As time passed by and the sun rose and fell hundreds or even thousands of times, the creature eventually began to awaken again. 'Ahh, that was great! I slept like a newborn baby!' The creature thought. As its sensations returned though far more potent before, it realized that something was different. 'Wait... I can feel? No not just feel, I can see. As it opened its eyes, it noticed something. "Why is everything dark and blurry? And Nnnggg!... tight too?' It pondered. Soon realizing that it felt as if it was wrapped up in something warm and tight. 'Ack! Too tight! I need out!' As it became more aware of itself, the creature started to panic, flailing and thrashing itself around in an attempt to escape its confinement.
As it flailed harder, the walls of it cell began to unravel. The sound of ripping and tearing could be heard until light started streaming into the chamber. With light came sight and with sight it could finally see where it was. With a buff the creature shoved off the walls of its prison and then it was free! All of the walls that confined it fell, revealing, not a city, or a jail cell, but a clearing. Before the creatures eyes was a glade, a flat open area, several acres wide of vibrant green grass surrounded by the thickest fence of trees it had ever seen, with it at the center.
'Ahh! What a sight to see! What a scent smell, what a feeling to feel! IM ALIVE AGAIN!' It thought, stretching its arms wide and its torso tall, basking in the feeling of the wind and sun on its greenish skin. 'Wait... green skin?' It thought. 'GAH! WHAT THE FUCK!'
As it began to indpecits its body, the creature discovered that it was no longer what it once was. Greenish skin like the freshest vegetables. Strangely instead of having legs, it was only human looking from the waist up. The creature was essentially growing from the center of a massive flower. 'Holy shit this is weird! Not only sm I attached to this plant, I am also 8 years old again? Or maybe I just look 8 by appearance... hmmm this is troubling' it thought. With a look of wonder and a slight bit of fear, it scanned across its body from any difference it could find. Though the last thing it noticed was that it was growing out of a massive fanged... pumpkin?
'Well apparently this is my existence now! Just great... fuck my life!' It thought. Being unable to move from its position on the pumpkins stem, it could only sit there and wallow in it's own self pity. At further inspection of its surroundings, the creature was able to figure out a little more about itself. That being that, not only is it young, but the pumpkin it is growing from is young itself. Despite the fact that is is simply massive for what it is, it is still WAY too young to be considered a ripe, edible pumpkin. Green through and through.
'So does that mean that I have more time to grow?' It pondered. Even now it could feel itself stretching out in different places. The leaves at its waist growing wider, the pumpkin inflated itself slowing with air and dew. Even the skin and bones of its body were stretching out. 'Mmmm yes. That feels nice, maybe I should just push all of that to the side. At least for now until i get my bearings' stretching out its arms and spine, cracking sounds as well as the sound of fresh bark creaking could be heard coming from its body. 'Damn that is amazing! I have never felt this nice in my life' with that thought it finished its stretching and the entirety of its fibrous body lower half expanded as far as it currently could.

After hours of pondering on its situation and letting its body stretch out and absorb sunlight, the creatures flower petals had expanded out to double there size from when they had opened up. From 2 feet long base to tip, each petal had stretched itself out to a total of 4 feet. 'Ah that is so much better. Strangely, I can feel the wind on my petals though only the inner ones' noticing that it could feel more then just the human like parts of its body, it passed its hands through its petals and acrossed the stranged stem it grew from, though it's short arms made it hard to it to reach very far.
'Ahh well this is going to be a hassle. I guess all I can do is deal with it for now... *yawn!* I guess it's time for a nap...' after having been awake for a while the creature felt tired. Being so young had its issues, one of them being that it had such low stamina. Without another thought, the creature fell asleep. Closing its eyes, it slumped forward with its arms in front of it. Laying on its stomach atop its petals, it settled down for a long peaceful nap. That is until just 2 hours later it heard something. The sound of flapping wings and loud cawing could be heard. "CAAWWW, CAWWW!" Startled awake, the creature twisted itself atop its stem to search for what was making such a racket, only to find a tiny bird atop its pumpkin. 'Well that is strange. How can such a tiny bird be so damn loud. Shoo, SHOO! Get off me' with a wave out its arms the creature tried to shoo the bird away, only for it to step around its arms and nip at its fingers, causing it to bleed a dark green sap from the wound on its thumb. 'Ah! YOU LITTLE SHIT!' With a loom of anger on its face, the creature tried to outright smack the little bird away, only to get its wrists raked by a pair of sharp talons. 'AH THAT HURTS!' Now thoroughly scared of this aggressive little bird, the creature had managed to activate one of its instinctual defenses. From within the seam of its flower, the creature released a small cloud of pollen into the air, causing the little bird to breath it in and fall asleep. As the little bird layed atop its feathers, the creature looked at it with a look of hunger in its eyes. 'Ooh you look tasty' without a second though, the creature then picked the bird up and with a little effort, squeezed the bird into the seem between it and its flower. After a bit of squeezing and shoving it manages to get it filling shoved into the crevice. 'Ah much better!' It thought, bot giving a second moment to think about what it just did.
Feeling far more tired then it had before its nap, seeing the sun turn orange as it began sinking below the horizon, it slowly started to feel very sluggish. 'I guess it's time for bed. A bit early them what I am used to, but I guess with a new body comes new habits. Good night...' with a stuffed belly and a sleepy mind, the creature then fell asleep for the night, all of the petals petals attached to its flower began to rise and its flower wrapped itself snugly around its body leaving just enough room to be comfortable in its sleep.
