The bright moon was shining upon the bamboo forest, its light reaching down to its floor, revealing everything hidden among the foliage. The forest was completely silent—only the rustling of the leaves along with the wind shows any sign of life...

Until its silence was broken by the faint sounds of footsteps.

From the entrance of the forest, a person in a white mantle stepped in and investigated the surroundings vigilantly. It then stopped, and spoke to itself:

"I was just passing by and I sensed something strange coming from this place."

The voice hinted that this figure was a girl.

"Hmm... A ghost perhaps?"

She investigated the surroundings once more. Her senses were telling that there is more than one person in this place.

"Y'know, I don't really like playing hide-and-seek, But I definitely know you are somewhere around."

She procured a tome from inside her mantle and muttered...

"Guāng."

The book bursts into a blinding light for a moment, then slowly dimmed out, revealing the figure in the robe once more... and a tall woman right in front of her. Her ash dark skin resembled not of any mortal human.

"What kind of 'ghost' are you?"

The woman simply stared back at her.

"Well whatever... Whether you're a higher class ghost or a spirit, I will exterminate you all the same!"

As if understanding her words, the 'ghost' jumped back and vanished deeper into the bamboo forest. With confidence, she followed through with a single leap, and glided among the bamboo stalks. As she kept up her pursuit, she opened her faintly glowing book and sank her hand between its pages. Rays of light poured out as she pulled out a long, glowing sword from it.

"If this is how you want to play it, then make sure to entertain me!"
