17. USA Debt and Japan.

Screen opens to the Presidents looking shocked at what they just Armstrong just said.

Franklin [WW2 President]- Japan owns what!? How did this happen?

Armstrong [Modern USA President]- Well you see mister Franklin it's a bit complicated.

Everyone in the room didn't look happy and mad at what they where being told.

Washington [1st USA President]- Then please explain Mister Armstrong. Why the nation is completely bankrupt.

Armstrong- Well this goes back two presidents ago. He shipped most of our company's to China and Russia and kept borrowing money until the system collapsed. I was just able to get company's back up and running.

Woodrow [WW1 President]- But how did Japan manage to get most of our debt?

Armstrong- I was about to get to that. You see when our economy collapsed China and Russia wanted to drop the US Dollar but they wanted to get something out of it. So Japan bought up the debt almost for nothing.

Abraham Lincoln [Civil War President]- Smart move on there part. But how far are we from paying it off?

Armstrong- Around half. As such you where all where brought up to date with American history up to Japan surrender.

Franklin- How did we win the war with Japan? The information you gave us where cut off during the finally days of the war. What happened?

Armstrong- To make it simple the Manhattan Project worked. And it took two and the Soviet to convince Japan to surrender.

Everyone looked confused but Franklin who hand a small grin.

James Knox [Mexican America War President]- What's the Manhattan Project?

Armstrong- Well we discovered how to honest the power of the Atom. And split it that cause a missive explosions that can level entire city's. We used it to force Japan to surrender.

James Madison [War1812 President]- Impossible a bomb that can destroy an entire town there no way a thing can exist.

Armstrong- It does and here all the proof you need.

Armstrong click a few buttons on the lab top and pulled up a B-29 Superfortress the loading of the nuke and the transport of it. Then to the bomb being dropped and showed the city consumed by an explosions. This shocks the presidents seeing the weapon the only one who wasn't fazed was FDR. Then it switched to Japan hospitals and the dead along with explaining the sicknesses caused by Radiation and ends.

Washington- How many of these bombs do we have?

Armstrong- We have around Five Thousand new nukes while we have Four Thousand old stock.

James- Why do we have that many?

Armstrong- You see after we went bankrupt Russia and China took over most of the market and tryed to start proxy wars again so we had to be prepare in case of another conflict.

Washington- What do mean by proxy wars.

Armstrong- It war with smaller nations. That gave advantages to one side or the other in resources and trade. To put it simple we gave weapons to country's that could help us. Anyway these files should explain everything.

Franklin- So what should we do about Japan? If there past leaders are here we need to be carful.

Armstrong- I already have some men there aiding modern Japan and talks should be starting soon. And Alpha Three should be there as well as our negotiator.

Screen changes to Modern Japan Tokyo Imperial Palace. Screen then changes to inside the palace meeting room where Empress Aia and Alpha Three getting ready for the meeting with the other Japanese's emperors .

Alpha Three- Are you ready for todays meeting Empresses?

Aia [Modern Japan Empresses]- Of course I am three. I'm just a bit worried about Emperor Hirohito.

Alpha Three- Why so?

Aia- He was the man responsible for sending Japan into World War Two. And I don't know if I can convince him to give up Korea.

As she heads towards the front of the screen changes outside Imperial Palace where reporters and greeting part. As Limo's pull up carrying Japan old Emperor's of Japan along with there generals.

[WW2 Emperor Hirohito and Head General Hideki Tojo. WW1 Emperor Taisho Head General Hideki Tojo. Boshin War Emperor Meiji Head General Saigō Takamori. and Mughal Invasion Emperor Hōjō Tokimune along with his negotiator].

As they walked up to the palace the screen changes to Armstrong and the rest of the Presidents watching the meeting through Alpha Three Helmet.

Alpha Three- Mister presidents the meeting going to begin soon.

Armstrong hits button on his lab top.

Armstrong- Nice work Alpha Three remain Radio silent until further noticer.

Alpha Three- Roger that sir.

Franklin- Amazing technology. This will help our nation greatly.

Everyone was whispering until Armstrong spoke up.

Armstrong- Quit everyone we need to listen. This will decide our alliance with Japan.

As they watch the screen changes to the meeting room in the Japan Imperial Palace.

Hirohito [WW2 Japan Emperor]- What is an American doing at this meeting Empress Aia?

Aia- It is part of our peace agreement and debt USA needs to pay us.

Taisho [WW1 Japan Emperor]- What do you mean by debt?

Aia- Well there was another great depression and we took advantage and bought up the USA Debt. And have a trade agreement to pay it off.

Hideki Tojo [WW2 General]- How much due they owe us.

Aia- We owe around 75% of the USA Debt. As for the number that will be with in the folders you've been given to your Emperors.

As the Emperors open there files they stood there shocked Tojo smiled at seeing the number along with Hirohito.

Meiji [Boshin War Emperor]- Are these numbers right.

Aia- They are. And remove those smirks from your face Tojo. America still have more advance technology then us.

Hideki Tojo [WW2 General]- Impossible. The American's could not have surpassed us.

Aia- It's true. Japan no longer a super power. We where defeated by America when our failed plan to cripple US fleet.

Hirohito- Then we must unit and rebuild our Empire. We can't allow ourselves to become defenseless in a time like this.

The room seem to be in an agreement.

Aia- I agree. But we must uphold the peace agreement with America and return Korea and Taiwan to there people.

Hirohito- Never! We won those territory's fairly. We can still hold off America.

The room seem to be at an agreement on that but Aia.

Aia- I believe it's time I show you how we lost the war against the Allies then.

Aia pulls up a video on the screen and plays the nuke dropping that destroyed two of Japan city's. Everyone now see's what there dealing with.

Hōjō Tokimune [ Mughal Invasion War Emperor]- How!? How can such a weapon exist.

Hideki Tojo [WW2 General]- No I wont except this we can build our own.

Aia- America has ten thousand of these on stand by we wouldn't last a week against them so quit Tojo.

Hideki Tojo [WW1 General]- She is right me. Maybe we can convince them in keeping the territory we still have here.

Alpha Three- That has already been agreed upon in exchange for Korea and Taiwan freedom.

Hirohito- Fine we will pull out our men in exchanged.

The room fell silent feeling defeated.

Taisho- Now since that done. We are now at war with these people in this new world and must focus on controlling our territory.

Aia- America has agreed to give support and supply's. But we must deal with the most important thing who shall become main Emperor of Japan. And I would like to recommend an election of course after we regain control over our territory's.

The room looked surprised at the recommendation.

Hirohito- No I must make up for the dis honor I brought to Japan. I must remain as Emperor.

Taisho- No son. You had your chance. I agree with the election as long as we all given proper time to prepare.

Aia- Agreed. Here is the paper work we shall sign to agree.

As the paper handed out the screen changes to WW2 Japan territory of they took from China Shanghai where WW2 Japan Soldiers are fighting against Samurai ridding giant Tigers carrying spears and Gunto sword. While Munk Samurai wears light to no armor launching fire balls and have Gunto Swords that mix with there element ability's. The Tiger manage to dodge most of the machine gun fire forcing WW2 Soldiers to charge.

Takeo [Japan WW2 Soldier leader]- Banzai!!

The spears burns Dark Blue cuts through the WW2 Soldiers as they hold the line. That when Japan F-35 drops bombs taking out half the charging tigers. Then CH-47 Helicopters fly towards the town. Takeo approached by a WW2 Soldier. As he see's the Carrier Ronald Reagan and Japan JS-Kaga Carrier with four Japan and American Cruisers.

Takeo- Americans!? What are they doing here?

[Japan Radio Soldier]- Commander Takeo! We got radio call from the Emperor!

The screen changes to inside a building with Takeo on the radio.

Takeo- What!? I thought you we declared war on the American's?

Hirohito- A change of plans for the moment. We will deal with the American's at a latter date as for now they are our allies in stabilizing our territory's. But be assured our plans have not changed we just need to by our time you understand.

Takeo- Of course my Emperor.

Hirohito- That is all until further notice.

As the radio call ends the screen changes back to the USA meeting room with all the presidents.

Franklin [WW2 President]- Hm. We must have Hirohito removed from office. If he remains there continue there conquest of becoming an Empire.

Armstrong- It wasn't just Hirohito Tojo was also responsible for a lot of the war.

Washington- Don't forget we have our battles here. We can't focus on both with threating our own people well being.

Woodrow- I agree with Washington we have to much here to worry about to go and play world leader at this time. Even with nukes and our giant fleet.

Everyone agreed on this.

Armstrong [Thoughts]- Dam it. We can't afford to lose Japan and have it return to Empire Japan.

Armstrong- Then might I recommend we balance out our aid to our Allies. Giving them what we can spare.

Abraham- Hm. A good idea but it could lead to more trouble. Considering where at war still with these kingdoms. What if we can't afford to do so.

Armstrong- Then where focus on our nation. I already have the bill here. We must all work together or I fear American and our Allies are doomed.

The room fell silent as they go over the paper work. The screen fades to black with Armstrong taking another smoke of his Cigar.
