Go Niamh Go! Go Niamh Go!
Karia encouraged Niamh as Niamh rode them both uphill across the crossroads on the way to Karia’s house.
They were both having fun, singing and laughing, while riding on Niamh’s bike.
They had been friends since kindergarten and used to live across each other’s house in the same neighborhood until 3 years back when Karia moved to a house on the outskirts of the town.
Karia was no ordinary teenager but a famous child actress who grew as an actor with her roles and amazing acting skills since she was 10. She got cast as a child actress thanks to her father for casually taking his daughter to the film set one day when he was working on a script with a director.
Karia, Niamh, and their other childhood friends all lived in the same neighborhood as children but as Karia grew older and got more recognition, it became difficult for herself and the people around her to live normal lives, so she had to move to a more secluded neighborhood and hence, she ended on the outskirts of the town.
While Niamh still stayed in the same neighborhood along with their other friends, all of them including Karia attended the same school and remained friends till date.
Niamh used to give Karia a ride back home after school every day as it was difficult for Karia to go on her own.
Today, while dropping Karia back home, Karia’s mom, the famous news anchor from the town, invited Niamh in for lunch. However, Niamh just took a cup of tea and left to go back home as they had to work on their assignments.
After a quick pleasant meeting, Niamh reached her house when she heard her phone ringing, and on checking she realized it was not her phone, but Karia’s phone in her bag which Karia mistakenly dropped there.
It was Karia’s mom’s number that was calling perhaps Karia wanted to check where is her phone. Laughing at the coincidence, Niamh picks up the call, says hello, and switches it to a video call to show Karia that it is her who has her phone.
Niamh hadn’t entered her house yet, but sitting in the courtyard of the house. Karia picked up the video call and both of them were laughing at the situation when suddenly, someone came near Niamh seeing whom she was scared. There was shock yet horror of the known on Niamh’s face which is visible to Karia from the video call.

Karia is shouting worriedly, “Niamh, who’s there with you? Who is it? Say something!”
But all she hears is “KARIAAAA-AAA-AA-AA” in a robotic cryptic man’s voice like the one you hear in the movies based on the hackers, and what happens after that is the utter nightmare none of them had imagined.
Niamh drops the phone but the call is still going on. She tries to run away from the stranger only to end up in the swing hung in her courtyard. The stranger comes closer to Niamh and starts strangling her.
The more Niamh fights and tries to get rid of the grip, the more the grip tightens.
Somehow Niamh gets out of the stranger’s grip and tries to get, but that person takes out a knife and swings it around Niamh’s face, leaving a cut on her cheek.
Bleeding, she tries to fight back and punches the stranger, which only gives the person a small blow in the stomach, but Niamh gets a little time to get out of the swing and run a bit only to be caught back by that strange person.
This time, this person slaps Niamh hard across the face making her bleed from her lips and mouth and she ends falling on the ground. Now she is sliding backward, begging the person in front of her for her life, but the killer has no mercy and starts attacking Niamh brutally with the knife.
This person stabs her in the stomach, then on the side of her stomach, in the back, and this way about 17 stabs in the abdomen and a final one, holding Niamh’s crying face, a clean cut on the throat making her lose her breath and life in that instant.
All of this is happening while the video call with Karia is still on.
Karia is in utter shock and horror and left breathless. The killer picks up Karia’s phone and hangs up the call.
The weird thing is the killer didn’t have any mask on, but Karia still couldn’t see the killer’s face.
After the call got hung up, Karia’s mom entered her room after a few minutes. When she sees Karia shocked and not moving, she gets worried and pushes Karia to check if she is okay. But Karia falls without any response as if she had turned into a statue and faints because of all the shock.
Karia, Karia, dear are you okay? Can you hear me? Please open your eyes!
Karia’s mom worriedly takes her to the hospital and she finds that her daughter has fainted because of a sudden shock and needs to be under observation.
On the other side, Niamh’s parents are back from work only to find Niamh covered in her own blood, dead in their courtyard. They are shocked and her mom faints because of the sight of her young daughter dead and her father lets out a loud scream making the whole neighborhood alert and scared of what could have happened.
A few neighbors come to them and call the police and ambulance.
When the police arrived, they could not find any traces of the killer or any signs of forced entry. However, as the whole neighborhood was redeveloped only recently, all the houses and the entrance of their society had CCTV cameras installed and working.
The police took all the footage without wasting any further time and found the face of the killer captured on the CCTV camera of Niamh’s house.
When they showed Niamh’s parents the face of the killer, the shock hit them the second time, and this time a bigger shock than Niamh’s death itself.
The killer was no other than Niamh’s childhood friend, her best friend - Karia.
How could this happen while Niamh was actually talking to Karia on the video call at the time?
