An End To The Beginning

I held the Stormbringer and confronted the Greater Demon.

The Greater Demon also seemed to think that I, standing in front of me, was trying to destroy me. A piercing hostility and swallowing pressure struck.

Even so, I was the first to set it up.

Close the distance at once and swing down the storm blinker. The Greater Demon crosses the Grave and receives my deadly blow. The magic swords collide with each other, causing mutual magical interference.

I tried to push it all the way through, putting my strength into the arm holding the stormbringer-I heard a curse. I jumped back a lot at once. At that moment, the ground I was on was completely scooped out. It emitted an invisible shock wave.

The Greater Demon swings the Grave from the left and right while shifting the timing. Play the first shot and play the second shot. The vibration runs through the sword.

As expected, there is too much difference in strength between humans and demons before their skills. I'm doing my best because it bends the trajectory of the blade. I clench my teeth and endure the onslaught of the Greater Demon.

--Now.

What if you were asked what was the most effective thing when dealing with a demon? I will answer immediately like this. Courage. Short-term decisive battle. Surprisingly.

Scratching down the blade of Grave, which was swung down by skewering, I jumped further inside the space of the Greater Demon. The surcoat is torn and the chain mail is scraped. You can hear the metallic sound, but it is a trivial matter. There were red eyes of the Greater Demon at the tip of the eyes and nose. The long handle does not swing at this distance!

Close one eye, I cast a spell quickly.

The temple knight is a monk and a knight. There's no reason he can't use sacred magic!

"Holy Light!"

The sacred magic was released from a close distance to the tip of the Greater Demon's nose. The holy light that can be extinguished with a single blow if undeath takes away the view of the Greater Demon for a moment even if the damage does not pass.

I also had one field of vision dyed white, but I opened the other eye that was meditating there. In the remnants of light, there was a figure of a Greater Demon whose eyes were burned and his unprotected torso was exposed. The jet-black tip draws a magical arc.

I felt a certain response.

The Greater Demon, which was divided into upper and lower parts, fell on his back while his belly was greatly squeezed and black blood was blown out.

Still!

Furthermore, I swing down the storm blinker at the neck of the fallen Greater Demon. The head blew off like a catapult bullet while sprinkling bloody vomiting. It's not because there is a grudge. The vitality of the demon and the higher-ranking individuals cannot be underestimated. If this is not done, the Greater Demon may be revived.

Anna approached me as I breathed on my shoulder. It's a sad profile.

She murmured, looking down at her corpse.

"It's a demon's name to be used by humans. These stupid people ... "

They probably have their reason. I dare not pinch my mouth. While doing so, the body of the Greater Demon discolored and incinerated. It seems that the inhabitants of the other world must not remain in this world, even if they are dead.

If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

However, only the grave he was using remained.

With this, all the current obstacles have been removed. I slowly turned my face without closing the storm blinker.

Doug hits! I took my breath away.

Me and Anna walked up to him who was stuck in his shoulder.

The distance you can reach if you reach out. Stormbringer was swung straight down. The demon summoning jar that was rolling on the ground broke in half very easily. The cause was destroyed. Now you can't call the demon and his genus anymore.

I stuck the stormbringer on the ground so that it wouldn't fall over. Then, force Doug to stand up with both hands.

"Gya!"

And a short scream. It doesn't matter if blood spills from my shoulders.

I grabbed Doug's neck with his right hand and hit his nose with his prosthesis. With a fist that is almost incomparable to humans.

A heavy, watery sound echoed. I pulled my left fist further,

Hit.

Hit.

Hit.

By the time the jade-colored prosthesis turned bright red, Doug's face looked horrible.

"He, help ..."

Doug begs for life while shedding blood and tears.

"I won't stab you at the end."

That's right, I let go of his neck.

Doug with a stunned face. He may have thought that he would be saved even for a moment.

"Temple knights are benevolent, but not wicked, especially if they are wicked."

I pulled out the stormbringer and went down a few steps.

"And it's not my job to judge your sins."

Doug's eyes were wide open. Alone, his teeth make a rattling noise. Because there were people who came forward as I went down. With a hoe or stick in his hand, the villagers who lost their husband, wife, children, parents and loved ones slowly approached Doug.

Hatred, anger, grudge, sorrow. Negative emotions spring up as many as the number of villagers.

I smile. It must have been a smile that didn't seem to be an apostle of God.

"You can't even say magic with such a swollen face, right?"

Doug trembles, but he can't sit down as if he were in a sleep paralysis. He looked at me in a frightened manner, and he opened his mouth to say something-- The villagers shook the hoe to silence it.

A gruesome scream.

I picked up the discarded pod and returned the stormbringer.

I raise my face.

There was a figure of Anna there.

Anna illuminated by the moonlight is very fantastic and beautiful enough to sigh. Her body is as heavy as lead. I sat down on the spot and took a small breath.

The dark priest's screaming was uninterrupted overnight.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The next day, I and Anna were standing on the hill. It is on that hill where I defeated the Kobolts and found the village of Yona.

Clouds were swept away by the wind, and a sky of the same color as my eyes appeared and disappeared. One night passed, my left arm did not move from that point. And the storm blinker is also stuck. The level drain is eroding my body again.

"The aftertaste is bad ..."

Muttered a little. I couldn't keep it in my chest.

"That's right"

Anna stands close to me. Her toes were just off the ground.

"Is there a lot of people like that?"

Anna asks what she understands.

"There are many"

"Ah, I see I see. That's right ... Um. I want to beat as much as I can. "

The same opinion as the demon is somewhat disturbing.

But,

"Yeah. I want to beat it."

Recovering the knitting cap, I nodded.

Is he sleeping with peace of mind? I'd love to meet again and ask if I can, but that won't happen anymore. The giant's finger stretched a big shadow over the forest as long as its name.

We leave the hill. The journey has just begun.
