she separates her breasts from June's mouth, leaving a glistening trail of saliva. Both of them breathe heavily, their eyes locked in a passionate gaze. With anticipation, June watches as Nakita's hand firmly grasps his member. Slowly, she lifts herself up and lowers herself onto him, causing both of them to moan.
Nakita continues with her passionate movements, while June gazes at her in admiration as she tenderly satisfies him. Extending her arms, she beckons him to join her in an embrace. June wastes no time in leaning in, nestling his head in her bosom and enveloping her in his arms. Nakita then rests her head on his, maintaining her rhythmic motions as she rides on his lap.
Nakita could sense her climax approaching rapidly, and she knew that June was also reaching his limit. She rose up slowly and then came down forcefully. June's reaction was immediate - he jerked and let out a moan. Nakita gently pulled his head towards her, enveloping him in her embrace. "Don't hold back," she whispered, nibbling on his ear before repeating the motion. Suddenly, she heard June's voice filled with pleasure as he squealed and moaned her name.
Overwhelmed by her desires, she picks up speed, leaning back and bringing June on top of her. An ecstatic moan escapes his lips as their hips collide with intensity. The anticipation builds, and he can feel the surge of ecstasy building within him. And then, with one final powerful thrust, June's passion bursts forth, releasing a culmination of pleasure deep inside Nakita's core.
Nakita cried out in ecstasy, her body shuddering as she came. Their moans blending together, as he fell onto her, completely satisfied. June rolled away from Nakita, settling beside her. She gazed at June, observing him as he gazed at the ceiling, breathing rapidly. Despite loving every moment, she couldn't shake the feeling of guilt for manipulating June. Her responsibility was to care for him and help him recover his memories, yet here they were, tangled in the sheets, lost in the moment.
“June…” she calls out softly. He turns to look at her, a bit dazed. "How…was it? Did you enjoy it?" she asks, blushing slightly and looking anxious.
"Um...I...I..." June stammers before averting his gaze. Nakita's expression quickly shifts from worried to mortified. He rolls onto his side to face her. Their eyes meet, his are filled with gratitude and longing. "I...loved it," he says with a happy, loving tone. Nakita's heart skips a beat as she hears his words.
“C..can we do that again?” he asked shyly, his cheeks blushing red.
Nakita chuckles and playfully turns towards him, gently stroking his cheek. "Of course we can, my love," she whispers, her face glowing with affection. With a tender smile, she leans in to kiss him, pulling him closer as they nestle into each other's arms. June finds solace in her embrace, drifting off to sleep with a contented heart.
