There was a young teenage boy who decided to take a nightly stroll in the woods. When a normal person would think it would be dangerous to do something like that, he found it relaxing. His name is Kyle Nova.

While taking the stroll, a weird looking portal appeared out of nowhere! He thought this was bizarre, as any other person would think. As soon as he was about to walk away, the portal was already sucking him in. And before he knew it, everything went black.

It was morning time, and Kyle found himself laying in the middle of the woods.

"Ugh... What happened? Did I fall asleep?" Kyle asked himself. He then remembered what happened last time. "Was... that a dream? It has to be, how else would anything explain that? Portals like that usually happen in comics or movies. It rarely happens in real life, right?" He continued to deny the portal incident and play it off as just a dream.

He decided to walk back home, his parents would be very worried by now. As he walked home, he was still worrying about his weird dream. While looking around at the other townspeople, he realized something was a bit off.

There was this girl who looked almost like one of his friends, Daniel. There was no denying she looked a lot like him, but the thing is, Daniel is not a girl, obviously. So how can a girl look like him? She even wore the same outfit Daniel would wear!

But that incident wasn't the only one, he realized there other people who looked almost exactly like people he knew. And the same thing happened again: they were the opposite gender! But it's weird, they may look like them, but they act differently. The female Daniel was awake in the morning and seemed like she was buying groceries. The Daniel he knew would sleep in and ignore his chores.

Did Daniel have a twin sister? No, he would have known. Daniel is his best friend. He would've seen this girl a lot, so why is he only seeing her just now?

Anyway, Kyle decided to continue going home. Once he made it there, he knocked on the door. His parents opened the door. But the thing is, they weren't his parents. They do look like his parents, but it's just like the Daniel incident, they looked like the opposite gender. But it's strange, they look so much like his parents. What is going on?

"Hello, who are you?" The mother asked.

"Oh, I'm sorry! I must've gotten the wrong house. I'll go now. Bye!" And with that, Kyle left the parents confused.

Kyle did not know what to do. That had to be his house! Should he go back? Should he talk to the female Daniel? What was the best choice of action?

Kyle ended up going back to where he started, the woods. Maybe later he could think of a plan. Maybe he could try and make sense of the entire thing. Could all of this just be a dream? But if this is a dream, would the portal be a dream within a dream? Then he thought of something, "Could the portal have been real?"

He couldn't believe that the portal actually did happen. Then, if that was real, could he have entered an alternative world? Everything seemed normal, its just that the people he knew were different. That could be the only logical solution! But he still couldn't believe something like this happening. Yet he still had to settle with that. It's the only thing that makes the most sense. So if he made it here, is there a way to go back home? How can he do that? Maybe talking to a somewhat familiar face would help him.
