One thing I've learned from this whole adventure so far is to never give up, no matter what, fight to win, even if I still have a lot to win, I hope to make everything perfect.

Even if I have to become my worst self, I will make sure to fulfill my goal of saving humanity from these monsters.

Ji-hoon is currently hiding under a bridge, sitting and staring at the water with a blank stare, no facial emotions, just natural.

Ji-hoon is breathing heavier, he's done 200 push-ups and is now shaking his hands and looking into the water.

Should I drink from here? This doesn't look like a good place to drink water.

Ji-hoon gives himself two slaps to recover and continues to do his sit-ups to get more strength.

The fog under the bridge hits Ji-hoon with super cold air so he puts on his hoodie.

It's super cold at night but ehh.

He sits down and looks at his sword and notices something written on it. Ji-hoon looks super close to see what it says.

May 2295? Why does it say this date? Hmm let me think.

Ji-hoon thinks really super hard and realizes that's when the war in the future started.

How the hell? They know the future? Does that mean...there's another time traveler?

A cold breeze hits him on the spine making him flinch from where he was standing.

If there really is still a time traveler, that's how they know I'm one, but who could be a time traveler? Is it in Russia or another country?

Ji-hoon ponders.

I don't see a point for them to go back in time to do something but even so it's strange, that means there's someone else powerful who has travelled back in time and told the others of my presence here because otherwise I don't understand how they found out about me.

Nah, no point in being scared, after all I'll beat them all with that time traveler around and at the end, when my journey ends I'll make sure that time traveler suffers.

Ji-hoon turns his sword blade toward the lake and closes one eye for good accuracy, then throws his sword striking a fish.

Hah, I caught it

Ji-hoon enters the water to recover his sword knowing clearly not to taste the water at all. Once he's got his sword he goes over to the other side and at the same time he's got the fish which he suddenly bites into and the fish stops struggling.

Still, Ji-hoon is fine and completely fine but he always expects something to happen to his body but nothing, nothing is happening to his body so he keeps going.

Remember idiot, never drink water from rivers or lakes because it can be poisoned.

Ji-hoon looks back for a split second, seeing a man approaching him so Ji-hoon sticks his sword into the man's head when the man tried to electrocute him.

A little of the blood jumps onto Ji-hoon's face and he wipes it off and also wipes the blood off his sword.

Ji-hoon walks away and pulls his hood over his head to avoid being noticed.

The logical question is another, how am I going to get rid of them now? They're even more pissed at me for killing their helpers.

Ji-hoon kicks a rock.

Apparently even the ordinary people are idiots, they all want money instead of really understanding that the guys who rule them are idiots who want to hurt the planet.

Fury overtakes him to the point that his eyes bleed and a thick fog appears around him.

Now I have to fight normal people to keep from dying, what a bullshit thing to do.

Ji-hoon covers one eye and with the other he observes around, after the thick fog he sees all the people walking on the bridge where he was previously underneath even though it's super thick fog. Their every movement he observes just by his simple vision.

I don't understand what this function is and if it's from this chip but it helps me super much in the future.

Ji-hoon grins and takes his hand away from his other eye and wipes the blood from his eye and the fog around him completely disappears bit by bit.

Ji-hoon turns and walks forward towards the road, where there he passes without fear of moving cars.

I remember being afraid to cross the street by myself when I was little.

Ji-hoon crosses to the other side of the highway, sitting on the cool ground watching the sun rise.

What a beautiful place this is, I wonder what it will be like in other countries, that is if I will benefit from it in the other countries I have to travel to.

The sound of passing cars makes a lot of noise so Ji-hoon turns away from the highway and walks by the lake where it's quieter, the only sound is the birds starting to wake up.

Even though it's the year 2291, it really doesn't seem like that year at all but rather far in the past, the world hasn't advanced at all, I mean flying cars don't exist, robots to control the world as written in the books or news don't exist and I really like that, it's reassuring even though my mission is far from over.

The breeze of the lake washes over Ji-hoon and he stretches out feeling relaxed and leans back on the ground looking at the sky.

Technology has indeed advanced but not in the way someone would ever say it would, it's still, at least in the past, a pleasure to live, in the future many have ended their lives due to mass destruction of the population and it's sad to think about, but the only thing I can do is keep pulling hard until I accomplish my goal.

Ji-hoon closes his eyes to relax more.

I'm not going to sleep, even if I haven't slept, I'm going to stay awake because I don't want to not wake up.

He opens his eyes and sees the sun rising fully in the sky little by little.

First time in 5 years I've seen such a beautiful sunrise.

Ji-hoon gets up from the ground and picks up his sword.

But I have to fight to see this sunrise every day but without being in the past.

Ji-hoon looks at his face through his sword and sees only a dark figure with reddish eyes and tears of blood.

Ji-hoon has no reaction to seeing this, as if predicting that something will happen to him that will completely change him in the future.

I wonder what those in the future are doing.

In the future/present Soo-min trains together with Min-ji to gain strength for both of them.

"I didn't think Mr. Kim would let you be one of us from here."

Soo-min punches the bag and then stops.

"I didn't think it would happen either, but I'm glad it did"

"Hey, I wanted to ask, is Ji-hoon really dead or is that just an excuse?"

Soo-min remains silent, says nothing and stays quiet.

"Sorry if I bothered you with that question, it's just that rumors keep circulating that Ji-hoon isn't dead and that he's being tortured."

Soo-min looks at Min-ji with a semi-sad face.

"It's okay, I don't know exactly what happened to Ji-hoon, just that he was put in a cell room and left there, from here I don't know anything else about what happened to him"

"Hm, well, let's get on with our training and put this aside."

Soo-min without another word starts punching the punching bag hard again.

I'm sorry I have to lie, but the mission must remain completely secret.

After a few hours Ji-hoon sits on the lakeshore looking at the water and sees his own reflection slowly fade as he gets up from the ground and grabs his sword.

It buys the energy boost again and the green aura appears again with its eyes turning green.

He trains by slicing the air with his sword, every move he makes with his sword he also makes with his body, giving him better accuracy in his strike.

He jumps into the air and uses his sword like a skateboard to jump into the air more.

Being in free fall, Ji-hoon uses his sword to cushion the fall and falls to the ground intact, making a dusting around himself on impact.

A pop-up appears in front of Ji-hoon.

' In 4 days you will have to show up at the Former wood processing factory in the Nagatino-Sadovinki industrial area '

' However, be careful because as I told you before, they are strong and you'll have to train hard these remaining 4 days '

It drove me crazy with these announcements and their endings to not make mistakes in the mission, it literally drove me crazy.

Ji-hoon looks at the message and then closes his eyes, sitting for minutes with his eyes closed.

"Mr. Alexei, I talked to the teams, they said they're ready to kill Song Ji-hoon."

"Good job, I can't wait to see his head on this table"

Petrov gives Mr. Alexei a strange look but eventually excuses himself and leaves Mr. Alexei's office.

Let's see you now, Song Ji-hoon, surely you wish you had never ventured into the past and stayed in that present for the rest of your life.

"Have you seen him near Artinovoc Lake? Alright, we'll send out some task forces to catch him, thanks for letting us know about Song Ji-hoon"

The cop calls his boss.

"Sir, it's super important, Song Ji-hoon was seen in the Artinovoc Lake area"

"Yes? I'll be sure to have a quick chat with Alexei to call in one of his teams."

The boss hangs up on the policeman and writes down Mr Alexei's phone number and calls him.

Mr. Alexei grabs the phone and answers.

"Hello? What is it?"

"Mr. Alexei, Song Ji-hoon has been seen in the Artinovoc Lake area so I decided to share this information with you so you can do something about it."

Mr. Alexei is stunned to hear that Ji-hoon has the nerve to come out after what he did just a day ago.

"Hmm, fine Sidorov, but we're not going to attack him, let him because he's going to die in just 4 days anyway when he has to meet with the Horizon and Toyazo teams"

"But sir!"

"Nothing, I've already spoken to the two teams and it's clearly set up to happen that way, if he does dangerous activity you can intervene otherwise not"

Mr Alexei hangs up on Mr Sidorov.
